IPhone 4 shipped. Apple Care not?

Any idea why one order would ship with apple care and one wouldn't?
Both preorders show shipped but one left the apple care off.

Dunno. My AppleCare says "Complete", my iPhone 4 is still "Prepared for Shipment".
But I'd not worry about it. If they mess it up you have a good amount of time to fix it; AppleCare doesn't kick in until 90 days/ 1 year. Far better they mess that up vs. one of your phones!

So my options are:
Create a new Apple ID, use that and lose all the apps I've purhcased with it (a fairly substantial amount)
Somehow Migrate these purchases over to a new Apple ID
Apple let me change the primary ID for the account
Anyone else ran into this before?
I've tried accessing the mail through a mail application using the correct server information, and trying both the old 6 character password and the one I had to change it too after they updated the security guidelines - neither work.
Help would be greatly appreciated as I can see more services down the line not working without the address being verified!

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You should not need to verify the old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

did you know you can buy refurbished iPhone 3GS for $79.00 from ATT online which would offer warrenty and also extended warrenty purchase options?? i don't understand why anyone would by an advanced device like this from an off the wall seller on eBay or especially CL...not a critism but rather a curiousity) seems risky, at best and no offers of guarantee of anything. I got my 3G from ATT new, over 2 years ago when it cost a premium and even then, if I had bought the extra apple care, it would have expired (time wise) and not warrenteed any longer.

Depends. In many countries now, you cannot buy regular AppleCare for an iPhone. You can buy AppleCare+ for one, but you can only get AppleCare+ through Apple.
In the USA see http://store.apple.com/us/product/S4575LL/A/applecare-for-iphone as in the USA, there no longer is AppleCare for iPhones, only AppleCare+ which is a different product (AppleCare+ combines extended warranty with Accidental Damage coverage).
You can get AppleCare+ by phone or at an Apple Store, but must do so at the time of purchase or within 30 days of purchase. If buying at an Apple Store, they will inspect the phone for pre-existing damage, and if over the phone, you must submit it to a remote diagnostic test.

Whats the cost to replace an iPhone 6+ if I take it into an Apple Store? The phone is a space grey 64gb model. I didn't purchase Apple Care with the phone nor was the device purchased in the US.

Although Apple has a program to replace iPhones, it depends upon the condition of the iPhone. If the damage is extensive, or the iPhone is in pieces, it may refuse to replace it.

Apple Care not taking calls!

Tried calling apple care a dozen times and get a recording to call back. I have tried to install Leopard 3 times (on my 4th now). This must be nightmare for Apple - that they can’t even handle the phone calls! First disappointment I have ever had with an Apple product and I own them all!

I ordered the Iphone 6 on 9/15/2014. I have been already charged the amount due on my cc, and have since received 3 shipping dates, that as of today have already past. First ship date of 10/7/2014 on my original agreement, 2nd ship date of 10/3/2014 which shows on Verizon Wireless online order, and 10/8/2014 which was emailed to me by Verizon on 10/7/2014.
As of yet no tracking number, no shipping information. I was on the phone last night for 56 minutes and 14 seconds. The first gal I spoke with said that she had the tracking info and was calling Fed ex to see where the phone was, she put me on hold because she wrote down the incorrect tracking information as it was not pulling up with FedEx. She than must have either on purpose or not, transferred me another department, where I had to for the umpteenth time explain why I was calling. Customer Rep #2 said there was no tracking information at all and to call back again today. I'm beyond grumpy. And I swear to Bob , if I get that same message everyone else is getting about How excited everyone is to get a new device, and its a high demand product and to check back on the order as it can be updated from time to time. I will seriously consider going to Cricket phones.

Since this is an issue that has carried over from one device to a new device, it seems like the source of this issue may be from your data in your backup. IPhone 4 bumper/Apple dock not compatible

Sorry to have to tell users this, but the $29 Apple bumpers that supposedly improve iPhone 4 reception will render the phone incompatible with Apple's $29 dock. It's easy enough to take the bumper off every night and put it on again the next morning, but it's also inconvenient and not in keeping with Apple's "everything works" technology.

I am a big fan of lists that have checkboxes next to the items that are supported. However, with iOS 4.3 I think my "imagination" and "mistakenness" will finally be reality...so my question is mute.

IPhone 4 and Apple TV not streaming all video through apps

I have an iPhone 4 and tried every streaming combination I could think of. However my iMovie app, iTunes video preview and MobileMe gallery quicktime video's do not work any longer. I am not sure if it is because I updated my iRemote app on the iPhone. It was great having those apps work because I could save a video and send it to my Mobile Me Gallery and launch the video and then stream it to my Apple TV 2 generation. All of those apps only stream the audio now, but no video. Anyone else tried these apps with success or had the same problem? My Youtube and iTunes video works fine.
