Iphone 4 icalender alert settings problems since upgrading to IOS 7.1.1

I have an iphone 4 and since updating to ios 7.1.1 my icalender alert settings automatically change from what i selected.ie I set my event alert as 1 day and second alert as 2 hours but it automatically gets reversed most of the time.

I'm having the same issue on my iphone 4S since upgrading to IOS 7.1.
At first I thought is was a carrier problem and I even changed my Sim card for a new one, but it didn't solve the problem.
Then I put my sim card in another phone and it worked just fine, so I tried:
Reset network settings,
Reset all settings,
Restore my phone with the previous backup,
Restore my phone as new
And any of these worked for me. After almost losing hope I turned off my 3g connection and the signal came back, even when I was using wi-fi. Also the battery life is a million times better.
So I called apple support and they told me that it seams to be a hardware malfunction and because my guarantee is expired I have to pay to get it changed for a new one.
I think they don't know what they are doing and don't know how to fix it so it's easier to blame the hardware and charge us for they mistakes.
I'm still waiting for some update to solve my problem because before the update 7.1 I had a perfect functional phone.

My battery which was workinng fine until the upgrade, discharges at an alarming rate since upgrading to IOS 5.1.1. I have to have a cord almost everywhere I go just to keep it with battery liife. I would like to downgrade also. Having to charge 3 times a day is just dumb. I purchased my 3G wifi iPad for a small fortune just 3 or 4 months ago and the older OS worked fine, charge once every other day. I guess I learned my lesson about being an early adopter with Apple products - upgraded to IOS 5 - bummer - got the "fix" - still a bummer.

Wifi & Battery Problem since upgrading to ios 8.0.2

me upgraded my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.0.2 but I have a problem about Wifi and Battery !!! my wifi disconnect every 1 minute and when i turn it Off then On it will work for 1 minute and will disconnect again and i have to turn it Off then On again ! And my battery is getting low very faster since upgrading to ios 8.0.2 while i installed just 3 Program (Line-Viber-Clash of Clans) !!! please heeeelp me

IPhone 5 Power Button flaky since upgrade to iOS 7

I never had any issues with the power/sleep button on my iPhone 5 in the past. However, immediately after upgrading to iOS 7 I started having issues with the button not responding very well. It can take numerous presses to get it to work, or sometimes it just works on the first try. I have updated to the latest 7.0.1 and 7.0.2 but with no change in behavior. I am fairly certain that there is some sort of issue or bug with iOS 7, and that it is not a hardware issue.
Has anyone else come across this problem, and if so, was there anything found that could possibly fix it (aside from restoring an old backup of the phone before it was upgraded to iOS7)?

The problem for me was litterally overnight.. fine before iOS 7.. problem showed up the day after the update. While it could be a coincidence, the general sluggishness of iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and the timing is highly suggestive of an iOS 7 problem. My iPhone 5 used to feel so much snappier than my wife's 4S with iOS 6.. she didnt update.. and the difference between the two phones now just isnt there. Certain things are faster (well at least Safari) with iOS 7, but im kinda bummed that my phone is no longer as "snappy" as it was before the update.
Having been a Mac user since around 98, and being one of the first to have the Mac OS 10.. i am used to OS updates being an improvement (10 was buggy.. but got better fast.. even on my iBook 466SE).
I understand that with phones the hardware is making quantum leaps each year.. and you cant expect a phone to be able to handle an OS designed around what is esentially completely different hardware.. but a year-old phone that has the same processor as a new 5c should not feel sluggish.
I'm cool with progress.. and rather Apple make leaps in hardware capability.. and don't necessarily want them to get caught up in supporting legacy hardware.. but the 5 is not really legacy when Apple sticks to a 1 year upgrade cycle.

Iphone 4 bluetooth connectivity problems since updating to ios 5.01

My wife and I both have an Iphone 4 through verizon. I updated my ios to 5.01. Hers is still 4.3.10. Since updating mine the bluetooth feature have gone crazy. When I get in my truck (2008 Nissan Frontier) it just continually connects and disconnects with the built in blue tooth system in that vehicle. I cannot make or take a call on the system it just keeps dropping the connection then re-connecting. Funny thing is my wife's phone doesn't have this problem. It connects and functions normally.
I wanted to just roll back ios 5.0.1 but I've found out you aren't allowed to do that. Nissan has no updates for their bluetooth system either.
I have gone the extreme of completely wiping out my iphone and re-installing everything fresh and that has done nothing. I have also tried completely deleting all the phone saved in the truck's system and re-setting them up and that too has done nothing to fix the problem.
Anyone have a suggestion? I have to think that there is something in ios 5.0.1 that is messed up with bluetooth.

Interesting discussion. I too am having connection issues with an original iPad. I have an olde' linksys wrt54gs router with a Linksys RE1000 wireless extender (repeater). I can connect to the router just fine when I'm in range but can't use the repeater signal on this iPad only. Even when I'm right on top of it. One thing that may have helped is changing from WPA2 to simple WPA encryption in the routers settings. So far (crosses fingers), it's working ok.

Siri problems since upgrading to iOS 7

What is with Siri? Since upgrading my iPhone 5 to iOS 7, there are long periods during the day and evening where reponse is either deadingly slow, or where I get an error message back saying they cannot take requests now.
This never ever happened with iOS 6.
And I'm on a high-speed network.
Is it just me, or are there Siri problems in iOS 7, or is Apple just inundated with a lot of new Siri requests since the new iPhones were released and can't cope with the load?
It's become unreliable to use for dictation on the iPhone.

