Iphone 3gs showing "No Service"
Suddenly my iphone 3gs is showing "No Service" always, first it happens when i was in travelling in train, but that it is permenantly happen when i am in network area also, as per the discussion i had with customer care, i have did all trouble shoot like
long press of power and home button till restart,
Airplane mode on/off,
reset net work setting,
reset all setting
and atlast i restored ios also.
still it says "no service"
my iphone IOS is 6.1.3
troubleshooted my iPhone 3gs, iOS ver. 6.1.3
"no service" or "searching.." before and after i changed my battery.
go to Settings>>Carrier>> turn off Automatic
then choose your carrier manually
solved my problem

Tap Settings / General / Reset / Reset Network Settings.
That will revert to factory settings but may help.

If doing a reset (hold the sleep/wake and home button until the Apple logo appears) doesn't correct it then try getting a new SIM from your carrier.

Did you try removing the SIM and inserting it again?
Have you spoken to your carrier about getting a new SIM?
Have you tried the basics from the manual? Restart, reset, restore -
iphone 3gs shows activation required, hooked up to iTunes and it is not recognized. Did the restore but just gets to the end and gives an error message it could not be restored, an unknown error occurred (-1). Can someone assist me in next steps please?
Instructions to get the phone back working temporary.. till there is a real fix.
1. turn off the phone
2. fire up iTunes
3. press and hold the home button, plug in the cable, hold till you get to see the recovery mode
4. iTunes will the allow to choose restore the phone back to 5.0.1 ( no other choice)
5. iTunes will then ask you to choose which previous backup to would like to recover.
(note: please do not reboot your phone unless necessary, i realize at times after reboot, it goes back to sq1) -
My Iphone 5s shows "No Service" in the specific network area, but if the same sim card is used with other mobiles in the same network area, it shows good network.. i did restore,change sim card, reset all the settings but still not working... please help me..

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

My Iphone 3gs shows I have only 400mb of available memory, when I have only about 30 apps, and none are really all that large. Also, I have no videos nor no music. It is 8GB.
Can anyone help?Delete the content that is filling it up. Text messages, iMessages, SMS, emails, Safari Cache; essentially all data for all of the built in apps. If that doesn't clear it up, which if it says it's 8GB I don't think it will, then restoring from a backup or restoring to factory default settings will clear that up.
