Iphone 4 unlocked white screen

My unlocked iphone 4 has nothing but a white screen. I can't figure out what is wrong or how to fix it. I might add apple thinks they still own my hardware even thought i've paid for it. IOS 6.1.3 has removed user controls, which is not right. I own that phone I should be able to do as i wish with it.

Noone at Apple is going to read your comments here so you may as well leave them out.
Have you tried some of the many things listed in iPhone help under Restoring the phone, tried a reboot holding power and home, etc?

Here is what you should do turn the device on hold the home button and the power button until the device turn off keep holding and when the device reboots release the power button but hol the home button until it shows the iTunes logo then restore it

Working iPhone 3G but white screen

I have an iPhone 3G and my screen went white and Ive tried connecting it to the computer and restoring and still blank screen. The touch screen works I can shut off the phone by pressing the power button and swiping it at the top of the screen I can even answer incoming calls by pressing at the bottom of the screen. I think its just the display that's broken. Any suggestions as to how to fix it?

If it is under warranty, you should be able to take it back to the Apple store and have it replaced. Apparently it is a loose connection between the "guts" of the phone and the LCD that causes this.
If it is not under warranty, I have found that pinching the top corner by the power button will tighten the connection enough to turn the phone on, after which time it should work fine. You will probably have to do this each time you unlock the screen. I have been using mine this way for about 6 months or so, and it has only just now gotten worse.

3. If that doesn't work, try restoring the device.

- Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.

Iphone 3gs shows white screen for a second and reboots.

While I play games, watch videos or do anything, the iphone displays a totally white screen for less than a second and then it reboots. After this it starts normally and then this all happens again after about 10-20 mins.
Plz give me any suggestions to fix it. What is the problem? any hardware prob??

IPhone recently rebuilt - "white screen of death"?

i recently rebuilt my other iPhone 3g and when i finished rebuilding it and slapped it all back together, i reformated it and it finished but upon reaching the "slide for emergency" screen the phone froze completely for about 10 minutes.
so i shut down the phone holding home and power and after restarting it again i got the "white screen of death" and now im stuck, help?

Why was the phone disassembled?
The problem could be just about anything, you might be out of luck, and I doubt you will get a useful response here as we are iPhone users, not certified Apple techs.
Since you are probably out of luck with this iPhone maybe check some forums on repair sites to see if you can get an answer.

Iphone stuck at white screen, not recognised.

Hey guys, need some help on an iphone i bought off ebay.
It doesn't react to any buttons being pressed, and the phone lights up with a plain white screen when its plugged into a computer/charger.
You cannot turn the phone on/off or reset it. No buttons work.
I'm just curious if there is any way to fix this error.

IPhone has a white screen

I dropped my iphone the other day (not from very high up) and immediately after the screen went white. I was able to answer a call while the screen was still white by touching the screen as I normally would. I tried restarting it but that didn't work. I can still hear when I receive texts. I took it in since it's under warranty but was told that the little water indicator inside was pink. I did get the phone wet 7 months ago but never had a problem with it as a result of that. Apple won't fix it under warranty because of this. Is there any way to fix this? I really would appreciate your help! Thanks!

Dropped iPhone 3G - now white screen

The day after picking up my iPhone 3G, I pulled it out of my pocket and set it on a counter. It slipped and fell about 30" to the floor, now the screen is totally white with a thin, faint green line down the center. iTunes still recognizes the phone and it will sync.
I have done all the resets and restores suggested, including a new phone reset, nothing works.
AT&T says to deal with Apple, Apple says deal with AT&T. No insurance offered thru AT&T or it wouldn't be an issue.
Anyone know what I can do?

I am 400 miles from the nearest Apple store, so I guess I am outta luck there.
I called Apple about repairing it and what they told me is that for $199, they will replace it with a refurbished phone. Unfortunately, AT&T has no insurance or replacement program, so I guess I am stuck with a brick here and a two year commitment to that brick.
Anything I do on my own voids the warranty, and with all the problems that Apple has had with this phone, I would like to have some coverage.
Why doesn't Apple or AT&T offer insurance on these things. Every other phone AT&T sells has insurance coverage, but not the iPhone. If the dang thing can't survive a 30" fall then insurance is a must have.
I am starting to rant now, but this is frustrating. I have always stayed away from Apple products because they are so proprietary. Guess I should have stuck with my own advice.

I was updating my Iphone 5 to the new update and left it plugged in to finish the update. When I came back it was stuck on the white loading screen and a message on the computer said iTunes could not connect to the Iphone because it was locked with a passcode and wants me to enter the passcode. However I cannot enter the passcode because the phone won't let me. I cannot get the iphone to shut off or restart as my top button hasn't been very responsive lately. Any suggestions I leave the country for a month on the fourth and need a working phone asap.

Iphone 3G's White Screen After Dropping

Hello, I was wondering what to do? Recently, I dropped my iphone on the ground and the screen turned white. I cannot restore it, nor turn it off. Although i have gotten so used to it that i know a lot of tuff and decided to click the ipod button, or at least where it is supposed to be. i randomly started clicking and music started playing. Same thing hen my friend called me. It works. You can hear the sounds and you can still go on apps. But your screen will still stay white. What should I do?

I had the same thing happen about a year ago. Apple basically told me I was out of luck and that my warranty didn't cover it because it had been dropped. It was going to be $200+ to repair it. So I just went onto eBay and bought a new glass screen and new LCD screen for like $40. Fixed it myself with some help from YouTube videos. Very simple, and I've had no experience repairing electronics. I have had trouble with my phone freezing up and such, but I think that's from the drop itself since it was a pretty bad one. Hope that gives you another option to consider if they blow you off.
