IPhone 4 "cannot connect to itunes store" tried literally everything... please help!!
i had the same problem last week, reset network & all settings and APN and it worked.... same problem again but everything ive tried so far has failed... any suggestions?!
If you haven't already reboot (reset)
hold home/sleep buttond until Apple logo appears
ignore off slider
If that doesn't make any difference try a restore

My 1st generation iPhone cannot connect to iTunes store
I have a 1st generation iPhone with iOS 2. When I open the App Store app I get a pop up message that says "cannot connect to iTunes Store". The iPhone is connected to wifi and loads pages perfectly. Please help!

IPhone cannot connect to itunes store
I recently downloaded IOS 5.0 to my iPhone 3GS and have been unable to connect to the iTunes store since the upload. I've tried using both 3G and Wi-Fi networks, both of which have been confirmed to be functional on my phone (I can surf the web, access emails, etc.) and still continue to be unable to update any of the apps on my phone. I've also made sure to have the "cellular data" function "on" under settings and still have problems. Is there anything else I can do?
Try this... You will Not Lose Any Data...
Turn the Phone Off... ( if it isn’t already )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... (But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On...

Why does App Store keep crashing!!! It's completely ****!! I am going to buy an android phone if they don't fix this immediately!!!
Basics from the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. I'll bet you've not tried any or all of these basic steps.
BTW, we're users, here, not Apple. So threating to buy an android phone not only makes you look like an idiot, but none of us users on this forum really give a **** what you do. -

The article you attached suggests you are running OS X 10.6. Is this true? If so, it is the cause of your issue.
The iPhone 5S, being a brand new machine, needs a new version of iTunes. The current iTunes is 11.1.3. That version requires at least OS X 10.6.8, and seems to do better with later versions. -

I just updated the iOS6 and that is when I started having problems. I get the message when I tap App Store and iTunes app. I get email messages but when I delete them they come back. I open them up but does not connect to the internet properly.

You need to go to Date & Time and change the date ahead more than a year. Then try and then you can change the date back.

Devices show 'Cannot connect to itunes store' when try to purchase via device. However able to purchase via computer therefore password is correct. I purchased a rental film yesterday via ipad so this has just occured today. I've tried rebooting both devices and re sincing with itunes, but the problem remains. I back up via computer not icloud if this makes a difference, which it shouldn't. Any ideas??
I had this exact issue. However, I was not even able to "see" the pending downloads when I tried fixing them using the solution above.
In another thread, I saw that someone mentioned an issue with the use of the "&" (ampersand) symbol in your appleID information. I had recently changed my name and it did include the & symbol in my name (not the appleID itself). I replaced the ampersand with the word "and" and saved. I then went to the iTunes store and logged into my account there and made the same change on my billing name.
Voila! I could now access the 7 pending downloads on my desktop Mac and download them, and all iPhone/iPad/Ipods were again able to download from the app store.
incidentally, I had several support tickets open on this issue and never once did the Apple person even suggest that this might be the issue. -
I have proble of "cannot connect to itunes store. After I have updated the new software ios6, the problem arised in one of my mobile. In the second mobile, I didnot updated the software.Today in the morning, the problem ariesed in that mobile as well. I cannot open the itunes, don't have access to apple store . I tried to solve the problem like going to setting, general, Date and time, automatically off, keeping one year ahead date. I tried all the possible options I could get from the googel. No - I have not tried other routers on my network.
What I meant was I could use my itouch on other users wireless networks without any issues.
I'll update the routers DNS to try using Google's 8.8.8.8 instead of my ISP.
Is the issue DNS performance using local ISP -or are there other possibel isues when using local isp DNS?
