Iphone 3g SMS failing

Every time I use music on my phone and then try send or recieve texts/calls my phone does not work, I then have to turn it on and off for texts to work.
Can anyone help or does it just need updating?

That error normally means the phone has been jailbroken or the baseband has been replaced with an iPad baseband to unlock the phone. It can also mean that you don't have the most recent version of iTunes. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694#error1015

Delete the backup and try again.
Computer iTunes > Preferences... (Windows: Edit > Preferences...) > Devices > mark your back and click Delete button.

I have setup a rule in outlook to forward a copy of certain emails that i revieced to my iPhone via SMS say my address would be [email protected]
But the problem is it won't forward to my phone, but in outlook the rule is working, copy of emails were being put to the folder i've specified.
I need help regarding this issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, i've tried to forward it to some emails within my company and it's working, it just don't want to forward to my phone. and I am using txt.att.net sorry for that . I don't know if the exchange admin don't allow to forward it outside my company. Hmmm but when i try to send an email directly (without outlook rule) i can recieve email in my phone. It sounds like your phone is not activating correctly when you are trying to set it up. I would recommend the troubleshooting from the following article named:

Restart the iPhone.

IPhone 4s power failing within 3 hours with only 2 calls after charging overnight

My wifes iPhone power is failing within 3 hours of overnight charge, after only 2 calls and reading about 4 e-mails. My phone however works fine. Both are the same model 4s. Any ideas?

I have been getting 2 - 4 days use on my 4s after each of the 7.x upgrades.
I haven't had 7.0.3 for that long, but my phone now shows 14hr 55 min standby with 2 hrs usage and 76 percent battery left.

It sounds like you are unable to restore your phone with iTunes because the connection keeps timing out. There can be a number of causes for this, so I would use the troubleshooting from the following article to help resolve or isolate the issue:

Check connections
Try these steps to check the connection between your device or computer. You might need to do only one of these steps to resolve the issue, so test your connection after each step.
See if the cable connection at the device or computer has come loose or unplugged.
Unplug the cable you're using to connect your iOS device from the USB port on your computer, and then reconnect it. Then unplug it from your iOS device, and reconnect it.
Remove any third-party battery packs or cases from the device and ensure that the USB cable is connected directly to the port on the device.

Messages sending to iPhone as SMS instead of iMessage

I have an iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8.3 and a MacBook Pro 17" running OS X Yosemite (10.10.2). My wife has an iPhone 6 and a MacBook running an older version of OS X. Occasionally when I try to send her an iMessage using the OS X Messages app, it tries to send the message as SMS instead of iMessage. This usually fails because cell phone service at my rural home is spotty at best. Why, when my Mac and both iPhones have solid wi-fi connections to my AirPort Extreme, would it send messages as SMS?

Duplicate SMS, failed SMS, etc.

Okay so now i'm having a whole new set of issues with my iphone 4. Ever since I updated to iOS 5, texts fail randomly and i have to resend them till they go through, or other people will randomly get old texts twice or three times, sometimes even more. Sometimes they get texts from yesterday again today. it's getting ridiculous and ******* everyone i know off when i'm literally not doing anything to cause this. Apple doesn't seem to have a clue why it'd do this so now i just have a case number for the issue. They had me shut off imessage, that didn't help so i decided on my own accord to do a factory restore from itunes. I'll have to see if this works. Has anyone else heard of this issue or have had similar problems? any advice would be appreciated.

You would have to look on your bill to determine that. I would say that you are, and the reason I say this is because I've sent my son SMS msg's only to find out (at that particular time) that he needed to add on some mins to his "pay as you go" package, so technically he didn't receive the SMS. However I was charged for the outgoing SMS message. Like I mentioned above though, you would have to determine that on your own by looking at your bill.

Texting ex-iPhone owner is failing

Hi everyone,
I know there's a number of threads around the issue where someone who once owned an iMessage-capable device, can no longer receive texts from Apple users, but I seem to have a slightly different issue.
My GF had an iPhone 4S, as did I. I upgraded to a 5s, and she moved over to a Nokia 925. All was well, until I tried testing her. This didn't work, obviously because she was no longer able to get iMessages. However, the Send as SMS option never automatically kicked in (never seems to) and the 'Send' button remained blue. My phone thought she was still an iMessage user.
So, after reading helpful replies on here, we have:
1. On her old phone, turned off iMessage
2. Gone to iTunes, and removed her number
3. Gone to the online Apple profile to delete her device - but it was not there anyway. (my new 5s doesn't appear on my account, either)
4. I have deleted her contact from my phone, and recreated her.
5. I have tried turning off iMessage complately, on my phone
And many other tricks.
But, I am the *only* iPhone user who cannot send her an SMS. At first, no one could, and we understood it could take up to 48 hours to replicate the changes across Apple, but a week later, and while other iPhone users can now text her, I still cannot. The SMS progress bar progresses across the screen until about 95% and sits there, and then fails. Every time.
Her phone is recieving texts from other Apple users and non-Apple users just fine, and I can text and iMessage everyone else, as I always good - except her phone.
Any ideas what may be the issue here?

I forgot to add, she has an iPad too - I can iMessage her just fine on that, by using her email address.

I have a friend who has lost his phone, so presume its that one but how do I know?
Its the only flaw i have found on the iPhone, love everything else about it
