IPhone 3GS Windows 7 64bit Driver ??

I'v recently installed Windows 7 64bit on my new Dell Vostro Laptop. I also installed iTunes 9.0.3 and everything seemed to work okay with iTunes.
My problem however is that i cannot access the device as I could on Windows XP through Windows Explorer. When i connect my iPhone it tries to install a MTP Device driver which fails. When i try and install the driver in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers - it says the best driver is already installed - but does not function.
I have googled this error and found various workarounds / fixes of which none actually work.
Does anyone have anything on this ? or know of anything i could try ?

I have the same problem with Lenovo laptop and Win7 64bit. I have been working with Apple support for several weeks with no reolution yet. I did find this today, which may work for you

After much some reasearch I fixed this problem for my problem computer. I have two computers running Windows 7 64-bit, one working with iCloud contact/calendar sync and the other getting this "0x8004010F: ZebraMapiCopySession::CreateMobileMeMessageStore: CreateMessageService failed" error (when you look at the report data to Apple).
So when I compared my system to a working system, I found that there was a difference in the bit-named DLL used by iCloud.
Go to Outlook, File, Options, Add-Ins and in the Active Application Add-ins section highlight "iCloud Outlook Addin". You'll find the DLL name there.
On my working computer, it was APLZOD6432.DLL, while on my problem computer it was APLZOD32.DLL. Ah ha! Its trying to setup Outlook 64 with a 32-bit iCloud DLL. Or so I thought.
I looked for a 64-bit specific install for iCloud. Nope, iCloud 1.1 is for both. Hmmm...
I thought I had installed Office 2010 64-bit on my problem computer, but apparently I installed 32-bit. I was able to confirm this by going into Outook, File and Help. Under "About Microsoft Outlook" it said 32-bit. Checking the working computer, it was showing 64-bit Outlook.
So this also brought another thought to my mind. Maybe the problem is because I installed the iCloud control panel before I installed Office 2010. That said, I uninstalled iCloud Control Panel (Add/Remove Programs), and re-installed it from the manual download page http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1455 and tried contact syncing again. It worked!
Then I went to check the DLL in use. It was APLZOD32.DLL. So perhaps iCloud sets up for 64-bit Office when no office is installed on Windows 7 64-bit and breaks when you install 32-bit. Or there is a part of iCloud install that needs to be done with Office installed. Either way, I'm happy to have the issue fixed. Leaving the 32-bit Office there for now.

Windows 7 64bit driver support for GX623

Hi, i have GX623 laptop (CPU:Intel Core 2 Duo P8400; RAM: 4GB ), i am interested why there is no Windows 7 64bit driver support for this model ? I really would like to run some 64bit software on it.
If my laptop hardware support it why MSI don't release drivers so my software can also support it. In some 32bit drivers there are some 64bit drivers but still not all for complete functionality.
On some older posts from 2009 I see responses that windows 7 64bit is very new so that's the reason for no driver support but in 2011 surely that is not the case.
Can we expect 64bit drivers for Windows 7 in near future or support for 64bit software isn't planed for this model?

So is it officially GX623 supported for Windows 64bit install because I still don't see any drivers for Windows 7 64bit or maybe Windows 7 64bit don't need any drivers?

I neglected to say that I tried updating the driver from the Device Manager device window and the result was a message saying it could not find a newer driver, that the one installed was correct.

I also did not say that I have uninstalled the device, through Device Manager. Upon restarting the system, the drive was found and software installed but the problem remains.

It appears that the Creator install installed part of the driver but not one that functions. It might be a problem with Windows 7 or the fact that this install is 64 bits.
I have searched the HP site and can't find a driver for the device. When I look at the list of drivers available for this system, the optical drive is not shown.
I downloaded and installed the HP driver search program - or whatever it is called - and ran it. There were no devices listed on "Optical Drive" tab when I looked at the results - it could not "see" the drive.
I realize that what I need is probably a generic driver from MS, that's why one is not shown on the HP site, but how do I go about finding the right one for this device?
Is there a generic "one size fits all" driver for Windows 7 which can drive this device?
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Where can I get a Windows 7 64bit driver for my LaserJet CP1215?

According to the product info, my LaserJet CP1215 is supported under Windows 7 64bit:

Audigy 2 Value and Windows 7 64bit driver don't work

my first Audigy SE before Audigy 2 Value (SB0400) worked perfect on Windows 7 64bit
with Audigy 2 Value SB0400 i tried 3 drivers , including the beta from the creative support , original and daniel_k driver and after reboot the windows hangs at LOGO and stays there.

This card is very old now. What Daniel K. did was take all of the applications or most of them, and tweaked them to properly install and include themselves in the registry on operating systems other than Windows XP. If the application you want is not included in his package, then you can try downloading the official Creative version and install it on your system in "compatibility mode" by right clicking the file, and choosing properties, and then the compatibility tab and choosing "Windows XP service pack 2 or 3" and it may or may not function.

