IPhone 4 screen and keyboard wont rotate

My iPhone 4 screen won't rotate in Messages. The screen wont rotate and the keyboard doesn't rotate either. It works fine for my other apps but it just doesn't work in Messages. It used to work and then it stopped. I've tried double clicking on the menu key and checking if rotating function is unlocked and it is.
How do I fix this?

It's not a problem with the gyroscope if it works in other apps. Try a simple reset. Hold the home and power buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears.

The little lock has nothing to do with speaker volume. It means you have locked the rotation on your iPhone.
Have you tried using the volume control on the side of the iPhone to raise the volume when someone calls?

What do you mean "with the ends cut off"?
You swipe the screen upwards starting on this icon to open the camera app.

Macbook pro screen and keyboard light turns off

Hello everyone,
I have an issue with my macbook pro, if im sitting at a table and i glide my laptop slightly my screen and keyboard light goes off and i cant see anything.
I have to turn it left or right to try and get it back on.....same thing if i close my computer and reopen it again it wont wake up from sleep mode.
anyone else having a similer issue? is this software related?

That seems like a loose or failing cable.

You could try running the Apple HArdware Test, not always definitive however. If it shows an error code report back.

Lock screen and keyboard sounds have quit working. The settings are correct and the device is not muted. What else can I do to get the sounds working again?

Four days ago the lock screen and keyboard sounds quit working, but was able to reset the settings. Two days ago I had to do this and turn off the device and then restart it to get the sounds back. Today they suddenly went out and I can't get them working again. The settings are correct and the device is not muted. My OS is up to date. What else can I do to get the sound back?

Auto brightness of screen and keyboard backlight not working

Same problem here. I initially thought the auto-brightness problem had been fixed in 10.7.3, but sadly it hasn't. The auto-brightness works when the Mac starts, but I find it loses control and fails after wake from sleep.
I have telephoned AppleCare several times but they are not aware of this bug. They think a PRAM reset cures it, but it doesn't. As soon as the machine goes to sleep then auto-brightness fails on wake.
I have used the Apple Form to report the bug. It might eventually get fixed if others would kindly report it as well please. Here is the link:

What kind of noise?
The only things I can think of that make noise are fans and disks. Fans usually will not cause the computer to shutdown as you describe. My guess is your disk drive died. I hope you made a backup prior to start the ungrade.

Is it possible to have in the same room 1 server and 4 screens and keyboards wireless connected to this server? when I say 4 screens I mean only that, a screen with a keyboard and mouse without any more computers. So 4 people using the same computer at the same time...

Hello Biopolako and welcome to the Apple Boards.
The short answer is no.
Servers are designed to provide services to many users simultaneously but not an actual user space for more than one user at a time.
If each user has their own computer they can all share data stored on the server between their desktops or they could have network home directories and they could all store their working files and systems on the server but they can't use the operating system of the computer itself.

After you place the iPod in recovery mode using
iOS: Unable to update or restore
You have to then connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes. Are you doing that?

Well, if your Home button is broken, you won't be able to reset your phone, and if the Sleep/Wake button won't turn your phone on, it's a trip to the Apple store.
