Iphone 4 is not recognized by computer anymore. I've tried everything and it still wont connect. What can I do?
My phone stopped syncing a couple of months ago, but ive used the computer to charge it. Last time i used the computer to charge it was 2 weeks ago. This past week i tried to use the computer to sync it with the new IOS5, but now the computer doesnt even recognize it. Ive tried to re-install itunes, use a different cord and different computers. But it is still not recognized. I dont know what else to do. Please help

Hi Chris thanks for the reply , my iMessage was working until I listened to voda domes instructions to do a network reset now it's says waiting for activation , I have reset the phone I have a SIM card change as Vodafone thought my SIM card was faulty and took the phone back to the shop and changed it for a new one , I've been on many forum sites and a lot of people are having the same problem as I can send a txt message bit can't receive them Andy account is set up correctly on vodafones side ... I am we'll and truly lost for ideas on what to do .

I am using the full width video widget on a site. The widget was working perfectly however I have just added additional content to the site and re-uploaded and now the video is not working! Please help I have tried everything and am freaking out as this web-site has been payed for by my client.

Download the 10.9.3 Combo update and install it. Unplug all peripherals (external drives etc) and exit all apps while it's being installed, reboot afer it completes.

Hello all. My system is Windows 7 64bit. In the past my phone worked just fine, plug it into a usb slot, synced up, updated... but for months now it has not worked. Other Iphones will not work on this PC either with their corresponding cables. But my Iphone will also not work when plugged into other computers.. it will not show up at all.. no charge.. no itunes... no drivers show up in Device Manager. My phone works just fine when plugged into the wall with it's cable.. charges fine everything works.. but it will not charge when plugged into a computer.
So far... I have uninstalled everything related to apple... ran ccleaner.. fixed registry errors. Reboot PC, reinstall all itunes and apple components (all latest software) and nothing.
I have gonet o services and stopped and started apple mobile device. It is set to automatic.
I have hard reset the phone and soft reset it.
The cable obviously works. The Phone works when plugged into the wall.
Other Iphones will not work on my pc, nor will my iphone work on theirs
I have disabled windows firewall along with my Comodo Defense Plus and it's firewall. I have disabled my AV. I have scanned with ad aware plus, Avast, ran hijack this and fixed registry errors. Ran Ccleaner.
My device manager does not have anything related to apple in it.. I have no idea why. My Device Manager has no portable devices detected at all and does not recognize anything related to the phone.

I have checked all the tech support stuff I can find. I am desperate. Apple will not help me on the phone without charging me 30$.Also.... my phone works and can do everything fine when not plugged in.. I just can't get my computer or others to recognize the darn thing when plugged in!

- I would start with
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I recently bought a Zen Stone but I cannot get my PC to recognize it. Everytime it is plugged in I get taken to the "Found New Hardware Wizard" and it cannot find a driver. I have gone through all the help and none of the proposed solutions makes any difference. The Stone charges fine, but I cannot access it: in Device Manager it appears in Other Devices and does not appear in My Computer. The Safely Remove Hardware icon appears in the tray but when I right-click on it, nothing happens. The same thing is also happening with my older Zen Nano Plus which I am sure was recognized a couple of months ago. Both the Stone and the Nano PLus play music and I tried the Stone on a friends computer and her Windows XP recognised it fine. I am running Windows XP with Service Pack 2 and I automatically do all the recommended Windows Updates. Things I have tried: * Unplugging all other USB devices * Using USBs at back of computer * Using a paper clip to reset the Stone * Changing the Power Management options for USB as advised on Creative Media website * Updating my chipset device drivers * In Other Devices trying to reinstall drivers * Downloading new drivers and other software for my Zen Nano * In the BIOS switching off USB 2.0 * Rolling back from Windows Media to 0, removing Microsoft User-Mode Driver Frameworks Feature Pack .0, and downloading "Update for DRM - enabled Media Players (KB8922)" * Downlaoding Iomega patch * Running msconfig to remove all startup and Service files apart from Microsoft to ensure there is no conflict with other loaded software (still didn't work) Something has defintely changed in my computer to stop Zen from working and yet the USB ports work fine with my digital camera, printer, keyboard and mouse. Made the major mistake of following advice to delete USB controllers and ended up with no USB ports working (not good since my keyboard and mouse use USB). Had to do system restore to get back to square one. I have contacted Creative support several times and tried everything they suggested and they have tole me that there is nothing else I can try. Can find nothing else to try and with so many people experiencing the same problem with the Creative Zen's, I have come to the conclusion that the Zen is not compatible with many people's XP and only wish I had known all this before I bought it. If anyone has any other ideas I can try, please let me know, otherwise I will have to send my new Zen Stone back to Amazon as completely unusable. Goodness knows how anyone who doesn't know their way around a computer is ever supposed to get one working. I am really disappointed with Creative about this. I have seen this error before and normally if you close down you system and restart it will clear up but not this time. I even uninstalled and reinstalled firefox. started this morning when facebook went down for maintaince. that was about 8 it 2 now and I still can't clear it what can I try next?

Try closing any running instances of ''firefox.exe'' (and plugincontainer.exe) using something such as Task Manager. That should allow you to then restart Firefox.
As for iLivid. Possibly it also has associated apps or extensions with names not including the word iLivid. Looking at their own FAQs there are instructions to remove iLivid using the Windows Control panel, and mention of other bundled software that you may wish to remove. It seems it is more of a nuisacne rahter than out and out malware.

The software can be removed in a simple was like any other software:
