Iphone 4 and new music

I have an iPhone 4.
A lot of the new music I recently purchased that fades in and out in volume.
I have push turned off.
Notifications off.
All apps off.
music fades, brand new earbuds, apple earbuds, plugged all the way in.
Hard restart.
What else.  must I erase and begin from scratch?
Win 7 64
itunes 10.4.1.10
iphone 4 version 4.3.5 (8L1)
firmware 04.10.01

Yes and as long as the apps are compatible on the iPad you should be OK. This article explains how to do it. This talks about iPad to iPad but it works the same way from iPhone to iPad.

    Hello:
You need to contact "epost."  The issue is not an Apple issue....the epost software needs, I assume, to be updated.

An exclamation mark means that it doesn't know where you moved the music to.  To fix this, click on the exclamation point and when it asks you to browse to the location where you moved it to, use the normal commands to go up and down folders in your external drive until you find the song.  Repeat as necessary.

Move the content from the old computer to the new computer.
Sync the iPhone via cable to the new computer and enable Wi-Fi syncing.
It should now be possible to sync via Wi-Fi to the new computer.

Can I hook_up my iPod to my iPhone and play music?

You will need to do it using a third-party utility such as Phone to PC. Also, see:

Yes, you can do it the same as any other database. The code would be similar.
I'd also suggest you not to use the JDBC ODBC bridge for connection. There are other drivers available for that.

  • Manually manage music with new iPhone and new MacBook?

I have a new iPhone 6 that auto syncs with an old MBP iTunes library. I just got a new MBA and want to manually manage music between my new iPhone and my new computer. I don't want to transfer all of my music files onto my new MBA in efforts to save space.
I just want to keep all the music files that are currently on my phone, and have the ability to add more files as needed from my NEW MacBook.
Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hi ksatia,
If you'd like to manually manage your content, which would allow you to sync content with multiple computers, then please take a look at the information in the article linked to below.

  • ITunes music files cannot be edited, and new music files imported.  The messages says I do not have enough access privileges even though I am the administrator of the system.

Since installing the latest version of iTunes all my music files cannot be edited, and I cannot import new music files into iTunes.  The messages says I do not have enough access privileges even though I am the administrator of the system.  If anyone can help me sort this out I would be really grateful.  I have checked the read and write privileges for all the iTunes folders and it all seems in order so I can't understand it.
In general, I am getting really frustrated with Apple.  They seem to be getting ever more controlling in their approach to their consumers.  I need to edit music file information as I am a dj.  And why can't I import music, unless I buy it from iTunes?  Most of all, why can't I use the devices I paid a lot of money for in the way I want to use them, and not be forced to coerced to use apple's fee paying services (iCloud, iTunes).
I have used apple computers since the early 1990's, but in the last year I have gotten rid of my iPhone and my iPad and replaced them with Android devices.  Much better and much less control.  Perhaps it is time to switch from Apple altogether.

  • IPhone and new Mac

I have recently got a new MacBook. Having plugged in my iPhone I have updated my contacts and iCal, but I can't seem to move any music across to it. Any ideas why this is and how I can fix it? Is it something to do with my iPhone being originally set-up on my old iBook?
    Thanks in advance.

I have a back-up of my iTunes files from my old iBook, and have moved them onto my MacBook as detailed above (using the Add to Library option). I can play music fine through iTunes on my MacBook. When I connect my iPhone it loads up fine and I can sync calendars and contacts etc (that is how I moved my iCal and Address Book over to my MacBook). When it comes to putting music on my iPhone it won't let me drag and drop music as usual. The only way I can put music on is by making a playlist and syncing it to get it on my iPhone. Even when this is on my iPhone, all the music appears greyed out such that I can't rearrange it, delete it etc.
Really not sure what the problems is, but very frustrating. Can only think I've not moved my iTunes across correctly or my MacBook is not set as the main computer for my iPhone. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Syncing  iphone and uploading music to iMac from  phone

We're trying to upload music from an iphone and also sync the iphone to an imac...
We seem to be missing a step in the work flow to make this happen...
We are also syncing this phone to this iMac for the first time.
We also want to make sure we don't lose the music, since it's original.
    Ideas?
    Thanks!

Are you trying to copy music from your iPhone onto your mac? iTunes will not let you do that, it only lets you move music from your computer to your iPhone - one way - or delete it from your iPhone.
Have you synced the iPhone with any other computer in the past? Your iPhone will be linked to your iTunes account. If you try to link it to another account iTunes will wipe the phone first.

