IPhone 4 Case Program - international?

I bought my iPhone 4 from France but I live in Estonia. How can I get my free case? Hasn't Apple thought of that?

Have you tried ordering the case form the iphone 4 case program? Surely, they should be able to ship internationally.

    It will come up in the search, oddly enough it is not the first option, it is a little down the list.

    Are the the terms and conditions made to fix antena issues with At&t, or a hardware issue?
    Is the case program designed for helping iPhone hardware owners or At&t customers?
    I have doubts, because i can't get a case for my iPhone, and at least 4 Apple customer reps and 4 At&t reps didn't help me.
    I bought 2 iphones. 1 to replace my current At&t unit (extending its contract) and another paid in full to give my cousing as a gift. I bought it way before his birthday because it's so fainting difficult to get them (I went to the store 3 times in the morning until I got the shipmen… They don't ship every day, nor the same amount, to keep the buzz in the store, but that's another story)
    I ordered the bumper for mine, it's in its way. No problems with that: I *DO LIVE in the US*, I *ASKED for it* and they gave me the info on how to get it, and *I AM* an At&t customer.
    Now, the other phone is NOT ACTIVATED, and I don't want to give it to my cousin's and say "now you have to get your own bumper. Oh, sorry if you took this long to activate it, but you don't qualify for the bumper anymore".
    I called many times, called the stores, went to At&t…
    After the detailed below, I assume (this is an assumption, please don't ban my message again) that the program is designed to clean iPhone4 name rather than solving an antena failure.
    a) They are not available yet, and Apple reps DIDN'T TELL ME THERE'S THE PROGRAM until I asked for it later. if you come back to the store too late, the program may be expired.
    b) You can't get it if your phone is not activated.
    c) They told me At&t stores have the cases. They even looked at the computer and said "yes, this or that store has it". They also confirmed me when I got the second At&t store I drove to, saying "yes, I see in my computer that they not only should be able to ship it to you, but they also HAVE IT in stock, or SHOULD HAVE IT".
    I've been at 3 At&t stores, one of them the largest in Miami, and NONE of them have the cases, nor know about the refund, nor have ever seen the "bumper" in their store.
    d) When I called to ask them how else you can get the cases, other than having the phone activated, they were limited to tell me "you have to download the app, and order it through it", although Apple will refund the money if you get it at At&t stores and show them the receipt, which… you'll never get, since NO At&t store has it. (the manager of one store shown me her computer's screen with the table of product availability, which shown "cero, cero, cero…" across the whole screen, for ALL THE FLORIDA STORES (that was like 6 columns items, across 20 store rows, full of ceros)
    e)The customer support reps seemed instructed to help Apple to keep the charity at minimum, rather than helping me to fix my iPhone's antena issue.
    When I told any of those reps "the program was made to fix a HARDWARE ISSUE, and that issue exists regardless of me having it activated or not…", they kept repeating "you need to access the app to get the bumper"
    When I asked them if "that means that the antena FIX is limited to the ones that activated the phone?", they replied "YES".
    It took a few times for them to understand that "install the app" can't be always done.
    It seems they don't have anything setup for "helping" me to fix the antena "JUST BECAUSE I PAID FOR THE HARDWARE WHICH CARRIES THE ISSUE", but "many conditions by which exclude me from the program.
    I'm wonder whether the hole that prevents me for getting a bumper is on purpose or just a series of unfortunate events.
    I'm also wondering how fair is a "condition" for getting a fix for a hardware issue other than "owning the hardware".
    Probably I gave up too quick. I think 4 Apple reps can't be a coincidence. Should I raise my hope or lower my expectations?
    I wish I can get an Apple rep contacting me to help me with the unexpected issue, rather than contacting me to tell me my previous post has one of the following:

    Sergio, you sort of lost me there, but you keep refering to AT&T and the cases. The program for free cases is through Apple, not AT&T. And yes, for a phone not yet activated, you wouldn't be able to order a case. The cases are ordered through an App you download from the App Store. The case program was not put in place to make AT&T or any carrier better. It was offered as a means of helping anyone who is experiencing signal loss when holding the phone at the left side of the phone where the antenna for cellular signal is.
    Again, I'm not completely sure what you were asking, but I think what I've written should offer some clarity......

    I saw on another forum that the app needs time to synch as sometimes it is caused by passwords changing? I know for myself the error seems to have occurred because I changed my password just before trying to run the app. The article advised waiting several hours (I'm going to wait till tomorrow morning) and then try again.

  • For iPhone Case Lovers and their concern of Magnet Closers!!

    I recently learned that some have had issues with their iPhone when used with a cases that includes magnets for closing. Sorry mwhitted for your woes.
    While looking for a nice case for myself I became concerned of this, and decide to contact Sena about their Dockable iPhone case. This case seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, but after reading mWhitted and a few others problems I wasn't sure.
    So I sent them a e-mail with the links and question their knowledge about their product.
    This was late last night (about 1:39 am). How about 10:09 in the a.m. I get a response! A Long and thoroughly explained response (read Below).
    Great customer service! I am going to give this company a try and see how well this works.
    I have included my original e-mail to them and their response by Ronda so that you may judge for yourself.
    PS. mWhitted, aparently the case you used may not have had the proper magnets and maybe not assembled appropriately for this phone which may have caused the problem. What do you think, maybe this may have been the cause?