Iphone 3GS - windows 7 - syncing problems with windows live mail

I brought a new iphone 3gs last week and tried to sync it with my new dell PC running windows 7 (with windows live mail).
It wouldnt sync, so I read the forums and reset the sync history through itunes.
This worked, and synced my iphone to the computer. It appears to have backed up all my contacts on the iphone to somewhere on the PC (cant find where) but it hasnt copied the contacts from windows live mail to the iphone
Have I confused anyone??

have you tried using imap instead?
if you can access your email from the web page then sounds more like a problem with windows live mail and not your BT account

Start with trying to put in your iPhone into recovery mode and then plug it in to iTunes and then follow the steps to restore it. If in recovery mode and still not getting anywhere, check with the article that you came from to troubleshoot it further.

PC Suite on Windows 7 64Bit driver fails

Hello,
I've got many problems with PC SUITE (last version) when I tried to connect my E75.
I've just installed windows 7 64bit Ultimate edition.
PC suite installs without any problem but drivers fails to install.
when I open PC suite there's no connection. The software updater doesn't work too, and ovi suite either.
I can only connect with E75 via bluetooth. but not with my cable.
I think 64 bit OS could be the problem. I tried to install in compatibility mode(VIsta or WinXP) but nothing change. When I open the proprieties on device manager it says "unable to start the device"
Someone has a solution???

Amazing, I can not connect my Z10 to my PC.
Windows find "RIM Network Device" but can't find a driver for it !!!
The software on the Z10 called "Device Manager" is not working.
To solve it I installed Blackberry Link.
But this is no good for development.

Same problem using computer with Windows 7 32bit, packging with Command Line tool. LINK found the device, packaging worked fine until trying to "blackberry-deploy -installDebugToken ...".

Grrrrrrr SOOOOOOOOOOO frustrated!!!!
FInally find something in the forum to connect my 1280 and it won't load (albeit by a hp employee but not on behalf of hp)! Has it been removed?
So fed up of restarting my laptop & printer and adding and removing. Updating Windows etc etc etc - spent £100 on hp printer ink and can't get my A3 1280 printer to work with my all singing all dancing laptop!!!!
Printer still works on my old dog of a PC but what use is that when I've retired the old dog!

ITunes not detecting iPhone 5, Windows 7 64Bit

Hey, so I have had this issue for a while now where iTunes simply won't detect my iPhone. I have tried the following:
1. Rolling back to an earlier version.
2. Following Apple's uninstall guide:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Then restart and reinstall (done this twice, installed older version and the latest)
3. Done step 2 but also deleted this registry key which is left over after uninstall:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SharedDlls]
"C:\\Program Files\\iPod\\bin\\iPodService.exe"=dword:80000000
None of these techniques are working. Currently i'm using iTunes 12.1.1.4 64-Bit on Windows 7 64-Bit, using iOS 8.2. The issue could lie with a service which refuses to start called: Apple Mobile Device Service. When every I try to Start the service I get the error:
The Apple Mobile Device Service service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.
Again, I have uninstalled and re-installed this multiple times and still not luck. Anyone got any ideas on what is going wrong!?

Nokia CS-15 and Windows 7 64bit driver

I've bought recently new notebook with Win7 64bit and Nokia CS-15.
After that I realized that CS-15 is currently not supporting Win 7 64bit.
So it cause my question if Nokia have plans to introduce such a dirivers and possibly when?

I have win 7 64 bit and nokia cs15, it was working fine for 4 months and now 2 days ago, when i was online it just stopped working, it does work on vista, but I want it to work on my win 7 64 bit computer.
I tried everything, the nokia cs 15 already has new software and firmware updated, I did it 4 months ago, that is how it was working for 4 months at first place.
Now I insert the modem and win 7 does not recognise it and it is not showing in usb plugged devices in device manager.
In vista and it recognises it and trying to install the software (as it does not have DNA software on vista) so after installing software and VISTA detects it and shows it as nokia modem plugged in USB device in device manager and it actually works and i can go online,
BUT when I try to UPDATE FIRMWARE, (on vista computer) the process says, insert Nokia cs 15 modem thought it is inserted and computer detects it and showing, the firmware update does not happen on vista either (i am not sure why, but i think it is already updated firmware 4 months ago? )
but either way, how can I make it work? because vista is my desktop and I need this for my laptop traveeling which is win 7 64 bit
Please help Please, it is been 2 days and I can not do my work.

My ipod touch is detected like an iphone under windows 7 64bits, why ocurr this?

i would like to know about my issue, what happens whit this ipod touch, sudently turned off and never turn on. i ve tryed to do a hard reset and when i connect the ipod touch to the computer with the itunes open, it says, itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode....bla..bla....
but is recognized like an iphone no like a ipod... even in the lastest itunes version.
