Iphone 3GS- How do you get the pictures to show up larger when someone calls? I know this seems trivial but I have difficulty seeing, so one of the reasons I actually purchased this phone was for this feature. When the photos do come up they come up in the top right corner in small boxes / windows. I already google'd this topic and they suggested importing the photos - to itunes and than directly on to the iphone, I did this and it didn't work. Additionally I took a few test photos from the iphone and tried setting them to contacts. This didnt work either. I looked in settings and could not find anything that discussed this issue. Although I do believe I have seen iphones that ring with large pictures. Am i Crazy?
You aren't crazy.
Adding the photo to contacts on the computer gets you the smaller pix when people call.
Assign the photo on the phone itself and you get full-size pix.
Additionally I took a few test photos from the iphone and tried setting them to contacts. This didnt work either.
So, that certainly should work. Try it again? Try it with a brand new contact, maybe it is not overwriting a previously existing picture.
I suppose there is a small possibility that Apple thought this differing behavior was a bug instead of a feature and "fixed" it with a recent update, but I doubt it. -

"Other" includes data such as iPhone settings, contacts, calendar events, Safari bookmarks/cache/cookies, email and email attachments, SMS/MMS/iMessages, notes, app data, Safari cache, cookies and bookmarks, stored passwords, search index, home screen organization, wi-fi network data, etc. It should normally be about 1 GB. Yours in an indication there may be corrupt data on your phone.

My ical is showing "on my mac" "iCloud" and "yahoo" calendars. I just want one calendar that will sync up to my iPhone. How can I get rid of all these Calendars??
'On My Mac' and Yahoo calendars won't sync to iCloud. You can move them to iCloud, but then Yahoo will lose contact with its calendars. if you are happy to sync onlly with iCloud, and thus to your iPhone, you can move the calendars: you will have to do it one at a time, and the process is just a trifle convoluted - it's described in the first set of numbered instructions here:

I plugged in my iphone today and saw that the "other" portion of my used space was at 7.82 gb! I'm not sure what this is exactly, but how do I get rid of it or make it saller because it is hoging up a ton of the space on my phone!
Note: I have been noticing that whenever I plug in my iphone to my Mac to sync it, the "other" data gets larger, just slightly. Is that normal?Restore from a backup will get you some 'other' back.

Photos synced to your phone can only be removed from your phone the same way they got there, through the iTunes sync process. Connect your phone, iTunes running, & under the photos tab remove the checks for all albums/folders you do not want on your phone. Hit the apply/sync button & they will be removed from your phone.

Since I have the iPhone4S I can't delete songs from the iPhone anymore, which I downloaded with the iPhone. I sync the iPhone with my library. That works perfect. But than I want to delete the songs on the phone. That doesn't work. Can somebody tell me how I can delete those songs?
You have to uncheck what songs you don't want in iTunes. I don't think you could delete songs off the phone direct, unless you had I tunes match.

I did a search for my question, but could not find my answer. When I delete my email from Comcast using my computer, I then do a update on my phone, but the emails are still on the phone. I am hoping that my phone will do an update and delete the emails that are no longer on my Comcast site. Can this be done easily? I know I can delete each one manually on my phone, but....

If it's Pop3, then you'll have to delete them on the iphone also.
If IMAP, then if you delete off your computer, then they should disappear off your iphone also
I suspect it's pop3. Google Mail, Apple's MobileMe and several others all have IMAP4 capable servers -
