IPhone 4 charging problems

Within the last month or so my iPhone 4 has gone from being able to charge with any pc, mac, cord, or power adapter I had laying around, to only charging sometimes with some power sources to now only charging with the sim card removed. With the card in I either get just the plug icon in the battery or "charging not supported with this device." I'm on the latest iOS with no pending updates.
Any suggestions of what to investigate next? Thanks.

I woulld restore the iPhone to the factory settings and then set it up as a new iPhone.

IPhone charging problem solved by turning off safari JavaScript

Charging problem encountered while charging my iphone (specs as per userid) wother the repeat alerts about "accessory not supported" has been SOLVED by going to:
Settings -> Safari -> Advanced
and turning javascript OFF for the duration. No more interruptions. Praise the Lord!

ok me and my fiance switched to at&t 3 days ago, we have a total of 4 lines on the account, 3 iphone 3g and just a cheap other phone. The iPhones went to myself, my fiance, and my mother. As soon as i got home i obviously started exploring my new phone, about 4 hours later i decided to charge my phone, i plugged the adapter into the wall socket hooked up the usb cord to that and then to my phone and nothing, i tried 6 different wall outlets and none of them worked. if i plug the usb into my computer my phone will charge just fine however. so my fiance decided to try and use her charger and it worked perfectly. yesterday moring my mother called me and said her phone was not charging, she was at work so i took her my car charger that way she could at least charge her phone so i brought her charger home and same thing adapter doesnt work but the usb hooked into the computer works just fine. since my mother doesnt have a computer i decided to give her the working charger that way she can at least charge her phone. later that evening my fiance picked up one of the "broken" chargers and tried to use it and it magically started working again and about 20 minutes later it stopped working again and has not worked since. i tried taking them in to at&t since it has only been 3 days since we bought them and they told me there was nothing can do for me. i am getting very frustrated. does anyone else have the same problem or have any tips on how to get these adapters to work.

Don't bother with AT&T. Bring them to the Apple store and they will replace them.

IMac 5K and iPhone charging problem

I just got my new iMac 5K, and I noticed that when I connect an iPhone or iPad to the iMac, the charge keep going on and off constantly!! Anyone faces same problem here?

I have a white iphone 5. Recently i have to bend my usb cable as it will not charge when just inserted. This is the only thing keeping my phone alive. I also noticed that it would be around that sort of price to fix but like others have found solutions to do it themselves with these rediculous prices. Its no wonder so many people are moving onto the samsung products. At the moment this is my 2nd iphone 5 and its looking that ill buy a 2nd hand iphone 5 on ebay than change one part for the same price....

Iphone Charging Problem

My Iphone 4 won't charge while it is turned on. Only when it is turned off or dead. Also it wont connect to the computer so I can't restore it. Please help me with my problem.

Have you tried using a different charging cord? Also are you by any chance using a third-party charger?

IPhone charging problem/playback for music

Hi everyone, I have two problems at the moment. The first one is the iPhone car charger is not working correctly, it goes in and out from charging. It charges, then stops, then charges, then stops. I have no clue why this is all of sudden doing this. The second problem is when I connect a aux input cable to my iPhone and playback in my car, the music only comes out of one speaker? Then it goes to both, then one, then both, then one. It is very similar to the charging issue. Any ideas of what is happening here? Thanks

Iphone charging problems

I have a iphone 3gs and its just not charging at all i've tried everything i've even gone out and brought 2 new usb adaptors and used a different plug socket but it wont work.
ive even tried plugging it into my computer to get on the itunes store and its still not working? can somebody please tell me what to do because i have got no idea why its doing this?

Is the device functional?
If not plug your device into a good known charger and new 30pin to USB cable. After connected, if it does not show the charging symbol press and hold down the sleep wake button (top button) and the home button down until you get a signal from the iPhone. If there is a signal leave the phone alone for 30min and return to see if it functional.
If the device is functional and not charging, it could indicate that their maybe damage to the dock connector and may need to be inspected at a Apple Retail Store Genius Bar or Authourised Repairer.

Charging problems of iPhone 5

My iPhone 5 drops at 10%, and I want to charge it. After charging it straight to 100%, I want to check email with my iPhone charged. I tried to swipe to unlock. However, I couldn't swipe smoothly, it's like the phone can't detect my fingers. Even if I can swipe to unlock, its hard for it to swipe the screen, and if I type "n", it shows other letters. Surprisingly, immediately after I unplugged the socket, it is normal again. It runs smoothly, it can detect my fingers correctly, it's fine. Why is this happening, is it a bug or something?

Hi, I have an iPhone 5 and I'm having issues with charging and the battery. The phone does not charge fully to get to 100% with the full charge symbol, it keeps charging and charging until I unplug it. This is wearing down my battery because it is not coming to the point when the battery is at its full charge. The battery is technically at a full charge because it is charging for over 4 hours but it keeps on charging at 100%. The phone hardware is not indicating that it has came to a full charge. I have went through multiple phones and it has had the same problem. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the software because 3 phones and a replaced battery and a new cable shouldn't all have the same problem. Any ideas?

Take it to Apple and purchase an out of warranty replacement for it.
Replacement is the only way to fix broken electronics.

In most countries they will do so for a fee. US$199 for a 4S. It may just need a new battery, which Apple will install for about US$70.

Charging my iPhone 5 Problem

A few months ago my iphones charger just stopped working for no reason it was only 7 months old so i got a new one and its been ok for a bit and now its stopped working my iphone will be a year old in december and im pretty sure it should still be working as you expect it too?? whats wrong with it??

This indicates a serious hardware failure.
Take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

HT1476 iPhone charges on dock connected to laptop but not dock connected to wall charger

I used to charge my iPhone at night connected to a wall charger. Sometimes I would get an inverted yellow triangle with the message that the device di not support charging, but it would still charge. Now for some reason it gives the message and really won't charge. I have bought a dock to see if it was the wall charger but although the dock works fine when connected by usb to the laptop, I still can't charge when connected to the wall charger. It is an intermittent problem so I don't think it has anything to do with a dirty connector.

Just to let everyone know, I bought an apple plug and that has solved the problem. Not only does it charge without query but it's twice as fast.