  • Is this case program a scam!?

    I purchased a new iPhone 4 on Aug 24 from an AT&T store and that evening downloaded the app to order my free case. I got an error that said my phone isn't eligible. According to the Terms and Conditions my phone IS eligible!!! Well, after being on the phone with tech support for 2 hours (talked to 3 different people during that time), I was told that I'd receive a call on the evening of the 25th with info on when the case would be shipped. I didn't get a phone call so I called back on the 26th. I've been on the phone with Apple for an hour now (have talked to 4 people) and still don't have this resolved!!! What is going on here? Something seems fishy in Appleland.
    Also, the app program give a phone number to call if there are questions. I've been told by 4 people at Apple that the number is wrong! What!?
    Am I the only person having this problem?

    I also have no issues with my iphone 4, sometimes the signal bar will drop 2 bars if I really try and replicate the "grip of death" but never looses signal.
    I got my phone last friday, downloaded the case program app and ordered my case without any problems. The case I picked has a 5 week wait time, but its FREE. I probably won't even use that case as I was a big fan of the Incipio feather on the 3G so may well get the iPhone 4 version now.
    Also the reception issues were widely publised so if you only got your phone in the last week or 2 you must have known about the "issues" before you bought it.

  • No Apple Bumper available under the Case Program in the UK anymore?

    Hi,
    I purchased the iPhone 4 on 22nd Sept on the Apple UK site and just received it yesterday. So far so good. I've managed to load the Case Program app onto my iPhone 4 and was looking at the cases available and was surprised not to see the official Apple bumper not in the list. I know Apple state that case selection and availablility is subject to change, but I thought maybe Apple will still continue to offer the official bumper regardless, providing you are willing to wait a very long time for them to ship it?

    But that doesn't explain why I am available to choose other cases in the case program app such as the Incase Snap case, Griffin Motif and about 7 others. Also, before placing an order online, I confirmed with an Apple representative online that I would be eligible for the case program, because they use the date that the order was placed (so the repesentative says).

    Whenever we clear a Disputed Invoice with an incoming payment, we receive this error message if the Dispute is unresolved: -
    An error occurred during the update of case xxxxx
    Update Case with Program FDM_PROCESS_BUFFER
    You can start the program by running this document.
    However, when we run FDM_PROCESS_BUFFER we get an error: -
    Dispute Case xxxxx: Internal Error: ENQUEUE
    Has anyone come across this error before?  Or can anyone suggest a solution for this error given the scenario we are using i.e. clearing unresolved Disputes?

    We have gotten this error when the status of the dispute case was "new" which is not in the range of allowed statuses allowed for the automatic change in status needed for the closure. 
    If we change the status to an "in processing" status the error is cleared.
    Try that to see if it fixes the error.

  • Case Program problem

    Hi,
    I moved to Czech Republic for two semesters of exchange studies this fall. I wanted an iPhone 4 and since in Finland we only had the ones locked to a single carrier I ordered mine from the UK to be able to use it here in the Czech Republic as well. Now that I'm here I tried to get my free case which I did not need in Finland as the networks there are much better than here in the Czech Republic. But the Case Program app did not let me order the case to my country as it was not an option in the list. The local Apple Premium Reseller shop told me that the way to do things is different for the customers with iPhone 4:s purchased there and I could not get my case that way. So I was out of options and thought "I'll get my case when I get back to Finland by ordering it to my friend's apartment or something" and since my phone was purchased before September 30th I thought this would work out. But now I realized that there is a 30-day period inside which the case must be ordered. So I guess that I'm out of options and have to deal with bad signal issues, am I correct? I also tried to call the customer service but the Finnish one suggests me to contact my carrier (which I did not purchase my phone from) and of the Czech one I would not understand a word.

    Are you have signal issues? Can you make calls and access the internet from places where your carrier has coverage?
    I use no case and have no issues.

    Is there any way I can get my case? I purchased my iPhone at full price in the UK and brought it to Malta. I tried searching for it in App Store but to no avail. Turns out that since I'm in Malta, I use the Maltese App Store and since Malta hasn't had iPhone 4 officially released here I'm stuck. Rumors have it that Malta will be getting iPhone at the end of September but by that time, Apple might stop the case program and I'll be past my 30 days after purchase. Seems not right that someone who paid full price (not subsidized in any way) can't get his case.

    I've been very happy with all my Apple products. I own a 13 inch MacBook Pro, an iPod Touch and now iPhone 4. But this case program really s u c k s!

    hi, I just recently brought 2 iPhones unlocked from Canadian apple store
    I do have apple ID but my billing is in Thailand, not Canada, so when I logged on to app store(Thailand), i could NOT find the free case App. Unless I signed out and search, i would find them in Canadian app store.
    I'm student and I do not have any Credit card in Canada
    Is there another way to get the free case? What should I do?

    From what I understand (as a retailer) the program in Canada will be the same as the U.S.

    to claim the free iPhone 4 case. The claim your case, follow the process below:
    1.) Download the iPhone 4 Case Program app from the App Store (not available in Canada yet).
    2.) Launch the app on your iPhone 4. Sign in using your iTunes/Apple ID.
    3.) Select your case.
    Notes:
    * For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, customers must apply to the program no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, customers can apply within 30 days of their iPhone 4 purchase.
    * To qualify for the case program, customer must have purchased their iPhone 4 by September 30, 2010.
