IPhone 4 keypad only shows !!!!! Instead of letters
the keypad on my iPhone 4 is only showing !!! Instead of letters . If i turn the phone so it's landscape then the letters appear.
any ideas?

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device, it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device. -
Hi, I can't restore my iphone 4. When he's about to finish the restoration, it stops. Don't let me turn on the iphone, and only show me the apple icon, or a "load itunes" icon. Someone can help me please? Thank you!

Downloaded a song from iTunes on my iPhone but only shows on my iPad. Setup for same iCloud.
If you are syncing music to the iPhone automatically, you won't be able to play tracks on the iPhone from iTunes, the music will be grayed out.
You can play them in iTunes if you Manually Manage the music on your iPhone though.
You could also Transfer the purchases from your iPhone to a computer. -

My Iphone 4 only shows 4 custom ringtones
I have a new iphone 4 and my friend told me how to send my ringtones to email, place them on my desktop, and then drag them into my itunes account to ringtones. I downloaded about 20 ringtones and drug them into my itunes and then sync my phone. When I check the ringtones in my phone it only shows that I have only 4 custom ringtones and not the 20. My friend showed me his phone and he has 9 custom ringtones in his phone. How do I get all my ringtones under my custom ringtones. Please help, very fustrating.

Check in iTunes under the ringtones tab (with the phone connected) that the custom tones are ticked then sync your phone. This has happened to me in the past.

Why will my 4S only show up in iTunes when it is connected to the laptop through USB? Even though I have ticked the box for the wifi sync and had no problems with it being plugged into the wall and still showed up in iTunes up until a few days ago. Help please !
Connect your iPhone to your computer and click on it, you should see an option under options for 'sync with this phone over wi-fi' unclick it and it should stop connecting over wifi.

Iphone Calendar only shows one when I have synced three...
I have synced two gmail and one yahoo email to my iphone and have allowed them to sync with the provided iphone calendar app. However, the calendar app only shows my icloud calendar. I have tried changing the settings for sync thru gogole and yahoo and bit are available and set to sync. I have also tried deleting them and re-adding multiple times.

My iPhone lists every song (songs that I have imported from cd's, but not purchased through iTunes) twice. iTunes only shows 1 instance of each song. If I delete a doubled up entry from the phone, it deletes the whole song. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Iphone 5c only shows 5g available storage
Just got an iphone 5c, supposedly 8g phone from Verizon. When I go in and check "about" it only shows that I have 5.4g capacity and 4g available. Same with my wife's phone and we have not put anything on it yet. When I check the "usage" it says 4g available and 1.3 used. Did or do I really have an 8g phone? I seem to be missing 3g somewhere-does the system usage not record in usage or capacity?

GlenIt's also in part due to how the iPhone reports its size. Any space used up by the OS and related apps is subtracted but not show as space used - for a computer, it would still show that space as being used.
So at least some of your space is the OS plus the built-in apps (my guess is around 2GB total, could be up to 3).
iOS subtracts that number from the capacity and shows you what's left as available for use (5.4). Mac OS will just show you how much space the computer's drive has in total, along with how much space is used and is free.
Does that make sense?

IPhone + Exchange only shows email addy as the sender, not my name
When sending an email from my iPhone, my email address shows (e.g. [email protected]) as the sender instead of my name (e.g. John Doe). This might be an issue with Apple's Exchange setup in iPhone OS 3.x but wondering if this might be an issue with Kerio.
With IMAP only accounts such as MobileMe and Gmail on the iPhone, there is a field to enter the sender's name (e.g. John Doe) in the setup. There is no such field when setting up an Exchange account on the iPhone with 3.x software. So, when I check my sent email, I do not see my name in the 'From' field; only my email address (e.g. [email protected]).

FIrst, login to www.icloud.com. If your name is right on iCloud, open Mail in the iCloud window and click on the gear icon (prefeences) You can fix your name there. On the iMac, I had to wait a few minutes, quit and restart Mail, and check preferences. Then on starting a new message, there was a pulldown under "From", that I used to select the one with my correct name and correct email address. I just deleted that blank email, and others since then default to the correct name.
Don't know if this will work for mail sent from the iPhone, but once the Cloud Mail is corrected, hopefully it will do the trick. -
