Iphone 3GS freezing after last update with iOS 4.1

I updated my iphone last month and started having problems.
Iphone get freez multiple times a day, I nnede to hard boot it all the time.
Screen flicker in size, letter are cutting on the margines.
As soon as I opens any application the picture slightly zoom in and then zoom out once by itself. I have to wait for few seconds to get screen scroll.
I am not sure what happening.
I have reset teh iphone multiple time.
Any help please?

I am having a lot of issues syncing anything to my iPhone 4, just after i updated to iOS 5.

So i updated to ios 5 and i was having issues with everything. my photos and contacts and everything synced alright, but none of my music worked. so i restored it back to just after i updated to ios 5, and my music and ringtones and everything was working. but now, when i try to apply the ringtones - and some of them are even purchased - it plays what the ringtone is, but it just stays as marimba. any other default ringtones work, but none of my custom ones. do i have to keep restoring my iphone every time i want anything on it? cuz im worried ill ruin all my progress if i restore it again. when will an update be out, or does anyone have a solution?

Iphone 3gs freezes after updating

my son has reset his iphone 3gs from the phone settings, i have not got a clue what OS version was on it, it was reset because his sister borrowed it and put a load of girlie music on it, now it just sits with apple logo and a frozen timer, there is a thin white line about a centimetre down on the screen running from the center to about a centimetre from the right side of the sceen, unit then shuts down and then restarts only to do the same thing again, wont show in i tunes version 5.0, was in perfect working order untill this issue, anyone know how to sort this out, Help please

IPhone 3GS freezes after 4.3 upgrade

2 days ago I upgraded my iPhone 3GS (factory unlocked) from 4.2.1 to 4.3. After this upgrade, the iPhone freezes and crashes constantly. Sometimes when typing the lock code, when starting any given app, when touching any button, everytime within one minute after restoring. When the phone is working, it gets no network (just WLAN). Provider is Vodafone.
After each crash, a full restore is required (which takes a lot of time), just to work for another minute or so. Using a different SIM card from O2 helps by not crashing, but all 3rd party apps do not work.
Going back to 4.2.1 did not work at all (tried all options), going back to 4.1 did not give me access to my backup.
This situation is a nightmare if you rely on your phone. And it seams I am not the only one having this issue. Just search for "iOS 4.3 3GS crash Vodafone".
When can I expect a patch of iOS 4.3 ?

Iphone 4S speaker gone since updating with ios 6

I updated my iphone 4S with ios 6 updates and since then the speakers are gone. I can't hear the phone ring or put on the speakers. There seems to be some glitch in the ios 6 and apple needs to fix it fast. The phone is , well, almost useless without speakers. Can anyone suggest alternative ways of fixing it.

A reset should clear this up, press and hold the home and power buttons for 15-20 seconds until the white Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't resolve it, a restore as new will.
If neither resolves, you have a serious hardware issue.
Downgrading the iOS is not supported and may have damaged the device beyond repair. It may have also voided your warranty.

Try reconnecting with App Store to see if there is yet another update available, if yes, update your mac to the latest Apple is offering at the moment.
As for slow downs and freezes, try these steps:
1. Run Disk Utility and Repair Permissions then verify / repair disk if needed.
2. Next Follow these steps:
Shut down your Mac.
Turn on the computer and immediately hold down Command (⌘), Option, P, and R keys simultaneously.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
3. If all else fails download and run "Onyx" for Mountain Lion.

IPhone 3GS freezes randomly and left with black screen with stripes

Have an iPhone 3GS currently running on ios 6.
It was freezing a few times a day (or more) while under ios 4 so I upgraded and did a full clean restore and have only downloadded a few apps since.
But the issue still happens. I have lots of battery life and I can be playing a game (without wifi), or web browsing, or downloading something from iTunesU and it just decides to stop working - although it hasn't happened while on a call if that helps. Screen goes black and usually has stripes on it. Resetting doesn't work, although I try, but have found if left alone for 20 mins I can then restart it again. I have no apps running in the background, and have follwoed the usual steps to get it started again. Very annoying and neither a clean restore nor software upgrade has fixed the problem.
Any ideas on what I can do - or if this is a hardware problem??

I am not sure what you mean by "white strips" but have you tried to pull the firmware file and place it in DFU Mode and restore as new?
Skip Step #2 in this article, TS1813 - Support - Apple and change all the word "iPod" to "iPhone" then use this, iClarified - iPhone - How to Put an iPhone Into DFU Mode to place in DFU Mode. If this does not fix it, the iOS needs to be serviced.

Screen Freeze after last update

On my late 2011 imac 21.5" I have been getting a consistent problem since the last OS update. After the screensaver comes on, or, if left to sleep by it's own devices, either my screensaver freezes or the gray screen won't recover from sleep. If I move the cursor with the trackpad it clears the gray screen where the cursor moves around. I can usually clear enough that I can hit the login button and log in after pushing the power button. This is a new phenomenon since the latest OS update. Any help would be appreciated.

Can I really be the only person having this problem? I have dl'd the combo pack for the update & I'll install it this evening and see if that makes a difference. Again, any insight would be appreciated.

My iPad closes apps frequently after last update to iOS 5

I have an iPad 2 and before I've done the update to get iOS 5 it hasn't happened. I think it is a problem with the new system.
My sister says the same thing happens with her iPad too.
Does anyone knows how to fix this?

You could try closing all apps completely and then do a reset and see if that helps. To close all apps : from the home screen (i.e. not with any app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of each app to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
To reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

3GS freezing after recent update?

I haven't had a problem with this before I installed the latest software update, but now my phone freezes for a few minutes every once in awhile (and it seems to be getting more often).
Any suggestions?

try resetting your iPhone by following this article:

Make sure you read the backing up information in that article as well before restoring to make sure all your info is backed up so you don't lose anything important.

Trying to backup an iPhone 3gs so we can update the iOS. Old computer does not appear to back up contacts and notes (there are many). Is there a way to make sure they are backed up?

Also, everytime we sync, emails delete from the iPhone. We don't want them to. Is there a setting to prevent this from happening?

Contacts are not part of the backup. Those should be synced with a compatible address book on your computer. Notes can sync with a mail account.
No idea what you mean about emails deleting from the phone when you sync. E-mail messages are not synced with anything but the mail server. Only account information is synced.
