IPhone 3Gs 3.0.1 doesn't charge completely
Hello! I have a BIG problem with my iphone 3gs 32 gb 3.0.1 software. Everytime i put it at charge, 3-4 hours, it can't charge to 100 %. It remains at 95%. What's the problem? Please answer me ! Thank you !

As you may find out be [reading this thread|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1804116&tstart=30], you may end up having conversation issue when using an iPhone 3G or 3GS with merely ANY bluetooth headset you try out.
We are still waiting for an update -or should I say a more cleverly-done update- bluetooth support from Apple.

My iPhone 3GS battery loses at least 30% charge when off for at least an hour, I took it in to an apple retail store at the end of 2010 and they told me it was fine but advised I restore and set up as a new iPhone which I did, it got better for about a month then went back to normal losing battery. I have no hardware coverage left and my specs are: iPhone 3GS 16gb IOS 4.3.3 white. I have had it since December 2009.
I'm afraid I don't. I don't know if the phone is still within warranty. I don't know which country you are in. I don't know what third party repair companies charge where you are.

ThanksAre you currently plugging it into a computer? If so, try plugging it into a USB power adapter. It's possible that you're trying to charge it from a low-power USB port, and that's not enough to sustain your phone and get it charging.
If you're still unable to get it to charge, schedule a visit with your local genius bar at apple.com/retail -
I have an IPhone 3GS that keeps getting the message "charging not supported by this device" Dismiss. I have tried several different ac adaptors, car chargers and even directly connected to USB on computer and still get the same message. Software is up to date as well. Help!

Iphone 3GS recognised in iTune, but not charging
I'm stuck....
one month ago, I got a message on my 3gs "this accessory is not optimised" while there's nothing plugged in...
two weeks ago, I put my iphone on wall charger over night, but found it not charging at all in the morning "Charging is not support with this accessory" while I used the original iphone wall charger. I managed to save a few things on iTune before the last bit of battery run out, ie iTune did recognise it, but just not charging. It worked perfectly fine until the phone switched itself off when there's no power left.
I then cleaned the usb port and the earphone plug, left it in rice, reboot my macbook while iphone's plugged in etc, but nothing worked! I then took it to our local mobile repairers. They changed the usb port and battery etc, but couldn't find what's wrong with it! I then had to drive one hour to our nearest apple store, but the Genius said as non-apple authorised person had a go at it, then they can't repair it. He told me he thought its a water damage, although the water sensors are not flagged up, none had I soaked it in any liquid. But I did take it into bathroom while I had my shower the day before it died (just once in its whole life).
Now I have a high-tech brick, that doesn't do anything....
Help please!!!When you tried everything and it still doesn't charges, you might consider buying a case which has an external battery in it. than you will have to charge the case and when you put your iPhone in it, it will work. It's not a very good solution and it isn't very pretty around your phone, but it's way better than an iPhone that doesn't work

It is an unlocked iPhone purchased directly from one of Apple store online in Asia.
I am currently traveling in Asia and using a local SIM card.
All of a sudden today, it will not charge on my laptop. It still charges on the wall plug. I suspect that it has to do with me plugging the phone into another public but older PC (running Windows XP) - was attempting to charge my phone but that public PC did not show that it was charging or recognizing the iPhone.
It will not charge or sync no matter what I do. I tried using the power button + home button. I tried holding the home button then plugging in the USB cable. I tried erasing all the data on the phone. All of the above failed.

Since you have changed the battery yourself, you should get it looked at by an authorized Apple Repair Shop.
Battery replacement should be done be authorized and trained personal only, sorry.