Since updating to iOS 7, Siri takes way too long (easily 15 seconds+) before providing a response if it hasn't aborted with "cannot take requests". ****, even having it set a timer and resume my audiobook, both not requiring the internet, takes time.
Lastly, on a purely personal note, the new Siri voice drives me nuts. Its pitch is too fast making it sound mousy, hurried, amd un-natural.

Some iPhones cannot download our podcast since upgrading to IOS.5?

Our podcast can be downloaded fine on iTune sand on most mobile devices, but some people say it stops downloading after 15.6kb. Why would this be, they have said it has happened since they upgraded to the IOS.5?

Hi, I found your question whilst trying to work out why my podcasts were doing this. Thought I'd update with my solution in case it's of help to you.
I found the solution by trial and error in the end. I moved the mp3 files onto another hosting space that we had to see if that helped, and it fixed it.
I can only assume that because the files were uploaded into our CMS originally, something weird was happening on ios devices to stop it downloading.
Might be worth moving your files just to see? I found your site (saw a similar question you posted with the feed in another bit of this site) and I noticed it's made with Drupal. I don't know Drupal myself but I'm guessing if you have uploaded the mp3 files as assets in the CMS, it might be the cause of the problem?

IPhone 4S has Calendar problems when upgraded to IOS 6.0

Upgraded new 4S to 6.0 as soon as I got it (big mistake). Receive email calendar invites from Blackberry users and Outlook users. I can't delete or edit them. Original sender updates the event (change time or name of event), it won't change after I open the update. Verizon referred me to Apple and they had me reinstall the IOS update. The problems persisted. After further research, she said the events that were created by Outlook, could not be changed in IOS6.0. You have to sync to your own Outlook, delete or change in Outlook, then resync again. Well I guess it applies to invites fom Blackberry users too. She won't admit to it but maybe she's not allowed to say the word "Blackberry". Why do I have to buy Outlook so that I can Delete an Event that someone with a Blackberry had sent to me?
I asked her to guide me through a downgrade to the previous version of the OS. She said that she could not; it was not supported.
How ARROGANT that is of APPLE. They think that their software is so good that nobody will need to downgrade. Their Quality has gone downhill fast (just web search the other 6.0 problems: Maps, Battery Life, WiFi, Skype, Youtube.).
This phone is going back to Verizon!

Well Apple decided to not take that option in mind for their operating system. Perhaps you can send a request to Apple for a future feature of their software.

Ipad3 problems since upgrading to ios8n

Is anyone else experiencing these problems since upgrading to iOS 8?
- Need to touch screen several times for a nornal one touch action (note: Screen size/position changes a bit after each successive try.)
- keyboard response slow at times and at times freezes
- screen content/image has expanded slightly but enought to put some perimeter icons and controls outside/off the screen.
Are there fixes?
ios7 worked beautifully!!! Why won't Apple allow their currently loyal ( but frustrated) clients to revert back to ios7?

Hi Go to settings Restore back, to Factory, settings After Restore use same Apple ID & password, then you will get all your apps & data, back. This will get rid of any bugs. I do this every 2 months, or so on iPhone & iPad. Cheers Brian

IPhone 5S cannot now read Exchange Email since upgrading to iOS 8

I have my work Email account on my iPhone for OOHs contact. Since upgrading to iOS 8 I can see the preview of the mails, however when actuating going into the mail, it just displays "loading" and cannot see the actual content. If I click on reply I can see the content.

HT201077 Since upgrading to IOS 7'photos taken on my iPhone are not transferring to the cloud. Sometimes a few will up load but then nothing for weeks. Anyone else had this problem

Since upgrading to IOS 7 the photographs I take on my iPhone 4S do not transfer to the cloud. Sometimes one or two of them transfer but then none for weeks. I have deleted photos from the cloud in case it is full but to no affect. I use my iPhone in conjunction with an iPad so this is driving me mad. Anyone else have this problem?

No you're not the only one having this problem in fact many people are having it I spoke to Apple support today about it. First it is my opinion the aspect ratio is different on iPhone 4s compared to iPhone 5s, however I really feel it is a software issue. Just to make sure I am having the same problem you are I will describe my issue. I Have confirmed the following: if I Center an object on my iPhone 4s screen and open the picture while I am still in the app (open on the bottom left it)looks fine. But when I open camera roll and open that particular picture it's also fine
Until I scroll left or right it pulls the image to the left side appearing to cut off the left side of the image. After talking to Apple support today and my knowledge with Apple products I strongly suspect this is a software issue. Apple asked me to do a restore as a new phone but I'm not going to go through all that nonsense when I believe it's a software issue and not a hardware issue. So again to recap to answer your question you're not alone, theses sort of things are expected when they rollout a new iOS just hang in there and let's see if they put a patch out for next update.

This was driving me crazy. Sync between Outlook 2007 and my iphone was working perfectly on ios 6 - I primarily sync Calendar, contacts, and notes.
Then everything went bizerk with ios 7... All of a sudden nothing was getting syncronized, but rather multiple Calendars and Contacts showed up in Outlook 2007. Disabling Calendar, contacts, and Notes in my iphone's icloud settings did the trick. Now I have ONE Calendar and ONE contact list in Outlook, fully in sync with my iphone.
