IPhone 3G won't sync calendar with Exchange 2003

Hi - can't see this exact problem elsewhere hence the post...
I have iPhone 3G syncing with OWA from Exchange 2003 just fine with mail and contacts. Calendar is totally blank though. If I create a new appointment on iPhone then it shows up in Exchange - great! If I do it the other way round then I get nothing on iPhone - unless I invite myself in which case it does! But then if I delete the email invitation then the entry disappears. I could live with that (just about) but not but being able to sync my calendar history is a big problem for me.
By the way I can't sync my calendar history via iTunes to Outlook because the sync component crashes!
Can anyone shed any light?

Hi man, I got the same problem with my iPhone, but it has been solved..
First, You need the Outlook 2003 or 2007 only, if you have a earlier version of this it isn't work.
Second, You sould need to create a new PST file whit the Outlook Version 2003 or 2007, the file format must be on Unicode Format, no Outlook (97-2000) format, with this file format the import of calendar doesn't gonna be work.
Third, You now have a PST whit Outlook 2003 or 2007 Version, you need to manually put your events on the calendar, Why? Cause if you just move it on the new calendar it gonna create and old instance of the event not a new instance, That's why iTunes doesn´t sync the calendar.
I done all these and actually I can sync the calendar with my iphone.

  • IPhone 4S IOS5 problems sync Calendar with Exchange 2003

One of my users is having problems sync Calendar with a brand new iPhone 4S running IOS5 and our Exchange 2003 Server. If an item is updated in Outlook it will not reflect it in the iPhone or viceversa. New items show up in both, only the updates in notes or changing some text in the subject or other elements in one side is not updated in the other side. Any help will be greatly appreciate.

  • IPhone 4 won't sync calendar with Outlook 2010 and Windows 7

I have iPhone 4 and have noticed my Outlook 2010 (32 bit) calendar won't sync in either direction with my iPhone. I run Windows 7 (64 bit version 6.1 Home Premium). ITunes (10.4.1.10 version) sees my device and I even checked the serial number match. Entries in my calendar on the phone don't appear in Outlook and entries in Outlook don't appear on the phone. I have double checked all the settings and they all seem correct, so what is happening here?

Did you try the troublshooting mentioned here? Troubleshooting iPhone and iPod touch contact and calendar syncing via USB on Windows
Start with resetting the sync history:
    Reset Sync History
If you find that some of your data syncs to your device but you see an unexpected number of changes or modifications, you may need to reset your sync history. This causes iTunes to prompt to Merge or Replace information on the device when you next attempt to sync your information. To reset your Sync History:
    Open iTunes.
From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
    Click the Devices tab.
Click the Reset Sync History button.

  • IOS 8.1.1 iPhone 5 won't sync calendars with MacPro

I am using an iPhone 5, iOS 8.1.1, an older MacPro with OS 10.7.5 and iTunes 12.0.1.26
Up until the past 2 weeks I had no problem syncing calendar events between the phone and computer. Now my memory become foggy, I either downloaded the latest version of iTunes or the phone's iOS and ever since I cannot sync my calendars. My music syncs fine when I make changes to the playlists.
I've chek'd thru the discussions on similar items here in the discussion group but nothing seems to help.
Anyone with suggestions or a fix?

  • Iphone 5 not syncing calendar with exchange

We have several iPhones in our organization - both 4S and 5. We are syncing them with Exchange Server 2003 and 2010 SP1. Email and Contacts sync fine, but the Calendar does not. Anyone have an idea on what we can try?
    Thanks

Hmm ...238 views, and 14 people with the same question, but no replies?
I have spent the most frustrating 3 weeks trying everything suggested on every forum I could possibly find, and STILL I have not solved this
Everything has been deinstalled, reinstalled. Pst files have been backed up and recreated. etc etc
The only headway I seem to have made is to discover that when I create a new Outlook profile with a 'guest' account my phone will happily sync calendar with this profile, so what does that tell me? That it's a problem with my original Outlook user profile ? (If so, what should I now do?)
There seem to be so many people with the same problem - Outlook calendar suddenly not syncing - I can't believe someone hasn't identified the problem....
    Please.......

