Iphone 4 since upgrade to ios 5.1.1 no longer works with made for itunes, iphone devices.
Ever since I upgraded to IOS 5.1.1 my Iphone no longer works for playing music thorugh my Apline car unit, My Logic 3 clock radio, and a Next made for ipod device.
I can sync through ITunes on the PC and can also play videos through the HDMI adapter. My wifes iphone 4s and the kids hand me down iphone 3s still play fine through these made for Itunes , Ipod , Iphone devices.
I want to downgrade back to the prior IOS I had before Apple encouraged me to install this bugged one. How do I go about getting a legit non jailbroken prior IOS version installed on my Iphone?
Is Apple aware of this issue , as I have seen blogs about this it is affecting other people? Will this issue be resolved with ios 6?
Can I get the beta ?

Agreed. Same thing here. Just bought a late model Alpine INE-S920Hd and it is all kinds of broken. I think this is happening because Apple shifted the music and video. Totally buggy. Bluetooth refuses to work properly, too. A2dp keeps stealing the audio from Pandora in the Alpine interface. The ipod controls dont work at all.

This was driving me crazy. Sync between Outlook 2007 and my iphone was working perfectly on ios 6 - I primarily sync Calendar, contacts, and notes.
Then everything went bizerk with ios 7... All of a sudden nothing was getting syncronized, but rather multiple Calendars and Contacts showed up in Outlook 2007. Disabling Calendar, contacts, and Notes in my iphone's icloud settings did the trick. Now I have ONE Calendar and ONE contact list in Outlook, fully in sync with my iphone. -
When I sync my iPhone 5 to my Mac (which I do regularly, since I do not back up my devices to iCloud), the playlist I'm trying to import is checked, but when the sync is complete, the playlist does not appear in my phone. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
Did you try t open the links by pasting them in the Firefox location bar?

I had similar problems with both my iphone and ipad when using my wifi, but not when using cellular. Turned out to be a Comcast issue with their implementation of DNSSEC validation. You can see my full explanation on my blog at http://blog.trif.com/?p=295. The site is being blocked by Comcast because the Microsoft portal does not meet DNSSEC validation rules. This applies to Comcast DNS Servers 75.75.75.75 and 75.75.75.76. -

Did you install Lion on an empty partition, or did you upgrade Snow Leopard? If you upgraded, I'd not recommend erasing it, since your backups are apparently gone. It's doubtful Snow Leopard will recognize them.
It's not just backups on the drive either, there are other important things on there, so why won't they show?
Mixing Time Machine backups and other data is not a good idea. See #3 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. It sounds like the whole disk is corrupted.
I just really don't understand how this happened. Could it not be an issue with WD because they haven't issued firmware to support Lion yet?
If this is a simple external HD, connected by USB or FireWire, no, unless you installed some of WD's software on it. That shouldn't prevent it from being seen at all, but anything's possible. -

Can you be a little more specific? Do you mean that when you take photos with your iPhone camera or iPad camera they are not showing up in the photo stream? Do you mean that you are trying to sync your photos to a computer and that they are not syncing? Just not sure what you are asking?

I am completly stumped here, Since Upgrading to iOS 5 on my ipad 2 I can no longer access the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab in settings, meaning I can't add my other mail accounts or change settings, and I'm needing to sort this now.
Basically Going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars results in crash to home, I've rebooted, hard reset and returned to factory settings, non of it seems to remedy it, does anyone know of this bug? or does anyone know a work around etc?, I've had a look around altho there are many Mail issues non seem to directly relate to my issue.

Apple is seriously dropping the ball!! Just the other day, I downloaded an app called v-downloader... Its an app that allows you to download videos through a 3rd party browser. Well what it did, was automatically place restrictions on my phone... I couldnt send pics, and it removed access to safari, facetime, messages, etc... so maybe try removing any recent app purchases. Also, I would reccomend that you restore your phone. it will redo the update off your computer and come through with less glitches

To view the version, use Settings > General > About and look down the list of details shown there; that will usually display the software version.
iOS 4.3.1 is the last version of iOS for the iPhone 3G.
To upgrade iOS (if you're not already running 4.3.1), connect your iPhone to your Mac or Windows system via the cable, launch iTunes if necessary, and follow the instructions that should appear.
If you are already running iOS 4.3.1, there is no further upgrade.

since upgrading to a domain network itunes has asked to be re authorised, this also happens when upgarding from windows 8 to 8.1. my next de-authorise all is In January, but i cant wait that long what can i do
If a computer's taking up multiple authorizations, try deauthorizing it even if it says it's not authorized. If that doesn't work, go back to the article you asked this question from and use the link to contact Apple under the 'To deauthorize all computers associated with your Apple ID' section of it.
