IPhone 4 32GB with yellow tinted screen

hello,
I have iPhone 4 32GB with yellow tinted screen. The provider STC in Saudi Arabia refuse to change it.. I've tried to complain them to apple but Icouldn't. So What should I do?

I am occasionally having the same issue.  Saw another post that suggested it might be caused by mail notifications.  This is unconfirmed.

Have iPod nano 4...has a yellow tint to screen toward top..have brightness turned up which makes it a bit better.
    How do I fix this??

The warning triangle is indicating possible poor printing on that particular image.
Most smaller images(i.e. book size) need 300 DPI for sharp images void of aliasing.
The warning triangle is indicating that you have zoomed and cropped this image past the point of ~300 DPI and the final output my not be as sharp as it could be and you may see aliasing.
Scale the image back down, i.e. bring some more pixels back until the triangle disappears... or close to it...

  • Apple Yellow Tint Screen

    Hi,
I know that this problem been discussed previously here, I bought my iphone from the UK and been using it for a few months and it was perfectly fine. Now I buy a new iphone in Dubai and the screen is yellow tinted!
I am really unsatisfied with the yellow tinted screen. The question I want to ask is, am I entitled to get a new iphone? I went back to the store exactly two hours after I bought it and they refused to replace it for me, claiming that this is Apple Policy
    Thanks,

  • Why some ipad 2 have yellow tinted screen? Can Apple give us an explanation?

    It's so obvious.
Every ipad2 showed to us in the stores has cool screen.
Yet what we got have warm ones with yellow tint.
This also happens on iphone 4 and 4s.
Is it quality issues or something else.
    Apple owe us an explanation.

Seeing as how Apple will have to answer your question, instead of posting it here on the user to user forum you really should post on it on the Apple feedback site,

How much is the exchange for iphone 5s with a broken screen? in Brazil charged me R $ 999.00

If the device has not been opened by anyone (other than Apple) then it can be replaced via the Out of Warranty replacement program, $269US for the 5, 5C, and 5S?
If it has been opened by anyone other than Apple, purchase a new device.

  • I have a iPhone 4S with a cracked screen and I believe it needs a SIM card. My question is how much would it be the cheapest way to repair it completely?

I have a iPhone 4S with a cracked screen and I believe it needs a SIM card. My question is what would be the cheapest way to repair it completely?

I would replace it out of warantee for the 200. but if you really need to save a few bucks
iphone repair store (craked glass) - $150
new sim card (if charged for one) - $20
but getting another one for 200 (through insurance) will give you a year warantee
    no insurance, no $200 option

  • IPhone 6 yellow tint screen

Hello. I have a yellow screen problem on my iphone 6. Exactly the same problem I had years ago with an iPhone 4. I searched the internet and can not find much information. Is it so strange an iPhone 6 ?. I want to change it, but do not want a refurbished . I have an iPad and two iPhones 4 and iPhone  6 Yellow is horrible. Attached photos.

Thank you for your feedback. I thought that this was a thing of the past.

White is white. You can catch a white sheet and compare. I can compare with my iPad / iPhone 4 or LCD computer, and see that there iPhone 6 terribly yellow screens. It is not a personal preference, it is a demonstrable fact.
And whether it is software or a bad temperature setting, you should know that Apple does not allow its configuration (Jailbreak 've heard that you can do something).
    Regards.

  • Brand new, white Verizon iPhone4, has a yellow tinted screen.

I just bought a brand new Verizon (white) iPhone and noticed the color of the screen had a warmer (yellowish) tint to it, comparing it my iPod4 which has a cooler (bluish) tint. I then compared it to a friend's AT&T iPhone4 and noticed he had the cooler  tint to it as well. We both had the brightness turned all the way up.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I really like the bluish look a lot more because the whites look more like whites.
I'm wondering if maybe my iPhone was color calibrated incorrectly or if this was done intentionally.

