IPhone 4 stuck in Apple logo screen
I have an iPhone 4, that I had to replace the LCD, power switch - proximity sensor cable, and home button on.
After I had made the repairs (after making sure everything was reassembled correctly) I then proceeded to turn the device on.
Now it will only display the Apple logo at startup.
When I turn the phone off (via the Home + Sleep/wake method) it will sometimes revert back to the Apple logo screen.
I have reset the phone (gone through recovery mode) at least 5 times to correct the issue, yet it still is not working correctly.
The only software change that had been made to it, was that I had updated it to the most recent version of iOS. And that was approx. 2 weeks before the issues with the phone.
Is there another solution to fixing this phone, or is it basically done?
(If I can, I really need to get this phone fixed (if at all possible).
Thank-you.
Thank-you for the reply.
I have checked the charging port. It checked out to be good.
I then checked the following flex connectors:
Digitizer - it checked out ok
LCD - While it did check out ok. I wonder if it might have a defect in it. (because it does flicker)..
Earpiece - checked out ok.
Front Camera - checked out ok.
Power switch / proximity sensor cable.- Bad...
During my testing of the phone, any time I would turn the power on to the phone. If I unplugged the connector for the power switch. The iOS would continue to load, but if I left it plugged in. Then it would stay on the Apple logo.
I will reply to this thread after I receive the replacement part, and I have had a chance to check it out (to make sure that takes care of the problem.

Iphone stuck at apple logo screen, Won't restart, or show up in Itunes!!!
I was texting, then the screen froze(ever since the 2.0 update it has froze many times so I thought nothing of it), then I tried to do a restart(hold sleep, and home button for 10 seconds), then it never restarted. It stayed at the apple logo screen forever. It wont show up in Itunes. I don't know what to do.
Any ideas?yeah mine was doing that too.. its some kind of software that you have (an app probably)
so plug in your iphone to the computer and hold down the home and sleep button (like a restart) but when the apple logo shows back up, let go of the sleep button but keep holding the home button and then you'll have to do a full restore... -
IPhone stuck on Apple logo!!! PLEASE HELP!
I was restoring my iPhone and on my computer there showed an information that I have to wait a few seconds and my phone will start working again. There appeared that Apple logo on my phone and it's stuck.... what should I do? Please help!
Don't wink, there always have a solution for problem. The following steps with a three-party sofeware which named iPhone Data Software can help you to solve it.
First, fix the problem of iPhone stuck on Apple logo screen
Second, restore data from iPhone directly
Or
Third, recover lost data from iTunes backup
When the lost files are recovered, you can keep your Contacts, SMS, Photos, Videos, Calendar and Notes on your computer as a backup, to avoid losing your data the next time. -
Iphone 5 Stuck at Apple Logo Screen
I finally updated my iphone 5 to latest ios when it begin to boot up. It got stuck at the apple logo screen and it been their for 30 mins i trun my phone off put it back on. I did a hard re-reset etc..
Also after a while it would go black real quick then return to apple logo screen.
I dont want to restore my phone because i dont have a recent backup for everything i have on my phone as of right now.
Is their any way i can backup my iphone at the apple logo screen then restore it?
Or any other methods to escape this apple logo screen of death?Unfortunately, you are going to have to try to restore it. You will have to do this by putting your phone into DFU (recovery) mode.
1. Open iTunes, plug your sync cable into your computer, but do not plug in your phone.
2. Press and hold the power button and the home button at the same time. When the screen goes black, let go of the power button but continue to hold the home button for about 15 seconds. Once you do this, plug the sync cable into your phone.
3. iTunes should recognize your phone and tell you it's in recovery mode.
4. Restore your device.
Hope this helps. -

