Iphone 4 gets off when unplug charger

my iphone gets on when it is plugged in to the wall charger
it is getting off instantly as soon as i unplug my wall charger
while on , it does not show any increase or decrease in battery percentage
pls help me fix this bug :

I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on what you mean by reinstalling iOS. If you have restored your iPhone to factory settings and tested without restoring any of your backed up data and the issue still persists, you may need to have your phone serviced. You may find the following page helpful:

Backight goes off when unplug charger

Can someone help ?please. A few days ago the backlight of my T61 started to goes off when i unplug the A/C charger. I can still see the computer running fine, it's the screen is very dark. this also happen when i use FN + end key to dim the light but only after the third level. After the screen goes dark i have to shutdown, plug in the charger and turn it back on then the screen is fine.Could this be something is wrong with the THINKVANTAGE PRODUCTIVITY CENTER?? Any help is highly appreciated

in bios changed in battery section - USER DEFINIED.
in OS chose instead of [Ubuntu 9.04 and Fedora 11 ] the new Ubuntu 9.10.

To make sure that this is not software related, set it back to factory settings, without using any backup data afterwards. Set up the rest of the personal settings manually and test the phone. If it still does not work correctly, this is a hardware issue and the phone has to be serviced by Apple or an Authorized Apple Service Provider:

I have some information for you that can help you troubleshoot this issue a little further. That information can be found right here:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 15 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.

I have turned off all notifications. I do not have life360 or Skype. I do have Facebook, WordsFree, ScrabbleFree, Pandora.

I did the reset. I updated the iPhone to 6.0. The alert sound stopped for a while then started again. I had to go to notifications a few times to turn off some of the alerts and now I have peace, plus I learned more about the notifications. Thanks for your help. I did not need to go to the Apple Store.

My brother with the iPhone 4 suffers from that too.
My iphone 5 doesnt however.
But to Stop Launch when your apple device is connected, 1. connect your iPhoneto your computer, 2.Go to the Summary Page, 3. uncheck the box "Open iTunes when this iPhone is connected" and then your good for that device.

1. you may have to take it in to Apple and get an out of warranty iphone for $199.
2. you can get your information from a backup of your phone. you do have a backup of your phone right either in iTunes or icloud. If you don't then your answer will be no.

The anodizing delamination issue is over blown .
If you are unboxing and activating in a Roberts/Fido/Virgin/Bell or Telus store and you see existing damage certainly YOU reject it.
The areas that appear to be subject to minor delamination are the milled edges.
This milled edge may be vulnerable to delamination since anodizing is dye process set within the top few micron of the base metal with an electric charge.
If you want an unlocked iPhone5 get it from Apple Retail at full retail price, as the carrier subsidized phones ”may” be Carrier/sim card locked for revenue protection reasons.
You need to check this locally as i can not vouch for Canadian cell phone practise.

Actually, i am an user of MacBook Air(2010 late) though,
the reason i'm asking you of my problem here is just this section has much more users than Air section.
Anyway, i have a problem. i think this phenomenon occured to my laptop these days and the problem is literally same with the subject.

More heat is generated by the charging system while the battery is being charged than when it is already fully charged and charging has automatically stopped. More heat means more fan activity, so it sounds to me as though what you're seeing is to be expected. However, other users of MBAs would know better than I do just how much of a temperature and fan-speed difference is normal, so I hope you will repost in the proper forum and get some responses there. MBAs and MBPs are quite different.

Turn it on.
If it will not power on, try a reset by pressing and holding the home and power buttons until the white Apple logo appears.
