Iphone 3GS is restarting and no texts or calls after iOs5

I got the iphone 3GS I just upgraded it 2 weeks ago to ios5. It's been giving me trouble since then. It's ok for a few days after that it starts to restart like every 3 mintutes. I can't make any calls or send text messages during this. I have restored it 1 week ago. Everything was fine but after a few days again it started the same thing. I am now restoring again and deleted my copy of ios5 on my computer. I hope they release an update for it. I called Apple about it they said they have got alot of complaints about it. I hope they release a patch for it. It seems to be something to do with the charging system. It acts up when i turn it off for the night to charge it. I kept it on for the last 2 days and it was fine, today I ran out of battery life. I plugged the phone in and the restarts started again.
Check for debris in the receiver, use a stiff brush and give it a lil clean. Also, if you have a case on your iphone, try removing it. Any case that comes over the top of the iphone and gets any where near the receiver can cause issues with sound and the proximity detector. Even if you don't think it covers the receiver, still try removing it and test... 8 times out of 10, this is the issue.

IPhone 3GS signal drop and late texts.
My IPhone 3GS seems to have random signal loss, in places where it has previously had good signal. I have noticed that there is no pattern to where I lose signal, but it is reletivley frequent.
My iphone also sometimes does not recieve texts sent to me for a couple of hours after they were sent. It does not always happen, but I can have as many as five texts come through hours late.
If anyone is having similar problems and/or has found a solution for this, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Best advice is to take it to an Apple store: But is there one in Kuwait?

I had the same Issue on a 5 i bought. Exact same screen and writing. Battery was totally drawn, first thing I had to replace. The screen had been replaced and since then it wouldn't work anymore according to the previous owner.
It took me a couple hours, after recieving a few errors like 4013 it just never completed the restore, got really hot as well. The Flexwire of the Dock Connector seemed damaged, replaced the dock, but that didn't help.
I almost gave up, thought the Logic Board was bad.
BUT! Then i deceided to check if it has anything to do with the Screen assembly, and it did.
Long story short, on mine the front facing camera, and sensor assy were bad.
Anyhow, the phone works ''perfect'' when i leave them unplugged. So I just ordered a new one and we will see if thats the problem or if the damage is in the Logic Board.
If so, i can live without the sensor and front cam.
Just wanted to share, good luck everyone. -
I bought iPhone 3GS(Used) recently and updated ios 6.1.3 my iPhone is taking blurry Pictures through basic default Cam app.Can anybody please let me know any solution for this?
Basic troubleshooting steps right out of the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. If you've been through ALL the steps and you still have the problem, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for evaluation.

Ok I have noticed alot of the same posts but my iPhone 3Gs is restarting every second not minute. It started when I went to restore my phone cause i saw for some odd reason i had over 2gb of memory being waisted by "other" what ever makes that up, anyways so after i restored it I told it to restore from back up ever since then it keeps restarting. help please :-/ ???
Then the next step is to try the process again, this time restoring as a new iPhone rather than from backup. (The restore may not have worked if the source of the problem is contained in your backup.) If restoring it as new doesn't resolve the problem then it is probably a hardware problem and you will need to take it to the Apple store for evaluation. I would save a copy of your backup to your desktop before proceeding so it isn't accidently overwritten. If it is a hardware problem and you end up replacing the phone you will want to restore your new phone from this backup in order to keep your data and settings. You will find the backup at one of these locations:
Mac OS: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Windows XP: %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Windows Vista: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup

What file did it say was corrupt? What error number? What is showing on your phone right now? What version of iTunes? What kind of computer?

I just bought a (used) Iphone 3gs for wife and it had angry birds and $89 Navigation on it (I paid extra for it). Once updated and logged into my I-tunes it no longer works? How can I make those apps work?

When you purchase content in the app store, you purchase a license to use the content. This license does not permit you or anyone else to resell or give this content away. The individual you purchased the phone from simply does not have the right to sell or give away any purchased content on the phone. You were deceived.

My iPhone 3Gs has frozen and I can't do anything except turn it off by hard boot. When I plug it in, I have the apple icon and that is all. It was at 43 percent battery life when it happened and my Twitter app was giving me problems. Thoughts?

Hey guys. My IPhone 3GS is unlocked and i went to update the software and it said that an unknown error has occurred and said it needed to be restored to connect with Itunes. When i got to restore it, it gets about 3/4 of the way done, says an unknown error has occured(1015). I have no clue what to do and all and any help would be amazing.
