Iphone 4 not turning on and not registering in itunes - help!
My iphone 4 has switched itself off and now will not turn on or register in itunes - any tips? I have tried holding down the home and power button together for up to 1 minute to no avail - any tips??
Connect the phone to the Wall Charger for at least 30 minutes, then try holding both buttons again... ( Reset )

My iphone won't turn on and wont connect to itunes
I just got an iphone 4s from a close friend who was going to throw it away because they gave up on this problem and i dont want to. The iphone has never been exposed to water and I'm sure it's fine. It looks brand new, no scratches or anything of the sort.
I have tried charging it. I have tried connecting it to itunes (itunes wont find it no matter what i do. I have even restarted my computer with the iphone hooked up to it and that did not work either.)
I have tried to enter DFU mode. Nothing comes up. I am presuming that it is dead but I'm not sure. As i said, I just got it and it was from a friend. I have held down the home and start buttons for numerous amounts of time and nothing seems to be working. Is it actually a piece of trash? What should i do? I really want to fix this, as this may be my only chance to actually own an iphone.
Apparently at one time it did work. I'm not sure when it was broken or how it was broken but I am unsure of what to do.This is what you do

sadly most likely u have to buy a new battery unless u didint update ur ios cause people on ios 4 are having problems like that

Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)

ipod touch is disabled and locked and is not registering on itunes to enable and restore. I have no issues with losing whats been stored.
Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

Doublechecking. Have you also tried a complete uninstall of both iTunes and all the other related software components and then a reinstall? If not, try the instructions from the following document:

my iphone says 'iphone is disabled connect to itunes' and when i do connect it, it says 'iphone could not connect to itunes because it is locked with a password and you need to unlock it but it doesnt let me as it is diabled???????

I just updated my iTunes and now all of a sudden my iPhone is not syncing into iTunes. When I plug my iPhone into my computer, a thing pops up on my iPhone saying "Do you trust this computer" and I press "Trust" but it still doesn't do anything.
Sorted it out.
