IPHONE 4 DOESN'T ACCEPT WIFI PASSWORDS ANYMORE - PLEASE HELP!

Hi all,
My iPhone 4 out of blue decided not to accept the wifi password- it says "wrong password for xxx network" - it's my home one it always worked-
I was away and worked fine for a week in others houses (where the password was stored already) went to other house, tried to connect with passwprd and started saying the pw was wrong - got home last night and didn't connect right away as usual(maybe because I've reset the network when away) so I've put the pw in and again says it's wrong - Of course the password is correct - laptop works fine and iPod touch as well - At work there is a non protected wifi and it connects fine - So looks like the iPhone doesn't accept passwprds for the wifi
I've tryed to reset the network few times, reboot it few times, reset all settings and update the sofware (version 5.0.1) - nothing worked - aw also unpluged and re-pluged the router at home (knowiing wouldn't' help)
PLEASE help, very frustrating - I've seen few people had the same issue but nothing worked.

Incorrect. The passcode lock is not included with the backup. The restrictions passcode is, but not the passcode lock. If it were included with the backup, you would need to restore as a new device or not from the backup. Either way, you must restore with iTunes which is the only way around a forgotten passcode.

I forgot my ipod touch's WiFi password! I have tried everything posted on the internet. Isn't there some way to go through itunes to reset it? Please help me - I want to give it to my 9yr old son!

The wi-fi password has nothing to do with the ipod.
It is the password that you set up on your wi-fi router.

My macbook has stopped connecting to my BT wifi. My iphone and ipad still connect fine though. It doesn't even recognise my wifi password. Please help.

I have been having this problem for the last week. I have tried signing on at my home wifi, with the correct password. The site shows up in systems, i type the password, and the menu for "enter the password for...." comes on screen. The phone also won't hook up at work, to a public wifi outlet, and for that matter the wifi site doesn't even come up. What other info can I give to get an answer?

Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see:

See what I don't understand is that I can sign in apple Id on here and on my App Store but not on the iPhone. I'm still having the same problem ... 6 months after your original post! I've just had to reset my pw 2 days in a row, and I've been through so many resets over the past 6 months that I'm running out of ideas for passwords that I'll have a reasonable chance of remembering. But I also always make a careful note of my important passwords, and after the 1st "password error" message, I check my list and enter the password very slowly and carefully. So, I think I'm pretty safe in claiming that neither entering the wrong password nor making a typo is the problem!
Oddly, though, I could usually cancel the password-reset process, then go right to the the iTunes Store, where my password would work fine, allowing me to open and view all my account details.
Several months ago, I spent about 45 minutes on the phone with Tech Support trying to get this fixed. He was great and we thought he'd found the problem with my account. (When I originally set up my iTunes account 6 years ago, I used a different email address than I used when I set up my new Mac last year, and that seemed to be causing some sort of conflict within my account. Hard to imagine someone might change email addresses sometime over a 6-year period, right? But apparently, the software designers didn't cover that possibility with one of their recent updates of the master system for customers' accounts -- that's the Tech Rep's surmise, not mine.)
Everything seemed to work fine for a few weeks, but then the problem started occurring again ... over and over and over ...

What do you mean when you say "my iphone doesn't accept my sim cart"?
Do you mean it doesn't physically fit? If so, you will need to go to your carrier and get a Micro-SIM or you will have to cut your SIM down to size.
If you mean the phone is carrier locked and tells you you are trying to use an unsupported SIM, you will have to contact the carrier the phone is locked to and see if they can/will unlock it. ONLY the carrier can authorize unlocking.
U.S. carriers will NOT unlock iPhones.

When it doesn't accept the password from Mail , it can be things other than the password actually.
It could be their Server, which is contacted differently than through WebMail, it just means the Server listening on this port, (or not listening), is not finding your username & password.

Try reboot ur ipad... press home and power buttons until apple logo com up and then release it.