  • Sync problem between iPhone and iTunes (Music&Books)

Hello, I have a synchronization problem between the macbook and iPhone  5S. On the macbook I've Maverik updated and also the Iphone is updated.
First problem: the timing so long, especially at the step of applications, compared to when it was fast, applications have not changed.
Second problem: the music, I flagged "synchronizes the selected music" but all the flags on the selected artists are missing, despite what the music is on iPhone . I tried to flag again on itunes but all song was duplicate in Iphone.
Third problem: the books, it happens the same music.
The problem does not occur with the photo with the ringtones and videos.
I've tried everything from simple restart of the mac and the iPhone, checked and updated macbook, iPhone and itunes. Repaired permissions on the mac.
    What can I do?
    thanks
    Bye
Ho provato a riselezionarli e me li duplica tutti.
    Cosa posso fare?
    grazie
    ciao

  • IPhone and wireless music?

Seems simple (of course I am not an engineer) but if the iPhone has wifi AND has itunes, shouldn't we be able to see the rest of our music library through the wireless network? and be able to play music wirelessly while we are in range?
This feature may quiet all of the people who thought the iPhone should come with more on board memory.
    Just a thought.

The iPhone does not include the iTunes application. It includes a link to the iTunes Music Store which can be connected to via Wi-Fi only for purchasing and downloading music from the iTunes Store to the iPhone and there is a difference and not as simple as it may seem.
The iPhone does not have more storage (not memory) since it uses Flash storage and not a hard drive which is better suited for cell phone use. As Flash storage cost continues to drop and this storage technology improves allowing greater storage capacity and a reasonable cost, it will increase. The iPod Touch comes with 16GB so it is heading in that direction slowly but surely.

  • Switching old iphone and new iphone SIMs?

Does anyone know if switching the SIM from the old iphone to the 3g iphone, and vice versa, will work? Is it even legal? I have a particular issue... I got the 1st gen iphone in January when I switched to AT&T, but my wife got a regular phone. Now she wants the 3g phone, but she isn't eligible for an upgrade so it'll cost $400 instead of $200. I can still upgrade for $200 though. So the option i'm considering is upgrading my phone, using the old iphone to load her phone number on it, and then switch the 2 sims so that she keeps her number and the 3g, and i keep the 1st gen with my number. If i don't switch sims, I could just switch phones (and hence, phone numbers). Any thoughts?

This cannot be done with a carrier locked iPhone.
You can use another AT&T carrier locked phone or an unlocked GSM phone with you iPhone's SIM card but you cannot use the SIM card from another phone with your iPhone.
The SIM card activated with an iPhone is married to the iPhone's IMEI number via the activation process with AT&T. For your wife to use her line/number with an iPhone 3G after you have activated the iPhone with your line/number will require your wife activating the iPhone with her line/number via the iTunes activation process.
This ain't AT&T's first rodeo with people trying to do the same in regards to trying to get around a subsidy early. You qualify for upgrade or subsidized pricing on an iPhone 3G with your line/number, but your wife's line/number does not qualify for upgrade or subsidized pricing for a new phone.
Better to be upfront and ask AT&T. They may be willing to work with you on this making an exception.

  • Can i synch different music to my iphone and new ipad

    Hi
new user and bit confused -
is it easily done to synch different music to my new ipad than that i have on my iphone - I have one user account name and one itunes library

With the iPad connected to your computer and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, you can use the Music tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to specify which of your music to sync to it e.g. which albums, artists, playlists etc. ; you can then do similar with the iPhone. You can have different selections for each device, and iTunes will remember those selections the next time you connect the device.

  • I transferred all my music to my new computer, went to sync my iphone and the music library won't sync. It's like it's leaving the old library on and trying to add a duplicate one, keeps saying there isn't enough room. Help please?

Everything from my old computer is still in the music portion of my phone, I don't know how but it hasn't synced that part.  I went through and edited the new library and there are fewer songs, it's telling my I don't have enough room on my phone.  This is impossible when it is less music than I am currently holding.  How do I get it to delete the old information and put on the new library?

How exactly was the music transferred to the new computer?
The correct way is to copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.  If it was transferred properly there are no issues with syncing to the iOS device.
