IPhone 4 32GB Having gaps between the screen and the antenna
im having this issue and the iphone is out of warranty
any way to fix it?
You can try recovery mode:
1. Start iTunes.
2. Disable all security apps (firewall, antivirus, etc.) running on your computer.
3. Plug phone into a USB port on the computer, not an external hub or keyboard port.
4. Press both the sleep/ wake and home buttons until the Apple logo appears, then continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes detects the phone in recovery mode.
5. Follow the prompts to restore.
If this doesn't work, there is a hardware problem the need warranty service from Apple.

iPhone 6. While talking on the phone, email interferes w/audio for other party. Email message pops-up on the screen and the other party cannot hear me until I click "close" & remove the message. Ideas??
Alex, thanks for the reply but it did not answer my question. I only want to turn off notifications & interruptions while I am on the phone. For this desired result, the only way the Do Not Disturb feature would help is if I manually turned it on before each phone conversation. Since my phone rings at random times, this is not possible. Basically, I just want to "opt out" of call-waiting. When I had a landline I never had call waiting. I don't want to be interrupted. But beyond that, even if I am being interrupted why are these notifications preventing the other party from hearing my voice?

I am wondering wehter you would be able to shed some lights on the follwoing and on how SAP handles below situations:
In SAP when loading up two documnts and try to add items to each using 'List of Items' screen, the systme is clever enough to return back the item code to the relevant screen.
I need to know that how SAP is holding this trail of formids when returning the select item code to fill in the document lines on the origianl caller doc.
Is it some kind of internal array structures or it could be a table in the database which contains the list of loaded forms on the screen and the revelant callee and caller ids.

The screen and the back of my sister´s iphone 4s poped out
It didn´t drop on the floor, when it was low on battery she went to charge it then after a while she notice it popped out of it case then she notice that the screen and the back popped out. and it can´t be pushed back into place.
we are out of the country at the moment, will they still fix it if the phone is not purchased in the same country?

You would probably save a lot of money by having a 3rd party repair company do the job for you instead. Just do a simple Google search for iPod repair and you'll get a plethora of results.

Depends on the damage. The battery came loose in my iPhone. When Apple opened the phone to redo the glue they discovered the speakers were also loose. Apple replaced the phone.
If the glue was properly bonded or had some other flaw Apple will replace the device if the device is still under warranty. -
I have a macbook pro 17". I love the big screen, but how can I change the display? The content takes about half of the screen and the fonts are very small. I am sure it is an easy fix, so please clue me in. Thanks

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce,yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem

09 I Mac goes asleep ends up with a spinning disk on the screen and the mac will not respond has to be rebooted
First this:
In EnergySaver deselect "put the hard disk to sleep when possible". You must logout after the setting to make this effective.
This probably will not solve it, but let it be deselected.
When the issue is still there:
Open Terminal;
copy/paste following command (after every command hit "enter" key)
pmset -g | grep hibernatemode
when the answer is not 3 write it down;
then copy/paste following command
sudo pmset -a hibernatemode 0
reboot
Open Terminal;
copy/paste following command
sudo rm /var/vm/sleepimage
after that type EXIT in Terminal and close Terminal.
This does following for you:
it will set the hibernatemode to zero: the sleepimage (a copy of the complete ram) will not be written and the space on the HD is freed up.
This sleepimage does not do anything for you but taking time at sleep/hibernate and startup. It is an old remnant of earlier days. -
I would like to make a movie of me speaking while doing a power point presentation. I have seen this done with the powerpoint embedded on the screen and the speaker doing the talking on the rest of the screen. Is it possible to do this in iMovie?

sure.
the ppt has to be some kind of 'video' iM supports.
so export it from with MS Office as a Quicktime movie, preffered with 'Animation' codec, or as appleintermediatecodec .. for quality reasons.
you need the Talking Head as a 2nd video.
then use iM's Pic-In-Pic feature to combine both videos as wanted.
I would suggest to do some editing (you full-screen, the ppt full-screen, perhaps 'close ups' of some charts, cut-aways to snoozing audience, etc) to 'pep' the video. for this purpose, it could be much esier to export each slide from within PPT as a jpeg and create the 'flow' in iM only... except, you need the ppt-animations ... but, who uses animations in a presentation anyhow ... ? -
While using IBOOKS I touched something on the screen and the screen went blank and I can't get back to normal IBOOKS screen. How do?
Try to reset your device:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally. -
Apple 10.7 lion - macbook does not turn off when plugged in. I put the laptop on "sleep" or close the screen and the computer stays on and stays hot! When you tap the text and the blue copy command appears... you must TAP the copy command to invoke it.
You can save it anywhere that you can paste something. Go to that place and tap again and the paste command should appear , then TAP paste.
I use Notes as a convenient temporary storage if I am not going to paste it right away and before I forget what I have copied!
Clipboard? I think of the clipboard as being my fingernail on my tapping finger!
