Iphone 3GS frozen on screen with itunes logo and USB cable
hey
my iphone 3GS has frozen on the screen with the itunes logo and a USB cable this happened right after trying to update it , which for some reason failed. i have tried restoring it and downloading the new itunes any help would be brilliant.
also anyone else find itunes and windows 7 dont work ?

the same thing has happened to me!
today 25th feb @ approx 10pm (melbourne time)
itunes goes "hey u gotta update ur iphone" so i do
and then it takes ages and ages, and then its like backing up iphone, and then it goes bump bump error, some ****, and then i go mmkay, and then the phone has frozen on this image the same thing the guy above has said!
*** am i ment to do, restarting dont help!
im on vista 64bit.

- If ou can turn the iPod off, then see if manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode will allow a restore. Next try DFU mode.

ThanksWhat happens when you connect the iPod to your computer and try to restore via iTunes? The screen is telling your to connect the iPod to your computer with the USB cable and restore via iTunes.

I bought Apple TV 3rd generation a couple days ago. It was no problem in the first day.
I freshly installed iTunes on my computer and tried to learn about Home Share. Next day,it was locked this screen and I cannot move any other screen. The LED light on the front is glitting in fast. I've tried,
1. Holding 'Menu' and 'down' butten for reset.
2. Disconnecting power cable
3. Turning off the router
After that if I reconnect to TV, it shows same.

If your problem persists get yourself a micro USB cable (sold separately), you can restore your Apple TV from iTunes:
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Devices list, and then click Restore.
(You may already have a micro USB cable if you have a camera or other digital device) -

i was trying to update my iphone 3gs to ios 6 and then on my iphone screen comes up with a itune logo and usb cable i tryed turning it of conecting it back to the computer and notting happens what do i do how do i fix this problem
mine has done the same thing. itunes isnt even recognizing that my phone is plugged in.

I just tried updating the most recent software on my 3GS (on my Mac) but it said the updated on my phone failed. Now my phone is frozen and only showing the itunes logo and USB cable. When I connect to the USB lead, its says: iTunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode. You must restore this iPhone before it can be used with iTunes.
Have I lost all the data on my phone?
What should I do?

Your Device is in Recovery Mode and needs to be connected to the Computer you Usually Sync with.
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...

tried synching iphone for the first time on new PC and got error followed by itunes logo and USB cable picture. No idea what went wrong and now phone is in this screen locked. please help!
I tried connecting to iTunes and neither the PC nor iTunes recognizes the device. I went through all the troubleshooting on the Apple website for this issue and nothing worked. I've reinstalled iTunes, the driver, everything and still can't get either the PC or iTunes to recognize the phone. I don't know what else to do :-( any help or suggestions are highly appreciated!
I would hate to have lost all my info, especially contacts and calendar items since I have no idea what was backed up prior to the phone getting locked on this screen. I've been told that my only option is to go to the phone carrier and they will reset it for me, but that means it will wipe out all the info.
I hope someone has a fix other than that one. -

Place your device in recovery mode as explained here:

iPAD shows itunes logo and usb cable with arrow after that it switch off itself
If the Restore doesn't work, force your iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
