Iphone 4 is making me double-tap the screen and is reading everything to me. How do I make that stop?

My grandmother has an iphone 4. She doesn't know what happened but suddenly it started to read her everything and is making her double-tap her screen. How do I get that setting removed?

This has to do with accessibility. You can triple-tap the home button to get it off for right now. Then go into Settings>General>Accessibility and turn off VoiceOver. If you have difficulty getting there, to use VoiceOver, you tap once to select an item, double-tap to activate it and swipe with 3 fingers to scroll.

When you tap the text and the blue copy command appears... you must TAP the copy command to invoke it.
You can save it anywhere that you can paste something. Go to that place and tap again and the paste command should appear , then TAP paste.
I use Notes as a convenient temporary storage if I am not going to paste it right away and before I forget what I have copied!
Clipboard? I think of the clipboard as being my fingernail on my tapping finger!

Sounds like your iPod is in restore mode. Connect it to iTunes. iTunes will pop a little message up saying that your iPod is in restore mode and asking you if you want to restore it, click yes. Your iPod will restore to factory settings and you will be given the chance to restore from a backup. You can do this or set it up as a new iPod.

Try to quit iPhoto from the Home Screen - the recent app section.:
Double click the Home button to reveal the recently used apps.
Then tap and hold on the iphoto for ios icon until it wiggles. It will show a "minus" sign in the corner.
Now tap the minus sign to quit the app.
Click the screen above the row of recent apps to return it to normal.
Now restart iPhoto and see if it back to normal.

When I'm at my home, and on my Wifi, my 4G icon on my LG G2 is still present. No big deal. If the bits can flow via WiFi, that's what they'll do.
You might try (if you really MUST shut off the cellular radio):
Settings, Network Connections and More networks. Select Mobile Networks and uncheck Mobile data and data roaming.
Not sure if that will work - but give it a try.

Playing games on NL 520, if I double tap on a letter, it turns really big, and wont return to normal size unless I turn the phone right off and leave for a couple of minutes. I would have thought that double tapping would return type to right size, but it does not. Any suggestions why this is happening?

First, try a reset to see if that clears it up:
Hold down the home button and the power button together until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears, then let go of the buttons. This will not cause any data loss and is like a reboot for your phone.

I just found out. Above the icon is a copy of the open page of the program(s). You slide the pages up to close.
