IPhone 4 apps closed unexpectedly iOS 5.1

I recently updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1 version, and now all the apps are running for a while, but then are closed unexpectedly, I tried to restart my iPhone, then I tried to reset the iPhone and then restore the backed up configuration, but the problem persists. All the applications run only just for a moment.

Yes all the apps were purchased with the same Apple ID.
The iPhone fails with all the apps, even with the factory preloaded or settings app, all the apps are closed unexpectedly, the only thing that works it's the phone during a call.. could it be something wrong with the Hardware?

When you go into the App Store, do you see tabs on top, one for iPad, and another for iPhone?
If so, click the iPhone tab and you'll be in business.

TS1702 All the apps on my iphone keep closing unexpectedly -please help!

A week ago, all the apps on my iphone (bought in started shutting down after a few seconds of opening them (I need to write an SMSor email really fast and my Tom Tom can't really get me anywhere as the app only stays open a few seconds.)
Since then my battery goes flat with -in hours of changing.
I took out the Apple care plan - they came to get it and 2 days later they sent it back saying they could find any problems with it – according to their tests all is fine. I got home and re synced only to find that it STILL closes down all the time.
I am terribly frustrated...a friend wondered if it wasn’t simply a display setting which is set to do this...but I cannot find any such setting...please please help

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
Also, many users have reported that downloading any new app (free or paid) from the app store will resolve similar issues.

I am having troubles at the moment to make a slide show...the app closed unexpected. and I can not finish the work, plus, the music is not reproduced...

Safari closing unexpectedly ios 7

I upgraded a 4s to iOS 7 - when I go to some web pages I am consistently kicked out of Safari. Same thing happened using Chrome for iOS. Here is an example page - search Google for "best iPhone 5s cases"and go to the new pcmag article - it will load but then touching the screen kicks you out of Safari.

Additional info - also happens when I go from pcmag mobile site to specific article http://mobile.pcmag.com/?origref=?origref=#!/article/523c4c41ec069159485eee08-th e-best-iphone-5c-cases without going through google. Feels like html5 implementation bug?

TS3376 what is going on with the find my iphone app,i use IOS 6.1.1 and i have updated the find my iphone app and now i cant locate my device

Not sure if it would help or not, but if you haven't already done so, some things you could try are:
Tap Sign Out on the top right of the app, then sign back in
Force close the app by going to the home screen, double-tapping the home button, locating the app in the list at the bottom, tapping and holding the app until it wiggles, tapping to close it, then tapping the home button again.
Go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, turn Find My iPhone off, the after a minute or so, turn it back on.

Apps close all the time, even the built in apps. I clear the apps from the multitasking tray all the time. (after I close each app)

Try a reset before you go for the restore. It take a couple of minutes and doesn't risk any data.

When I am running my iphone app on the iOS Simulator, the header wont show, neither the "back" botton.

How can I improve performance on my iPad 1. I am having problems with apps closing unexpectedly and also with slow response.

My iPad 1 has become almost unusable apps crash without warning and the response time is very slow.

1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.

All my iPhone apps shuts down after a random number of seconds.
Below are what I did a few days ago and might had led to the problem:
I transferred my purchases to iTunes and synced them --> no problem
I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6 --> no problem
I installed "the little crane that could" version 4.4 --> starts but hangs
Updated "the little crane that could" to version 4.4.1 --> crashes and shuts down
Removed the app to reinstall again --> not on App Store (knew later that Apple removed it for this bug)
Installed again from my synced apps on my computer --> starts but shuts down unexpectedly
Up until the last step, all my other apps were fine, but I think after I did that all my apps are shutting down unexpectedly including App Store, Contacts, and even during phone calls voice is muted for a second and I get back to home screen. I thought that this usually happens when I am connected to either WiFi or cellular data because I feel this happens when my iPhone is trying to load, sync, or connect but I found it happens even in Airplane mode.
I tried all the options I found on the Internet like:
Restarting iPhone
Rebooting iPhone
Removing and Reinstalling the App (now it is back to App Store after fixing the bug)
Closing all open apps by double clicking the home button
Deauthorizing, then Authorizing my PC and syncing
Downloading a free app
I did not try to restore my iPhone because I do not want to lose my data and because some people said it did not help.
Do you have other solutions than the above?

I tried the last solution and restored my iPhone, deleting all apps, and all apps data.
Luckily I had most of them synced with iCloud so I did not lose much, but I had to reinstall, organize, and configure every and each app again.

I purchased an iPhone 4s on Nov. 20th. I immediately had to update the software to ios 6.0.1. I cannot even get through 1 day without the phone battery losing all power. It loses 10-20% per hour, and that's with apps closed, wifi off, bluetooth off, screen dark, updates current, etc. You can hold the phone in your hand and watch the power go down. It also gets very warm. I have to charge it once or twice a day so I have it when I need it.
I took it in to the Sprint store for diagnostics to see if there was something wrong with the phone. They said the phone is ok, but one of the agents said it's the last update - he has had problems ever since. He said he thought they are working on fixing it & we should be getting another update to fix it. Is this true? I sure hope so! They also showed me how to reboot the phone, especially when it gets so warm. Is there anything else I need to do? Please help!
This is my first iPhone and I am very frustrated and disappointed in Apple. If it's the software, I would think they would be frantically trying to fix it. This phone was not the cheapest phone, so the battery life should be better!

After some troubleshooting, I decided to order a new battery. I replaced the battery and was then able to get it to restore, however--after I restore it and it comes time to restart the phone, it gets stuck and doesn't turn on.

She does not have apple care and even though she loved this device, she isn't going to buy another iPhone because of all the problems shes had with this one (it's just over a year old).
After you ruined the iPhone with DIY, Apple won't touch it anymore. You should have asked before all these had happened.
I'm an android user myself and I love rooting/flashing new ROMS, so if jailbreaking her phone or doing some kind of super-restore with 3rd party programs might help, I'm all for it-

I had the same issue. I closed iTunes, restarted the computer and then tried again. This time it would sync. Another thing I tried was switching USB ports I was connecting through.

Heard about what Trojan? Any Trojan you heard about is in regards to a hacked iPhone with the cutsie term for that "jailbreak". Hacking an iPhone removes all the built-in security included with iOS, which is sandboxed environment.
This occurs with any website, or with a particular website only?
If no change after powering the iPhone off and on and/or after an iPhone reset, go to Settings > Safari. Select Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
