i updated my iphone 4 to iOS 4.3.5 and since then, whenever im playing music on ipod, it randomly jumps or stops playing tracks altogether. how can i fix this, please help me

I've been having this problem from day 1 when trying to play music on my pc before I add it to my iphone while its hooked up to my windows 7 pc, it just starts disconnecting and connecting over and over again and as soon as I stop playing music its fine. Try it in another vehicle see if it still happens, at least you can narrow it down to your phone or the car. My 4s play totally fine, I have never had any of those issues. Maybe its time to restore your phone and start over. I would also have someone else play their Iphone in your car, see if it happens to them. Or try yours in someone elses car. Good Luck!

I have the same problem. Often, the songs worked perfectly fine before, even the previous day! Changing the format does not help either, nor does restoring iPod settings. In another case, a song WILL work after settings are restored, but after a few plays will return to its old state of making the ipod reset.

Jumping to the track being played

I'm doing some housekeeping on my iTunes in one playlist A At the same time I am listening to music in playlist B. Every time a new track comes up, iTunes jumps to that track in playlist B and I then have to go back to playlist A and find my original place it in. It's driving me mad and I'm sure it didn't behave like this in the past. Is there a way I can stop it happening?

Well, maybe I don't get the iTunes DJ function - But I want to avoid having to deal with an extra window where I would have to add tracks to a playlist - because I'm exploring unknown music as well as managing list info (names, art, etc...) and wouldn't know what to add before I even stumble across tracks to peruse as I scroll through the main list - and I don't want iTunes to go randomly selecting things either. I simply want to be able to work through the main list and select tracks to play at my leisure while I scroll and then not be jumped back after I have scrolled away when I might well want to let the next song play -or to pick another song from where I happen to be at after the last song ends (without having to pick a new song before the last one ends)... I never used the DJ function, so I'll look into that more, but it doesn't look like that really solves this issue either.

Change the rice and dry for another couple of days. Then:
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The main problem is when I grab video clips from the desktop to the project window and play back on monitor of CS4, I get jerky video for few seconds and freeze it while playing audio perfectly up until to end of the clip. I have tried the same thing with APPro 1.5, the same thing has happened. When I play the SXS card thru Sony XDCAM EX1 on the Televion, I could not find any jerky video there. I have set the XDCAM EX1 and PProCS4 for PAL/HQ/1080i/25fps. Any other suggestions to try out.. Thx

I assume that the "desktop" is your C:/ drive and assume that is where you also run your Adobe application from.
Thats asking for exactly the issue you are experiencing.
PPRo needs multiple drives and setups to run correctly. Check the setup and specs required for the application.

Hi,
The WMI Performance Adapter (wmiApSrv) service provides performance library information from Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) providers to clients on the network. This service only runs when Performance Data Helper is activated.
This service is installed by default and its startup type is Manual. When started in the default configuration it will log on using the Local System account.
You can try troubleshooting the issue using Clean Boot to check if the issue is related to third-party software.

When the phone shows only the Apple logo it usually indicates an issue with the system software that is preventing the phone from completing the boot sequence. This can be remedied by putting the phone into DFU mode and restoring the system software. This will remove all data and software from the phone and put a fresh set of system software on the phone, so hopefully you have a recent backup.
To put your iPhone/iPod into DFU mode:
1. Make sure the iPhone/iPod is connected to the computer
2. Hold down the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for 8 seconds
3. Let go of the sleep/wake button and keep holding down the home button
4. If you are successful, a dialog box will pop up in iTunes stating that iTunes has detected an iPod/iPhone in recovery mode. Note that a successful DFU will result in a blank black screen on your iPhone/iPod.
5. Click OK, then click the restore button in iTunes.
After that you will be able to resync your data and be good to go.

A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
No content is affected by this procedure.

Voice memos, once correctly synced, will appear under your Music Library. Can you go through your music library to check?
