Hello Everyone,
My iPhone 3GS got wet in rain and when i switch it on the home screen appears zoomed. Can anyone help me out to fix this issue. Is this issue can really be fixed?.

Did you let it dry out for a week or so?
Turning it on wet will likely finish it off.
If it is dry, then double tap with three fingers.

If your phone is in recovery mode, you've already lost ALL of the data on the phone. Your only choice now is to restore it from your most recent backup. There is a limit to how many free accounts can be created on a device - you will either need to use of the accounts that's already been created on it, or create another one on a different device/computer

hi there please help me out i have been using iphone and my 4s got wet in rain and after that issue i got a problem that my speaker are not working for music and videos but my ringtone rings and i could hear my calls in loudspeaker and then after sometime it rectifies itself and becomes normal...... then again if i switch off and switch on i get the same problem ...... what should i do ??? is it a common problem ???? i have tried dock cleaning with qtip and kept in the rice bag........ does anyone know a solution for it???

No other way. They will probably want to swap the phone out for you for a fee of some sort of course. I wouldn't suggest self repair because at this point you really don't know what the issue is. Maybe its something to do with the speaker, or maybe the logic board is damaged.
If you think the phone might still be a little damp or wet inside, try putting it in a bowl of rice for a day. The rice may be able to suck out the moisture which could possibly be causing an intermittent issue.

Iphone 5 got wet, now apple logo keeps blinking and phone is unresponsive. When I try to restore it I get error code 21 then on another computer I get error code 2006.

My iPhone 5 got wet and I dried it out for 3 days. Now when I charge it the apple logo keeps blinking. Phone is unresponsive, so I tried to restore it but got error code 21. Tried on another computer and got error code 2006. Any suggestions, or is it impossible to get it back?

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. At this point it's likely that the iPhone has suffered damage and you'll have to take or send it to Apple for replacement. If you have AppleCare+ coverage on the iPhone, the cost will be US $49. Otherwise the cost will be US $229.

Iphone 3gs got very hot and wont charge

I have had my iphone 3gs for about a year and a half. last night I left it on a 3rd party wall charger while I slept, which I bought a week ago and have been using since. I woke up 4 hours later to find my phone was so hot i couldn't hold it. No joke it was as hot as my wood burner gets when its been running all day. It also had no charge.
Now my screen shows it needs plugged into a charger, and when I plug it into a charger it shows it is plugged in with a dead battery (red empty battery and a lighting bolt). after about a minute the apple icon comes on the screen and sits there for about 5-10 minutes before it turns back off, and shows the red empty battery with the lightning bolt. If i leave it plugged in it just keeps repeating this cycle.
I have used a docking station to try and charge, as well as 3 different usb cables plugged into my computer. I have reset the phone repeatedly today for hours with the power button and home button held in for 10 seconds. I have even put the phone in DFU mode and restored to factory settings with itunes. While plugged into the computer, itunes didnt even recognize my phone until i put it in DFU mode, then itunes popped up and restored. when it rebooted after restore it just continued with the cycle of turning on and off, showing its plugged in with a dead battery.
I cant go to an apple store with a warranty because I have broken this phones screen multiple times and taken it apart to successfully fix it. Last time I replaced a screen was a few months ago so I know that me disassembling the phone is not relevant to todays problem.
Has anyone else had this problem, or any suggestions to get my phone to charge and turn on completely?

Yes, I had this problem. I even phoned apply up & they never knew what it was. Or a solution, but if it's the same problem as I had, then I have a simple, but annoying solution. What happens is the iPhone overheats (normally whencharging and being used, so it stops charging to stop itself from melting. To make thephone charge again try holding it under a fan to cool it. Like I said it worked for me :)

My iPhone 4 got wet couple of days ago,i tried putting it in rice,it didnt work,its giving an iTunes symbol when i connect it to the mains and then it turns off immediately after i remove it from the mains , so i think it is dead , i want to replace it but i live in lebanon and i dont have an apple store in my country , so i am going to send it to canada via dhl where my friend will receive it and send it to the apple store for replacement, is it 100% guaranteed that if i pay 200$ + tax they will replace my water damaged iPhone ?since i need to pay 100$+ for dhl to send it to canada, so it is going to cost me a lot ,and do i have to send it with its box and accesories ? or just the iPhone ? i bought the iPhone 20 days ago , i barely used it . Because this question has been asked and answered over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Spending just a moment or two searching these forums would have served 2 purposes:
1) you would have gotten your answer much faster
2) you wouldn't have cluttered this forum up with repeated posts.

Is it charged? If so try a reset by pressing and holding the sleep/wake button and the home button for 20 seconds (maybe longer) until the Apple logo appears, ignore the red slider. Then turn back on. You won't lose any data doing the reset. If it's not charged, charge it via a wall socket for a least 30 minutes then try the reset again.

I have already tried holding down the power button and home button for 10 seconds, but no difference.

I've had this problem on and off for the last few weeks (around, but not directly related, to upgrade to 6.1...can't remember if was before or after)....I'm very convinced it's a software problem (as there have been times when the bottom row works perfectly, without any need to "press" differently or anything).
However, it seems to be a rather resilient software issue, as a full restore does not consistently fix it, and it applies to more than just the keyboard; if I open a drawing app, there's definitely a row (about 4mm up from the edge of the screen closest to home button) where I cannot draw.
It's happened 4 times now. Originally it went away with a restore from backup, then worked for 2 more days. The second and third times, it went away with a full restore (although I did two full restores in between those two restores that did nothing, so restore didn't consistently fix it)....and it seemed to return in the most random of circumstances.
I paid very close attention to what apps I was using the last time it was working so that I could spot which app, if any, might be causing the issue. I deleted several apps, I stopped using the games and many other apps. I only used three apps between it working fine and starting up as a problem again: mail, safari and messages.
I was convinced it was mail, as it happened this morning when I picked up my phone off the bedside table to respond to a new email. It was working when I went to bed. I picked up the phone when it buzzed, hit the email app, hit reply and started to type....**** bottom row wasn't working again.
However, tonight I did 2 things....one of them worked because it went back to normal (sorry, I don't know which as I was exasperated and trying a number of things).
The two things I did between a broken keyboard and a working keyboard were:
1) adding a second keyboard (English(Canada)), changing to this keyboard, and changing back
2) disabling Siri...and then turning it back on...and then disabling Siri's "Raise to Speak"
In retrospect, I wonder if it actually was the "Raise to Speak" that was putting the phone into a weird state, and might explain why the phone would just "suddenly" start behaving strangely when I picked it up. Of note, the "raise to speak" hasn't actually triggered Siri to come on in months anyway.
Regardless, the keyboard is back to normal now...and I'm just going to leave "Raise to Speak" off. I've put the keyboard back to just "English" with no alternates and Siri remains on otherwise without issue.
