IPhone 3GS was syncing contacts to Google but stopped???
When I set up the sync process a few months ago I'm positive I tested bi-directional sync between Google Mail, Calendar, and Contacts. The other day I noticed my Contacts are only syncing one way - from Google to iPhone!?
Calendar and Mail are still just fine. What did I do? Or what can I do to correct?
Help please and thank you!
Anyone have some help pointers on this problem please?

My iPhone 3GS was recently stolen. I can't find the box and it has not been synced to my computer in a long time. I just use it as an iPod now. I have the IMEI but not the serial number. Is there a way that I can get the serial number using the IMEI number. Thanks

You should be able to sync your 3GS to your computer and make a backup. Then connect your iPhone 4S and restore from a backup. This should effectively move all your data to your new device. Report back if you have any problems.

If your contacts are synced to your computer then they are in the supported app you are syncing with.

In Itunes it is set to automatically sync to the laptop and in info sync contacts is checked and all contacts are checked.On my Mac Pro, contacts and Thunderbird contacts are synced. I want my Iphone to sync with the Contacts on the Mac Pro. Incidently I am not using Icloud. Is that the problem?

I hate Apple maps, will Marvericks give me option to sync contacts with google maps?
Will Mavericks let me sync contacts with google maps or require sync to Apple Maps as does i0s7. I hate Apple maps.
I have exactly the same issue. I updraged my iphone4 to iOS 5.0.1 and iTunes to version 10.5.2.11. I'm also running Windows7, but 32bit.
And I can also confirm this used to work both ways.
Good thing is that the iTunes backup and restore kept the new iPhone contacts on my device during the upgrade. But they are still not syncing to google.
So the bad news is that its broken and has been for some time now.

Thank You roaminggnome, I don't think I turned Find My Phone app on on my phone, but I did turn it on on my laptop. I deleted my contacts list and Hope that Iit somehow deleted my contacts list on my phone. Also, I turned on Find My Phone on my laptop and it says my phone is turned off. So I think that whoever stole my phone took out my Sim Card and replaced it with theirs or that they sold my phone for Crack. I hope my phone hasn't been restored. Ty for your response Roaming. why my iPhone 3gs cannot sync to itunes? after i click synced, the phone seemed to sync to itunes but when it's about to complete, itunes cancelled the sync. WHYYYY? I've been having this problem since i've updated my iPhone to iO5.
Two things to try:
If you have a Windows computer open a Command window and type:
netsh winsock reset
If this doesn't fix it, or if you have a Mac, your current backup may be corrupted. Delete it by going to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab, highlight the backup and delete it.
And if this still doesn't fix it, you may have a badly corrupted backup. Delete it manually by going the the Backup folder and deleting everything in it. You can find it as follows:
Mac OS: ~Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
Windows XP %AppData%\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
Windows Vista and Windows 7: %AppData%\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup -

My IBooks will not sync PDF content with my IPhone. It syncs the collection title but no content. Both devices are set to sync collections? Any ideas how to fix this?
The 'sync collections' setting does not copy books or PDFs between devices - all it does is if you have the book on both devices and you move it into a collection on one of them, then it will be put into the same collection on the other device.
You will need to sync each PDF that you want on your phone. If you don't currently have them on your computer then connect your iPad to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy them over (that should copy PDFs and/or epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just actual ibooks), and if using a Mac with Mavericks on it do File > Move Books From iTunes in the iBooks app on it, and you can then sync them to your iPhone.
