IPhone 4 stuck on charging screen
The story:
Last night, I was in bed listening to music with headphones plugged in. I was listenting to music for awhile and then noticed my iPhone charge was at 7%... before I started, It was at 13%.
So I got up, put it to charge and went to bed (not looking at the screen whats-so-ever).
Waking up this morning,
I found that my iPhone was plugged in and it was at the no charge screen and it was charging.
I tried various things, as listed below:
1. Using my wall charger (Which does work, my other iPhone 4 charges on it)
2. Using wire to laptop
- Restarting laptop with it plugged in
3. Going into DFU mode (Couldn't get to work)
4. Using a different wire (For both wall charger and connecting to laptop)
5. Using a different wall-charger (with two different wires)
That's about it...
Please keep in mind that my battery is perfectly fine, never had a problem. I do not have Apple Care no longer, can't call up or go to store.
By all means, Please try to give me instructions that do not require restoring as my backup is pretty **** old.

Hello, I have an iPhone 4s, I noticed that when I am on a call (Phone) and I am done and I go to hang up, the iPhone is stuck on the screen and can not get new calls or call to a new call
Is there a case on the iphone?
If so, then remove it and see if that solves it.
Otherwise, make an appointment at the genius bar. -

IPod 5th Gen Stuck On Charging Screen And Wont Turn Back On
So my ipod was fully charged and then just randomly shut off... I plug it back in and it goes to that charging screen it goes to when it actually dies on you.. its been stuck like that for over 3 hours and wont turn back on... I cant hold my home button and power button down cause a few months ago my home button spring broke... so thats not an option... and my ipod wont register to my computer for me to restore it.. can somebody please help me?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPod in recovery mode use one of these programs to place the iPod in recovery mode
For PC
RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
If necessary:
Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
For MAC or PC
The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

My ipod touch is stuck on the charging screen, and will not turn on.
Have you tried any of these other steps?
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into Recovery Mode.
DFU Mode:
Plug your device into your computer.
Turn off the device.
Hold the Power button for 3 seconds
Hold the Home button without releasing the Power button for 10 seconds
Release the Power Button but keep holding the Home button
Keep holding the Home button until you are alerted by iTunes saying that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode
*Make sure the device screen is blank and no logos are present
If none of that works, make a Genius Bar appointment or contact Apple for repair. -

IPhone 3G stuck on apple screen
My iPhone 3G has been stuck on the screen that has the lit up apple for 2 days now. Now my computer or iTunes will not recognize the phone and I'm unable to use it.
This happened 2 days after I updated to the latest OS. I didn't reboot my phone (pressing both keys at the same time) until 2 days later when the phone started to freeze while updating the apps in the app store. When the phone went to the apple screen it never fully loaded and hasnt sincce... Any ideas?Recovery mode
1. Disable all firewall and antivirus/spyware apps running on your PC
2. Start iTunes. Be sure you have the latest version 9.1.1 (11)
3. Connect phone to a USB port on the computer, not an external hub or keyboard port.
4. Press both the home and sleep/wake buttons until the Apple logo reappears, then continue pressing the home button alone until iTunes sees the phone in recovery mode.
5. Follow the prompts to restore.
Note that if your iPhone was jailbroken or hacked in any way (i.e. illegally unlocked), updating and this method may not work and may leave the phone permanently bricked. -
Ipod touch stuck on charging screen
I have an ipod touch that will not turn on. I am not sure what software version it is running because I cannot check it. I bought it for my niece and it has been stuck like this for some months now. I am just getting the opportunity to get home and check it.
Here is what is happening:
1. Stuck on the screen with a charging icon (plugged it in to several power sources and it still will not turn on)
2. Plugged it into itunes and it is not being recognized (Tried to put it in DFU mode. Software downloaded but it does not complete the process. I get an error 2001 error) (did this by holding the power key for 10 seconds, then the home key for 10 seconds simultaneously, then let go of power button until I seen an option to restore)
3. I am using itunes 10.5.1
I have checked several forums and people suggest the restore, and I have attempted this several times. Reset my MacBook Pro which has software version 10.6.8. Any other suggestions?Thank you for taking out the time to write any suggestions. I looked to the link, but still no success. I have tried to do the restore on 3 different computers (deskstop, Macbook Pro, Laptop). Still no success. In fact, I am also getting an error 1602. When the device is not plugged in, it does not come on at all. As stated, I have attempted to plug it in to numerous power sources.
I have done the restore countless times prior to the issue on other iDevices so I am pretty sure that I am doing it properly. The device will not reboot at all. I have held both buttons for countless minutes and no action is happening. The only time anything happens on the device is when it is plugged in. I get a battery signal and no matter how long it stays plugged in, it does not turn on or show an increase in the battery. -

IPhone 6 stuck in red screen starting loop and won't restore.
Ok, so i've been using my iPhone 6 happily since release day, the only problem I had was a flickering white line at the bottom of the screen while browsing certain webpages and using certain apps. It got to the stage where it was annoying me enough to make me contact apple support. The advisor told me to reset my settings and that should fix the problem... It didn't, it has just made things a whole lot worse! My phone failed to restart after resetting my settings, and has been stuck in a startup loop ending with a red screen for about an hour now. I tried a hard reset with no luck, and now I've just tried restoring it using iTunes, but the restore process says it will take 25 HOURS! ..After about five minutes, and while still connected to iTunes, my phone started going back through the red screen loop and the restore looks like it won't do anything. Please help! I tried to contact apple live chat again, but conveniently it's not available at this moment...
Cheers,
Mattyes, just to say a big thank you to Apple ...realizing today while browsing these forums that I haven't been the only one. Happened to me when I updated from 8.1.2 to 8.1.3 OTA... device (iPhone 4s) stuck in recovery mode ... how nice, this has never ever happened to me after years of using iOS, whether I updated OTA or via iTunes, never. I was then delighted to experience the restore process ... wasted hours doing that thanks again ! (I have many apps and a big backup so...). Seriously, this is unacceptable.

Iphone 6+ stuck with white screen
Since today morning my iphone 6+ got stuck in white screen, purchased two months back and it is working normal till last night.
Not sure what went wrong, is it background IOS 8.2 update started? and failed in middle causing this issue?
Does any one see this issue? Any suggestions on how to recover from this state? Thanks for advice, any idea what went wrong? Did anyone reported such issue?
Unfortunately i am out of station to do this, can i get support from Apple
store or Verizon store to recover device?
If so, i will ask my wife or friend to stop by store.
Thanks
Ramji