  • My iPad won't sync calendar with Outlook Exchange but my iPhone will

This is not the Outlook Exchange calendar cancellation problem reported elsewhere on this forum. Our organization has had this problem, but what I describe seems to be different.
I am running an iPhone 4S and an iPad 3, both on iOS 6.0.1. Our organization runs Outlook Exchange 2007.
My iphone syncs perfectly with Outlook Exchange. However, my iPad does not sync properly. On the iPad, only a few appointments show up. If I try to refresh the sync, the few appointments on the iPad disappear while I am watching.
Outlook Calendar on my office desktop on our network seems to work well.
Any suggestions? I have tried rebooting but that hasn't helped.

Have you tried deleting the Exchange account, and adding it again fresh?  I had similar problems and this fixed it for me.

  • HELP !! My ipad mini and iphone 5 just stopped syncing calendar with outlook 2007 calendar.

All apple devices are at current OS levels and no changes have been made except to calendar entries.  I recently added a bunch of new appointments to outlook and then used my ipad to insert an appointment that was sent to me by email from american airlines. I have done a hard boot (held done the off button till dark) on both devices. I have checked my sync settings in itunes - set to sync all calendars.  I have tried both iphone 5 and ipad mini using the automatic sync when device is attached and also by hitting the sync button in itunes.  I do not use the icloud, but both devices backup to my windows 7 computer.  Calendar is my most important app, as I use it to keep my day organized and to make it to appointments.  Not being able to sync is a disaster. Need help, can't think of what else to try.

More - Information - Also tried the advanced setting to replace the ipad calendar with the outlook calendar - did not work and ran the Diagnostic test for sync and no errors found - says it works.  Extremely frustrated.

  • Mac and iphone 4 won't sync calendar anymore. Why?

My mac calendar used to sync with my iPhone 4 calendar.  Now I'm not even given the option on the summery section on itunes during syncing. Help!  I need my calendars to sync! I've recently downloaded Maverick...could this have anything to do with it?

My iPhone has not been pushing the appointments I enter on it to the Calendar on my MacPro for some time. I changed my Apple ID recently and I'm suspicious that could have something to do with it. So, I went into my iPhone and made sure that my Apple ID in the iCloud setting had the current password.
Then I launched the actual calendar app on the iPhone and when the calendar app is on, the word Calendars is at the bottom on the screen. I tapped on that and selected/activated ONLY the "Calendar" which appears under ON MY IPHONE. With only that calendar selected I could see appointmetns I'd entered on the calendar in the iPHone. None have been pushed to my MacPro. So, I then took all of those and maually entered them onto the MacPro's iCal app making sure they were on one of the calendars listed under iCloud.
Once all of those were transferred, I went back to the iPhone, unchecked/deactivated the Calendar under ON MY iPHONE and activated all the calendars on the iPHone showing under ICLOUD.
Then, I went to Settings >Mail, Contacts, Calendars and scrolled all the way down to CALENDARS. There is a setting for Default Calendar and I picked one of the iCloud calendars as my default iPhone Calendar. From now on, any appointment I enter on the iPhone should be on that calendar unless I manually pick another calendar at the time.
I'm going to do my best to only make entries on one of the iCloud calendars as it appears those are the only calendars that synch.
I did a test, and entered a new appintment on my Mac's calendar and it was pushed immediately to the iphone. I then made a new appintment on the iphone and it did not pop up immediately on iCal in the Mac Pro.  Instead of waiting to see how long it would take to get to the Mac's calendar, I just closed and re-opened iCal on the Mac. The new appintment (from the iPhone) was there as soon as I restarted iCal on the MacPro.
Looks like my problem is solved.

  • My new iPhone 5 will not sync calendars with my iMac and iPad.

Can someone please help me with this. I have ticked the sync calendars in the phone info tab. I tend to put appointments on both my iPhone and my iPad so I need all 3 talking to each other.

So I've always sort of had this problem with syncing my calendar and I think I finally figured out why. It seems I have two Apple ID's. My iCloud email address is [email protected] This is one Apple ID. My iTunes account has always been my Gmail email address. This is another Apple ID. Since I never use my Apple email address, I never considered that to be my Apple ID. I always considered what I used to connect to iTunes my Apple ID. So when I set up any iPhone I've ever had - when asked for my Apple ID I always put in my gmail address and it worked just fine. The problem is nothing was ever syncing properly with the cloud. Tonight, on my iPhone, I went to Settings > iCloud and then scrolled down to the bottom and deleted the account (this was my personal account at Gmail) Then I added [email protected] as my Apple ID. I then made sure everything in iCloud was switched on on the iPhone and just like magic, I went back to my iCal on the phone and everything syncs perfectly. It was a simple issue of having two Apple ID's. Make sure the email address you're using for iCloud is the Apple ID you're setting your iPhone up with and everything should work properly. Nobody has ever been able to figure this out for me. I hope this will help someone who has been as frustrated as I have been for such a long time now.

