IPhone 4 - Apps - PLEASE HELP!!!!
A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO I HAD A LITTLE (1) ABOVE THE APP STORE ICON AND IT SAID THAT THERE WAS A TALKING TOM UPDATE. NOW, I SELECTED "UPDATE" AND IT SAID IT IS OVER 20MB SO I NEED TO HOOK UP TO iTUNES OR A WIRELESS NETWORK (I HAVE NEITHER) - THEREFORE, IT JUST SAT ON MY SCREEN AS "loading" OR "waiting". - I WENT TO MCDONALDS (WHERE THEY HAVE FREE WIFI AND IT STARTED TO DOWNLOAD HOWEVER I SAT IN MACCAS FOR 20 MINS AND IT ONLY DOWNLOADED THE TINIEST BIT. I DONT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AT HOME AND THERE ARE NO OTHER WIFI DESTINATIONS AROUNG HERE - ANY SUGGESTIONS?? I HAVE TRIED DELETING THE APP BY HOLDING MY FINGER ON ALL APPS UNTIL THEY START TO WOBBLE BUT NO x APPEARS AT THE TOP OF THE APP. - PLEASE DONT TELL ME I HAVE BUGGERED THE PHONE (WHICH I HAVE ONLY HAD FOR 2 WEEKS!!!!).
Ok, thats fine. But you posted 2 threads saying the store activated through their itunes, and when ypu needed to use computer you used your friends computer. Makes it sound like you are using their accounts. So how can you do both? You activate at store, but if you hook up to another computer, it will consider it a new phone and anyhing you had on that phone would be wiped.

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, there is a blank app icon on the home screen. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend that you read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting your issue.

It sounds like you are wanting to download an album that you pre ordered, not all the songs are downloading. First, use this section of the following article to see if the tracks download:
Download a pre-ordered item
When a pre-ordered item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know that you can download your pre-order.
If you enabled the option to automatically download prepurchased content in iTunes, then your pre-ordered content may already be in your library. If not, click the download link provided in your email notification, and your pre-ordered content will begin to download. You can also use the Check for Available Downloads feature in iTunes on your computer (choose Store > Check for Available Downloads) to begin downloading your pre-order.

FInd my iphone is not something that is installed. It is a built in feature that you would need to turn on from the iphone itself before it is lost. If you did this, then you may be able to go to icloud.com and get an approximate location.
Otherwise you cannot track it.
The find my iphone app that you can install is only used to find your other idevices from your iphone. It has nothing to do with finding the iphone on which it is installed. -

Is reliance a supported carrier for the iPhone? If not, you will be unable to get facetime to activate.

The error message you're seeing is likely the other way around -- i.e. something like "This iPhone has previously been synced with a different computer". There's no problem syncing multiple iOS devices to the same computer.
However, the reverse is not true for the iPhone -- you cannot connect an iPhone to another computer without it being erased, even if you manually manage music and video. So, it sounds like you've been syncing your iPhone to a different computer?
Also, 5.1 (not 5.0.1) is the latest iOS. -

It's strange because I can change my AppleID country without this message.
So what to do? Just try to do this again, but on another device. You may also erase cookies and history of your browser.

I purchased an audiobook in Nov 2012 using iPhone 4S and then upgraded to iPhone 5 in Dec. Now I am not seeing the audio book in purchase history in iTunes. This means I am not able to get the book in my new iPhone. Please help.
Audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store. It was never free for the 3GS.
It is if the initial sign-up is done on an iPhone 4, iPad or iPod touch 4th gen.

If you wanted FaceTime, you should not have purchased your phone in the UAE. There is no way to add it back to your phone, as it has been permanently removed.

What happens when you try to do the in-app purchase, if you are getting an error message then what does it say ?
