IPhone 4 Sync Photos Tab

When I try to sync photos to my iphone 4 it does not sync all of them. On the Sync Photo Tab it says 2511 photos but when I sync it only uploads 80 photos.

Try deleting the photo cache from your computer and then re-try the photo sync and see if they then copy over - the location of the cache, and how to delete it, is on this page http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1314

The solution in my case was to start iPhoto and let it update the library, even thu itunes was set up to sync with Aperture.

IPhone 4s syncs photo album names, no photos

I have the new iPhone 4S and am having trouble syncing the calendar (Outlook) and photos (the album names appear, but no photos or video) from my Windows XP computer.

Mine is doing the same thing & iTunes says 6Gb of memory is taken by the pictures, but nothing is there!

I have maxed my memory with photos and videos so really need to transfer to laptop but when i sync and select kodak it crashes and when i choose windows media it un syncs...any ideas please?

Photos/videos in the iPhone's Camera Roll are not synced, they are imported.
You need to contact Kodak regarding a problem with their app when trying to import photos/videos from the iPhone's Camera Roll.

IPhone 6, syncing photos

Just got an iPhone 6 & want to transfer the photos from my old iPhone across to the new one. They've been downloaded into iPhoto & was going to use iTunes to upload them. The option isn't available. In iTunes all I get is a grey rotating circle, not even iPhoto library to choose which albums to use. Any ideas please?

Sorting Photos in my iPhone Albums.
I'm a commercial photographer. I just upgraded to iPhone 6+ and synched my photo portfolio album thru iTunes. Yup, it scrambled ALL the photos in the album. Makes me nuts. The iPhone tries to sort in some unexplainable formula … by subject? …. by date? The Apple tech couldn't answer this. No offense. Sooooooo
Here's the solution. Build the album on your MAC in a folder. Name the folder 'iPhone Portfolio' [whatever you like]. Now name the photos all the same thing 'JoeSchmo' and add a numerical sequence beginning with 001 then .jpg Should look like this …. JoeSchmo001.jpg Then JoeSchmo002.jpg
You can automate the renaming of your photos in Photomechanic or in a similar file management. I have 156 photos in my portfolio album. [It helps to reduce the photo size. Mine are 7mb. They open instantly].
Now synch your iPhone thru iTunes, select the album and tap Apply. It works. Sorted exactly as I designed. Knowing my portfolio and it's order is really important to me when showing a potential client. 'Can you shoot food?' Sure. Here you go. 'Can you shoot pro sports?' Sure. And so on.

I can't see the photo tab when trying to sync my iphone from itunes

For some reason, all the tabs are not showing on itunes when trying to sync my iphone. The 'photos' tab in particular is missing. It shows I can scroll to the right to possibly see the rest of the tabs, but when I scroll across to the right, it moves the whole page across, but nothing from itunes moves across with the page. Sorry, it's hard to explain. I hope you can help.

Sorry, it's probably really easy to do, but I'm not sure how to change it. I have a Mac book. Can you help? It's strange that it seems to be the only tab missing, and only when I connect my iphone to sync, it doesn't happen when I sync my ipod. It's weird, and it never used to disappear. I need the photo tab back

Sync photos from iPhotos to iPhone

Can someone help me please? I would like to sync specific photos from my iPhoto to my iPhone, however the Photos tab in iTune doesn't have that feature - when you check the box "Selected albums" it only gives me the choice of: "Last Import" or "Last 12 months". How do I tell it I want to be MORE specific???

You have to set up an album in iphoto to be able to see it in the photo pane in itunes in order to sync.
Move the desired pictures into the album, go to itunes and select the album and sync.

Thanks! I called Apple, and we did a software update. While the phone now will light up and work for about 30 seconds before going dark again, the representative said I would probably get a replacement phone if I took it in. You are right - probably a hardware failure!

