IPhone 3GS, running ios5 successfully for weeks, cannot send a message without the messaging app immediately crashing. I have restored, updated, turned on and off, still cannot receive or send texts. Please help!
I originally restored my phone after music and videos iTunes said had synced were not showing up on my phone - sorted that problem, now this.
This may sound dumb, but if you can't send or receive any texts at all, someone in another thread mentioned shutting down, taking out the SIM card, reinserting, and rebooting. If that doesn't work try putting the SIM in another phone then putting it back in the iPhone. If it still doesn't work ask the provider for a new SIM.
Also, I don't understand why iPhone doesn't allow MMS without data. MMS was DESIGNED to be sent as a text message and it works on regular "dumb" phones with no data. This is not new technology yet iPhone is purposely blocking it. That is ridiculous. You can see from the following table that this is what Apple wants:

(As a side note, you can also see from the table they are intentionally blocking the ability to send a text to an email address even though that too is not a new feature, and that too works in other phones.)

Help with syncing an iPhone 3GS running iOS5 to a new MBA running Lion
Just got a new MacBook Air running Lion (10.7.2) and I thought I'd sync my iPhone 3GS (Running iOS5.0.1) to it.
I have an iMac running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and my 3GS is currently synced with that. (Both running iTunes 10.5.2)
Whenever I plug my iPhone in a hit sync, it doesn't do anything. If I tick Sync Music/Apps etc. it says that all music/apps will be erased on my iPhone and replaced with the ones on the MBA. There aren't even any on the MBA. And when I tick the "Sync Apps" the iPhone homepage layout changes/deletes some Apps which worries me so I haven't actually tried syncing after clicking it (I've spent hours getting my homepage set up correctly after restoring...I really don't want that on Christmas...).
So what shall I do? Try syncing anyway? I bet this wouldn't happen if it was running Snow Leopard! I'm pretty sure it should ask to copy all the songs and stuff across and then beg for authorization, which I did before even trying to sync.
Also, is there a way to deauthorize computers remotely? I have 4 out of 5 authorized, I only want my iMac and MBA.WTMF?
When I got my iMac, I synced to it with no problem (This was October 2010). Did they stupidly change this now? So, firstly I can't merge my iTunes account with my old MobileMe account, now this? This is getting ridiculous. What next? YouTube decide to completely rearrange the channel layout so you can hardly make it look how you want?
This new concept of Apple is terrible and doesn't make sense. I thought everything's supposed to be in sync? Mac OS was so much better when I was using a PC. Now I think I'd rather go back to PC.

ok, I did, and it said again congrats your iPhone is unlocked, but, when it said there was a new carrier update, I cancelled it, but, it asked me again, I cancelled again, I guess I'm scared it will lock it again if I allow the carrier update.
Oh, there it goes again, this time on the phone, arg. I hit update, I hope it doesn't freak out.
I'm glad I didn't destroy the SIM like I almost did. But, it will come out again, longer battery life with the cell portion turned off. -

Seems to be an Apple or FB app problem. Nothing you can do but wait for it to be fixed.

That is so dumb...Apple is the best and most techinological company IN THE WORLD and they don't have the time to invent something like that? HUH? All they are worried about is making the "Worlds best Phone" and they can't take the time out to help their users or anybody that has their products. All they have is "Find mt Iphone" Well they should step up and do something else to help people like me out. Find a way to turn it on and you can find it or find a way to turn it on remotely.

IPhone 3gs running ios5 crashes weekly.
I updated my 3gs to ios5 when the new software was released a few weeks ago but since then it crashes about every 2 weeks where the Apple logo comes up, the phone reboots then does the same thing 30 seconds later and keeps cycling.
The only way I seem to be able to solve it, is to do a system restore from iTunes which works but then the same thing seems to happen a week or 2 down the line again. This is very frustrating and I'm wondering if an App is causing this problem, however I have very few apps installed on it and nothing that I can think would cause a problem?!
Any help would be appreciated.

JonSimilar problem......but mine seems to be power related. Start off in the morning fully charged, then by noon it indicates charge is hardly down but it dies and cycles on the re-start. Bring it home, and discover it is dis-charged, so re-charge and it loads fine. You can't tell the battey status when it keeps re-booting. I think it might be location services or iCloud updates that drain it but that's just a guess

I posted similar problem last week. A lot of us XP users have been getting a runtime error message with no further explanation. There seems to be a conflict with the latest iTunes update and QuickTime. Finally found instructions for removing and reinstalling that has taken care of the problem. Go to

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6. You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google), or try accessing it via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

Lately I have been trying to download some apps but when i click install, the appstore comes up with a message saying that my apple ID can't be used in the iTunes store. This has hever happened to me before and when I go to the settings and the Appstore, then click see Apple ID, it doesn't open. Please help, I don't know what to do. Is this a bug from iOS7.0.4???

I have money on my iTunes account. I cannot purchase premiums for the games I play! Especially the Hobbit Middle Earth game. I get an error message saying there is a problem connecting to my iTunes account. I have changed my password and still cannot use the account. I have adobe premiere elements 10 and I am having some problems with it please help
So here are the problems I'm having with Adobe Premiere Elements 10:
1. Transitions will not load. The word loading pops up and it won't come up.
2. The videos won't play smoothly. When I press play it skipps in a way it won't play smooth which makes it really hard to edit.
3. Keeps closing out on me. It will have a thing that pops up that says "Adobe premiere elements has stopped working and closes out of the program. It does it constantly.
Please help me I don't know what is wrong with it.The first two issues sound like a video driver problem.
What is the make/model of your video card/chip?
What is the installed video driver number and date?
For the last issue, it could be many things, including the video driver. I'd look over this ARTICLE, and if there is nothing in the first part, then move on to tuning up the OS an computer in the second part. That would probably be a good time to post the full specs. of your computer, and also both your Project and Source footage. Finally, part three covers many troubleshooting tips, and furnishes many links.
