What do I do if I tried to update my iphones 3G software, and it is not telling me it is impossible to activate the iphone so its trying to activate it which it should not be since I only wanted to upgrade the software not to restart it. Any how if I connect it to itunes it will not activate it neither will it do it using wifi so at this point I really do not know what I should do

The phone was hacked to unlock it form the original carrier it was locked to. When you upgraded the iOS the phone relocked to the orginal carrier. You now need a sim card from the carrier to which it has locked to activate the phone and hten it can only be used with that carrier. Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.

Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated? If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore. Has any of that been tried?

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

The problem of 100% on your phone, as trying to change SIM cards of different operator and the problem remains.
Phone is constantly losing the signal during a call, and often just disabled.
I bought 5 phones for himself, his wife and friends, and only I have these problems.

Yes you will need to go back to France as the warranty is country specific except in EU countries. Or if you know anyone there they could take it to an Apple store if you posted it to them.

Updated iphone 3GS to IOS 5.01 and now I cannot restore or activate phone

Today I updated my stock iphone 3gs to IOS 5.01 from 4.3.5. All went well until I noticed that my apps had not be restored. I attempted to restore my phone in iTunes but now all I get is "There is a problem with your iphone" message appear in iTunes and on my device.
What can I do to restore the phone to working condition? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent the whole day upgrading the families iphones, ipods and ipad. The 32gb iphone 3gs has now crashed and is stuck in a loop of shwoing the Apple logo, then goes into the connect to itunes screen adn then back ot the apple logo. It will not power off, will not hard or soft reset and will not go into recovery mode.
I have trried all resets by being both connected to itunes and not. I have installed all latest itunes. I am using windows 7. I have also tried on another computer using viats, but no difference.
What now?

I am having (2) problems, 1. When I open Firefox, why do 6 to 8 multiple windows open? 2. I tried to update Flash, and now that window opens every time I launch Firefox with a drop menu asking me to install.

Problem 2: Every since I tried to update Flash this happens. I have done this 12 times, but it still keeps trying to open.

I'm having difficulty visualizing what is wrong but try some basic steps first:
Launch Safari while holding a Shift key - this will start Safari with just your Home page
If you can see Reset Safari from the Safari menu, try that.
In addition to downloading and installing Safari again, try reapplying just the Snow Leopard Combo Update: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 There is no need to uninstall Safari first.
Lastly try deleting Safari's Preferences file: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist

The best way to backup your iPad is the way that makes the most sense in your situation and the way that works best for you. There is no hard and fast answer. But since you asked .....
I prefer using iTunes because I don't have to worry about having enough space available in iCloud. You are allotted 5GB of space with the free iCloud account, but that is really not that much storage space at all. You can purchase more space, but IMO, its crazy to pay for cloud storage if you have your own computer. On top of that, you have more control when you use your computer. You can backup the content on your computer in order to have backups of backups. You can't do that with iCloud. Another disadvantage to using iCloud is that you always need to be connected to WiFi in order to backup to iCloud. Not everybody always has access to WiFi every minute of every day.

Sounds like your iPhone was previously hacked/modified/jailbroken and the
update relocked it to the original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that
wireless carrier can unlock it.
Where did you get this iPhone?
What wireless carrier are you attempting to use it with?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?

It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

Tried to update OS and now I just get code gibberish on start

I was/am on Mac OS X 10.6.7. The 10.6.8 update had downloaded, but I hadn't installed it. I decided to go ahead and do it today, along with a few other updates (such as iTunes). The OS was asked me if I wanted to Install, I said ok, it said I had to restart, I hit "restart". When it restarted, here is what I got:
The small little box in the middle tells me I need to do a hard restart by holding down the start button on the machine until it turns off, then restarting. I do this, and I get the same screen over and over.
Is my OS gone? Do I need to do a clean install?

Yes, I would do a clean install:
Drive Preparation and Reinstall
1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the installer. Install Snow Leopard.