    Hi
How did it go with Apple customer care? Just wondering because I exchanged my white Verizon iPhone and I see it exactly the same yellowish tint on the screen and compared it to all the black iPhones they had at the store, so I'm just wondering if Apple care was able to do anything??
    Thanks
I haven't called Apple's customer care service but instead brought my iPhone into an official Apple retail store. The employee has never been approached about the yellow tint yet, and assured me there was nothing wrong with it. He also couldn't give me an answer I was looking for either; if it was Apple's intention or not. He himself had a brand new Verizon white iPhone and we compared ours and they both looked the same. I showed him my friends AT&T black iPhone and set it next to mine but he really didn't notice the difference. My friend also had a protective screen over it and the employee said maybe the blue tint I was seeing was from the plastic (which I know is not the cause).
I brought it to Verizon's store and the employee there said he didn't see any real problem with it and since Apple didn't send them a notice about a recall on their iPhone's, there was nothing they could do about it.
So I thought, this is must be what they are doing for all their new iPhone's. Every new one I see, it's tinted yellow. Although when I was in the Apple store and compared it to one of the new iPad2's displays, the iPad had a blue tinted screen.
The mystery over the yellow screen continues!
[However, I've been getting used to the yellow screen and I don't even notice it anymore.]

  • Not Liking The Yellow Tinted Screen

I'm kind of disappointed that Apple decided to put a cheaper screen in the new phones. Hopefully I'm wrong and that it's not a screen and can be fixed through an update or something, or I can return this phone in a month or so and they'll have the newer shipment of phones with old iPhone lighting on the screens. I'm currently doing a restore on my phone to see if it fixes the lighting at all, because I read somewhere that a restore makes it less yellow tint-ish. Also not liking the 1 bar I'm getting at my house with 3G on, not cool.
Now I got a question. I don't know much about MobileMe but I don't have it. I also don't know anything about Push and if it has anything to do with MobileMe. I have 2 Gmail accounts loaded on my iPhone, should I keep Push on? And does it have any effect on battery usage with it on?

    This is the partial breakdown:
    1st Gen iPhone had a white point of 8300K;
iPhone 3G has white point between 6800K - 7300K by design, intentional.
Native white point for a Mac monitor is 6500K (D65)
Mac monitors are usually at Gamma 1.8 (subtly blu-ish IMO), and PC monitors are at Gamma 2.2 (slightly fluorescent yellowish)
What is the Gamma of the screen of the 3G iPhone?
Because if a future adjustment is available to screen settings of 3G iPhone, then I would try to set it to 6500K and a Gamma of 1.8 to most nearly emulate a Mac monitor.
So I wonder if Apple changed to a yellowish 2.2 Gamma, to slightly cater to the larger PC user base , who is used to seeing screens at Gamma 2.2, with its inherent yellowness?
Either way, I don't think I'll have a problem with new screen, cuz I got an idea of why it was chosen.

  • Replacing iPad Air with Yellow Tint?

Hello everyone, I recently received my iPad Air last week from Best Buy and it seems I have the yellow tint issue.
Can I just go to the genius bar and have them replace it or do I have to go to Best Buy?

Actually all LCD screens are constructed from multiple layers which are bonded together, so yes, the screens are "glued" together for want of a better description. There are many layers making up the screen, including the backlight/diffuser, two polarising layers with the actual liquid crystal sandwiched between them, for a lot of displays the touchscreen itself is another layer on top of that (on the iphone and ipad mini its built into the front layer of th eLCD, on the ipad 3 and 4 its a seperate piece of glass laminated onto the top of the LCD - i dont think anyone has sliced through an ipad air yet to find out how the lcdis constructed).  with all of these layers - what do you think holds them together and stops them falling apart??? ifixit wont have mentioned this since you cant delaminate an LCD display without shattering the very thin glass layers off, they just treat the LCD display as a single unit.
And yes there was a well known issue with the iphone 4 where they were shipping the so fast the bonding agent hadnt fully cured, meaning that anywhere on the display it was slightly thicker, it gets slightly yellowish
for my own personal iphone 4, after a 6 week wait for it to finish drying, it was still yellow so they replaced it.
it is perfectly possible that in these ipads, the bonding agent holding the multuiple layers of the touchscreen together not finished curing

  • Yellow Tinted Screen?

I just got my Mini, hooked up a ViewSonic VA720 LCD to it, and the screen has a yellow tint to it. I can't get rid of it after calibrating the display. When I connect the display to my other non-Mac computers, it displays in normal color, without the tint. Any ideas? I am using the DVI to VGA connector that came with the Mini. Thanks for any help.

Thanks Tim! When I go to the Apple Store, I'm assuming I should bring the CPU and the adapter...I've tried a few times, plugging things in in different order, and nothing seems to be working. There is also some horizontal 'streakiness', especially after things on the screen that contrast sharply, going from left to right. Hopefully an Apple Genius can get 'er working right soon.