  • Outlook 2013 Won't Sync Consistently with Exchange 365 Server

    Hello,
I have a Win 7 Pro laptop running Office 365 Pro Plus, and Outlook 2013 is part of that package.  For some reason, Outlook isn't syncing to the Exchange 365 server.  Even though it says "Connected" at the bottom, and that "All Folders
Are Up to Date", I'm still not getting a full sync.  Example: I can delete a message from my inbox on my Win 7 computer, yet the message doesn't delete from the Outlook Web App, or my iPhone or iPad.  Or, I can delete a message from my
iPad or iPhone, and it will delete on Outlook Web App but not on my laptop running Outlook.  In other words, my Win 7 PC running Outlook is the odd man out.  My iOS devices and the Outlook Web App always seem to be in sync.
I did notice that at the bottom of the message list in my inbox in Outlook, there's a link telling me "there are more messages on the server".  I click that link, and it takes a few seconds for my inbox messages to update.  Once they
do, I see messages I've already deleted before.  This tends to improve the sync function as well, but only temporarily.
I did try to repair my profile by going to File --> Account Settings and then choosing Repair.  That didn't really seem to change anything.
I also tried running a full Office 365 repair in Add/Remove Programs, but that didn't fix it either.
I have downloaded and installed all of the latest updates from Microsoft Update.  Not really sure where else to look.

    Hi,
Since Office 365 is different from Exchange On-Premises, I suggest asking Office 365 Forum for help so that you can get more professional suggestions. For your convenience:

  • After iOS6 update, iPhone 4 doesn't sync calendar with iTunes

    Hello,
I have an iPhone 4. After update to iOS6 the sync of my calendar has a strange behavior! It doesn't sync anymore. When I enter a calendar entry on iPhone, it's not synchronized with the macbook Calendar.
I changed calendar dates on my macbook - it won't appear on my iPhone4.
I badly missed some dates, till I found that the Calendar doesn't sync.
I also set in iTunes the marked, that on next sync the calendar should be replaced - but even then the new entries doesn't appear. Completely strange is, that if I delete the calendar on my iPhone and resync by iTunes, I get the calendar back, but the new or changes entries don't appear.
What can I do, instead of waiting to get my new iPhone5?

Now I have my new iPhone5...
And what should I tell you?dar. Neither from iPhone
There is still no sync of the calender from iPhone to MacBookPro and no sync of calendar entries from the MacBookPro to iPhone.
I am helpless. I tried to replace the calendar - it syncs, but the edited entries do not appear - they were sync with the old entries. Where the **** do they come from?
Normal Sync, nothing happens...what's a smartphone
Does nobody have a guess or anything I can try? Really, this *****... what's a smartphone without a syncronized and working calendar??

  • E71 unable to sync Calendar with Exchange 2007

I updated my MfE client from 2.04 to 2.09.158 but that did not help.  When I look at my admin log file, I see these messages:
failed to create Calendar sync command (error=-1)
    Mail For Exchange Error -15000
    Mail For Exchange Error -15000
When I am trying to sync the phone, it simply says: System Error.  Please try again later.
I tried the trick where you set your date/time on the phone off into the distant future, and then delete all calendar events from before that date, and then set the current date back and run Synchronize, but it didn't make a difference.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Hal

I seem to be having a similar problem, calendar initially synced up, but after a while though I do get the invite mails but they dont get updated to calendar even if I accept them. I am running mfe 2.0.7. Any inputs would be appreciated.
    thanks

  • I bought a new computer and now my phone won't sync calendar with outlook

I bought a new computer and after I set up Windows with Outlook 2010 I tried to sync my Iphone with Outlook, but no luck. The phone used to sync with the old Outlook program.

Did you transfer all of your iTunes content/iTunes library to the new Mac? If you didn't, have you transferred purchases into the new iTunes library from the iPad?