I have a problem when I sync photos from my pc to my iPhone. I do exactly like it says here ("To sync photos from a folder on your hard disk to your device"), but when I sync, my photos appear two times in two different folders in my Device..
When I did it two years ago (I think) it was ok. But since then, every time my photos appear two times and I can't understand why..

Photos synced to your phone are not duplicated. iPhone organizes synced photos the same way iPhoto on a Mac does. All photos synced to your phone are stored in your Photos Library. The various albums/folders merely contain pointers to the actual photos, which are stored in your Photos Library, they are not duplicates, & no , you can't delete the Photo Library.
Its always been like this.

Sync photos? Why is itunes not able to do that?

Add photos to the library, put the photos into the folder that's supposed to be synced with the ipad, drag and drop photos onto the ipad icon. Itunes either says it's copying the photos, and then it hasn't, or it doesn't do anything.
WHAT is the simplest way to get additional photos onto my ipad without erasing all the current photos, without e-mailing them to myself one by one and downloading, or without setting up dropbox and downloading it from that.
We are talking about jpegs and tifs. Nothing cutting edge here. This shouldn't be so difficult.

Open itunes, connect iphone, go to photos tab, select what you want to be on the iphone, sync.

Cannot find photo tab in new iTunes 10 trying to sync all my pic from computer to iPhone

I am completely with you, this is a very frustrating change. I do not understand why there isn't any more sync photos tab on the "new and updated" version. This does not seem new or updated in anyway. If I am not looking in the correct area, I would like to be notified of that. I have clicked everywhere and as someone has already stated on a discussion board that the only options are music, movies, tv show, podcasts, books and apps. What happened to the photos??? Assistance and direction is greatly appreciate.

Photos tab not working correctly when syncing to iphone

When I connect my iphone to itunes and then select it and the photo tab, I can not change any of the settings (ie my pictures selections, what folder to select. the only thing it will allow is the syncing of all photos in my pictures, (dont want 14, 247 photos on my phone). I have created a folder with select photos that I want to sync with iphone, but cant select it. anyone have a solution. do I have to delete current version of itunes and reload it again..?

OK I RESOLVED IT! I removed most of the photos from "My Pictures" and than I agreed to sync all of the remaining ones. Only then did it light up everything else and allow me to change the settings.

After iPhone connects to iTunes, can not find the photos tab for sync. Thus, I can not copy some phototes from my Macbook to iPhone, But my iTouch can do this. I don't know why.

If you are using a mac, you use iphoto.
If you are on windows, you use whatever camera software windows uses.
Itunes does not import photos.

Photos tab won't load to sync to Ipad or Iphone

This is a really annoying problem - I used to have all my photos synced to my Ipad but now the option to sync doesn't load. Instead within the photos tab on Itunes there is an endless spinning wheel that never loads. The problem occurred a couple of months ago after either an Itunes upgrade or when I put Mavericks on my Imac but I thought it was because I was using an Ipad 1st generation. Now I have an Iphone 5s and Ipad air and still cannot sync.
I spoke to apple customer support (sic) and was passed back and forwards between IOS, Imac and Ipad experts who all had no idea about the problem, said they had not come across it before and thought the fault laid with another expert. The call lasted virtually 2 hours without any solution - but at least they all asked how I was today!
I'm running Itunes 11.1.3 & OSX 10.9.1. My photos are stored within Iphoto 9.5.1 - software on both Ipad and Iphone are up to date.
Please help someone!

So here's an update to my May 13 post. Today the problem fixed itself -- sort of. I now have two iCloud inboxes in my Appe Mail -- they are redundant except if I examine the details, one has the name of an outgoing server and one doesn't. I'm sort of afraid to delete either.
If someone sends me an email to my MobileMe address, I now get two copies. And my old Notes have re-appeared so they are synching once again.
But, hey Apple, I'd be happier if you told me what was going on? I did nothing today to cause this thing to come back to life. You did something so you must know there's a problem. What is it?
