Iphone 4 disabled connect to itunes cant restore
My 4 year old entered my passlock code too many times now it says my phone is disabled and i need to connect to itunes. I have backed up my phone and connected to itunes before but now for some reason itunes is not seeing my phone when connected?? I need my phone how can i reset it and why is itunes not seeing it?? please help
Well, in order to get pass this disabled devide, you're goign to have to put it into Recovery mode. iTunes will ask you to put the passcode in to be able to use it. Here is the article on Recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1414
The problem with the back up is if that passcode was enabled when you made it. If you restore the back up, that passcode will come right back. But you can try it if you're not sure! Hope this helps!

SherylI synced the phone and it is back to the normal enter passcode screen, it's not disabled. What do I do at this point. She knows the 4 numbers that she entered but does not remember the sequence and I don't want to start trying them again. Any advice what I can do at this point?

I dropped my iPhone 4 in the toilet about a month ago and it stopped working, i put it in rice and left it. I went to try and turn it on today and it worked, but it says "iPhone disabled, connect to iTunes" so I connected it to iTunes and it says "to allow access, please respond on your iPhone" but my iPhone won't let me have access unless it's connected to iTunes. If it is locked from entering the wrong passcode too many times you'll have to restore it with iTunes on the last computer it was synced with.