Iphone stuck on apple logo and loading bar.
Hey guys,
My itunes seemed to crash while i was restoring my phone and now its stuck with an apple logo and an empty loading bar, also my sleep/wake/lock button doesnt work so i cant enter recovery mode, please someone help or point me in the right direction!
AnthonyI will help you to solve your problem, don't worry just follow as I say.
1. Firstly it is not a big problem just do as I say.
2. Connect your device to the PC and then launch the iTunes software.
3. And then go for the option of 'Restore' in that iTunes.
But if your device doesn't respond to it.
4. Then try to update the iTunes software to latest version.
And using windows OS means you need to uninstall the whole previous version of software and need to download and install the latest version of it.
5. And if you are having the third party apps such as Antivirus and etc are installed then it will object your phone to respond to iTunes. So you need to update your iOS software at any cost, which is the only way to fix iPhone stuck on Apple logo.
All the best -
help iphone stuck on apple logo i bought second hand iphone 3gs running recently ios 6.1.1 i dont want to update to other ios help me
Try a reset by pressing and holding the home and reset buttons.
If that does not work, put the device in DFU mode (google it) and restore.
There is no reason to stay on 6.1.1.
6.1.2 and 6.1.3 are merely bug fixes, they neither add or remove functionality. -
Help: iPhone 3GS Stuck on Apple logo screen
Today my iPhone was not connecting to the wifi network so I decided to "Reset Network" on the iPhone. Well, during the reset, it went to the Apple logo screen and is stuck in that screen. I cannot turn off the phone, tried to reset pressing the home and on/off together for 10 seconds and it is still stuck on that screen. I tried to restore but iTunes does not recognize that the phone is plugged to the computer. Has anyone seen this? Do I have to send it to Apple for repair?
Try this article...

This is not a normal result from trying to reset network settings... -
Iphone 4 stuck on apple logo screen

I did the hard restart holding down the home key and connecting it to my mac. Itunes says in in recovery mode and ask if i want to restore. I click yes. It goes to the extracting software and then verifing with apple. After that back to the apple logo screen. Any ideas?

IPod Touch 4G Stuck On Apple Logo Screen
So I just recently jail broke my iPod touch 4G and was using iFile to delete some default apps and stuff that was taking up space on my device. I only need to use the Music app, so all of the other default apps can be erased. I must have accidentally deleted something in regards to the music app because I am not able to transfer music onto the device using iTunes. I turned my iPod off then and turned it back on and this is where the major problem came in. It's stuck on the Apple Logo screen and will not boot back up or anything. I have tried putting it in DFU mode and doing every kind of reset or restore and none of that has worked. Now it doesn't even show up in iTunes. Unfortunately I don't remember every thing I deleted when using iFile, so I cannot provide much information regarding that. My iPod has worked perfectly fine until I jail broke it, which I probably shouldn't have even done but none the less if someone has any possible genius solution to my problem, I would appreciate you leaving a comment. Thanks.
See if yo missed anything here:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Ipod 5 stuck on apple logo screen
last night(about 22 hours ago) i tried to update my ipod 5 to ios 8.2 I clicked the install button and then left my ipod on my desk charging. I came back about an hour later and it was stuck on the apple logo screen but with no progress bar. Every minute or so so about 10 minutes it started to glitch out and shut down right when the lock screen would show up. It has been on the apple logo screen since then and i just got back from school to find it stuck. Occasionally it will get a little dimmer, but about a minute later it will be bright again.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

hey i changed my iphone touch screen and my iphone doesnt come up anymor it stuck on apple logo please someone help me !!!!
Nothing that we can help you with. You screwed up your phone trying to fix it yourself. What would you like us to do?
Apple won't even touch your phone now. Either buy a new phone or bring it in to a 3rd party repair shop and see if it can be salvaged. -
Imac 5k stuck on apple logo screen after latest update
Hi - i have a magazine deadline and a major issue:
i've been having loads of kernel panics (see thread here Brand new imac 5k kernel panic) and having seen there was a new update figured it would be worth installing it to see if it fixed them as nothing so far suggested by apple support has helped. Once it had downloaded the update the OS said it needed to reboot to finish installation. It got half way through the loading bar on the apple logo screen and got stuck. I left it an hour, came back still nothing. Left it another hour and it was still just stuck half way. I rebooted into diagnostics and ran that and it said everything was fine but further reboots just get as far as halfway through the bar. I'm now stuck as the computer was only a month or so old and i hadn't yet set up back up on it. I was still in the process of getting everything configured and over from my old machine. Problem is I have a bunch of photos that were transferred on to it that i shot 2 weeks ago and I need them for a magazine deadline tomorrow and apple support options could only call me back on Thursday - if anyone can suggest anything i will be VERY grateful. I've already tried SMC and PRAM resets.I did that, a fresh OS install and it worked for about 4 hours then i got a kernel panic
