How can I make a photo fit my iPhone 6 as wallpaper?

I have an iPhone 6, and would like to set a photo as wallpaper, but no matter how I crop and try to resize it, it does not fit and an edge is cut off.
Any tips on how to make a photo fit? I did not have this problem with my previous iPhone 4s.

The easiest way is to select the photo you want to use. Then edit it (crop, enlarge, move left/right/up/down) then when you are happy with it - take a screen shot (tap sleep/wake button at same time tapping Home button). Use this saved image as your wallpaper.

Hi, actually i am not sure what is going on here as after i updating my iOS 4.2.1 to 4.3.1, the Default Wallpaper will automatic become a Caucasian Man with some wording "is never going to give you" on the Top of the wallpaper. I had try to change the wallpaper and after restart the phone, The Wallpaper will automatic change to the Caucasian Man agaan. I feel very fed up now and i hope there is someone can help me to solve this problem. I had try 2nd time Restore but it is still the same. Somebody told me this is Virus. So, please help me.

You have jailbroken your phone, right, so that bug comes with it, I think it is a photo of one of the Jailbreakers.
Just make a clean install from tunes, and enjoy!

Crop Settings to make iPhone 4 wallpaper in Aperture 3

Sorry if this has already been asked but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I have just moved from iPhoto to Aperture and am still learning the basics. What is the best way to crop a picture for iPhone 4 sized wallpaper? And what about for a 13" MacBook Pro. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. In iPhoto there are quick settings for display size crop and iPhone crop but I'm not picking up on what to do in Aperture. Thanks!

Welcome to Aperture and the list.
If the MacBook Pro is the system Aperture is running on then just select *Main Display Aspect Ratio* in the crop tool and you will get the correct dimensions for it.
Not familiar with the aspect ratio of the iPhone but once you figure it out if those dimensions aren't listed you can go custom and enter the values in the crop tool.

Wallpaper won't mount

iPhone 3G owner since 9/08 and no problems with wallpaper until now. Problem is it has disappeared and nothing I do will reinstall any wallpaper photo -- my own or from the stock. Anyone know how to "re-paper" the wall behind the unlock screen?

Make sure you are setting the wallpaper as described on page 79 of the iPhone User Guide
Wallpaper
+You see a wallpaper background picture as you unlock iPhone or when you’re on a call+
+with someone you don’t have a high-resolution photo for.+
+Set a photo as wallpaper:+
+1 Choose any photo and tap , then tap Use As Wallpaper.+
+2 Drag the photo to pan, or pinch the photo to zoom in or out, until it looks the way you+

Does your iPhone have a wallpaper?
If no, that it's an iPhone 3G (Black background)
If yes, does your iPhone have an inner camera?
If no then it's an iPhone 3GS.
If yes it's an iPhone 4.
Or
Settings App>General>About (This only works on iOS 3 and iOS 4, it doesnt seam to work on iOS 5)

Text tones and wallpaper on itunes

I purchased ringtones off iTunes but is there a way to purchase text tones and wallpaper off iTunes.

You can't purchase/make text tones for the iPhone...at least not directly. I don't know much about jail breaking but if it's possible then that would be the only way to use text tones that are not the ones that Apple pre-loaded. As far as wallpapers...there may be apps...you'll have to search the App Store for that. Or do a google search to see if any exist for the iPhone. You could always use any pic you take or have on your iPhone as a wallpaper/background but it will only apply to the home screen an/or the lock screen.

Strange problem in syncing with iPhoto

Hi All.
LOVING my iPhone, but a weird thing is happening when I sync photos. I have a million on iPhoto and only wanted to take about 50 over to my iPhone (for mainly wallpaper, phone contact purposes. So, I created an "iPhone" folder within iTunes, checked to only sync from that folder and synced. Now, when I hit the photos button I get:
Camera Roll (7)
Photo Library (49)
iPhone (49)
The Photo Library and iPhone folders contain the same photos. Why is it duplicating?

I can not offer a solution but I will share that I have found that Outlook 2013 (64 bit) on Windows 8.1 can not be synchronized with my Z10 using Link. Link only provides the option to sync from the Windows calendar & contacts but not Outlook 2013 (installed version). I have made numerous inquiries on the forums which largely go unanswered.
I bought an application called PC Outlook Sync but it does not work at all. Now trying to get my money back.
It may well be that Blackberry will only support current and future versions of Outlook that are on Exchange servers and not on individual computers. i have read where there may be some way to employ the online version of Office to synchronize but I am not comfortable with that. No security at all when one's stuff goes into the cloud.

Ios7 ipad mini coverflow replacement

Hi, various sites discussing ios7 show a replacement for cover flow where, when in music and landscape mode, a grid of album covers show. Doesn't do this on my iPad so is it just on iPhone?

Your wallpaper? Yes, it's a bug. If you go into the photos app and choose your photo then send it to be wallpaper you do have a bit more control although not as much as you used to have.
No idea when or if Apple will fix it.

Not syncing Photo Albums

I have reset my iphone a number of times now, but my photo album is simply no longer showing when I sync. There is nothing on the bar while syncing, and when I open the photo icon it says "No Photos" (you can take pic...bla bla bla)
I think there must be pictures from my album on the iphone because the wallpaper I show from my private photo album not an apple. I can take images also and download them.
Also while I am syncing the syncing mode goes on and on and on as if looking for the album (which is ticked) and which has only a few smal pix in it. I have to manually interrupt the syncing otherwise it just stays on.
Any help is appreciated. Greatly...

Did you try to remove all photos from your phone by deselecting the folder in the photo pane in itunes? Then try again to select the folder on your computer and sync.

Why is my custom background doing this?

I found a webpage telling the exact pixel size for a iPhone 4/4s wallpaper. I'd used the pixel size a few months ago and it worked perfectly. However I tried creating a couple more backgrounds last night and it is zooming in really far. Below is the image background I created as well as a screenshot of what it is doing to me.
Does anyone know why I is doing this or how to fix it? I've tried all I can think I and it won't work.

Customised screensaver app for pureview

Is there any app for pureview which can help me customise the screensaver? enabling me to put text on the screensaver instead of the clock. I don't think the sleeping screen app can do it.

I don't believe so, since 3rd party apps aren't allowed to run in the background. The iPhone includes a wallpaper selection, but not a screensaver. When your iPhone is locked, the screen is off and if a screensaver was allowed to run, this would consume the battery in relatively short order.
