IPhone 4 update made photos blurry
I updated my iPhone to the iPhone 4 update and when I browse the photos in my photo library, they all appear blurry and pixelated when they were fine before and they are clear on my macbook. Any suggestions?
With the phone connected in iTunes, remove the sync for the photos and then resync. It should clear it up. When I updated my 3G, I noticed that it took the photos and reoptimized them. I also read a number of similar posts here and the resync corrects it.

Photos not syncing between Mac and iPhone since update to Photos on Mac.
Ever since I updated to Photos on my Late 2013 macbook pro retina, photos are not syncing between it and my iPhone 6. Both are updated to the most recent software update. Photo stream is on. Does anyone have this problem or know a solution?
You will have to go the the Photos tab in iTunes when you connect the iPhone. Then reset the photo sync options. They were reset with the upgrade to use iCloud by default, but you can change the settings back to sync folders, just like before.

No Photos on my iPhone since Update to iOS 5
I made the Update to iTunes 10.5 on my Notebook with Windows XP and the Update to iOS 5 on my iPhone 3GS.
I had a lot of Problems (the Backup had an Error, my outgoing Mails were all deleted in all Mail Accounts, the Synchronisation of Music and Apps needs a lot of Synchronisations and a lot of Time and so on) with these Updates and I need more than 12 Hours at the Moment to repair all the Errors.
My last Problem is:
There is no Synchronisation of Photos between iTunes 10.5 and iPhone with iOS 5.
I can not see my Photos in my iPhone.
The Capacity in iTunes 10.5 shows 4,4 GB Fotos on my iPhone, but in my iPhone, there is no Folder in the Photo App and so I can not see the 4,4 GB of my Photos.
This Problem comes with iOS 5. I had this Problem never before.
First, I gave in iTunes a OK for a Home Sharing of Music, Videos, Photos and so on for the Folders and for the iPhone.
Second, I was in iTunes in Photos and deleted the Check in the Folder Photos.
Third, I made a Synchronisation with iTunes and the iPhone.
Fourth, the Capacity of the Photos was then only at 0,17 GB.
Fifth, I close iTunes and switched off the iPhone.
Sixth, I started iTunes and iPhone new and bring both together with the USB-Port.
Seventh, the Syncronisation started and the Capacity of the Photos in iTunes was at 0,17 GB, too.
Eigth, I set a new Check in the Folder Photos in iTunes for a Synchronisation.
Ninth, the Capacity showed 4,4 GB again.
Tenth, the Synchronisation started and showed on the Display "2 Photos of 16.000".
Eleventh, the Synchronisation Circle stopped after 10 Seconds, but the Notebook worked 2 Minutes longer.
And after this the Synchronisation stopped appruptely / crashed (?) and the Photos are "unvisible" on the iPhone.
Is this a known Bug?
Has Someone a Solution for a correct Synchronisation of the Photos, so that I can see successfully my Photos in my iPhone again?

If you are having audio issues with your iPhone after updating to iOS 6.1.3, you may want to update to the recently released iOS 6.1.4 and see if the issue persists:

Some of the photo I take with my iphone will not get saved into my photo stream. Some of these photos were taken while the iphone was connected to the wifi, but did not get saved. Other photos were while not on wifi and they seem to get saved. I have not narrowed down what is the difference between those photos that get saved and those that don't get saved. Is there a way to force a photo to get saved? I would like to be able to access these photos from all my devices.
I also have an issue with the photo stream on my PC getting updated. I have photos in the photo stream that is updated on my Ipad and iphone. However, these photos are not getting updated on the PC. Everything seems to be set up on the icloud and photos stream for the PC.
Thanks,That is the way it is designed to work. If you want the photos on your Mac on your new iPhone, you can sync them with iTunes.

My dad and i,have the same icloud id,when i updated the software (to ios 8.1.3) i have my dad´s photos on my iphone.And want my photos back (i tried by restoring my phone from my last backup)but still have my dad´s photos in my device
And that's exactly the problem, because everyone should have their own account for iCloud. You can share an Apple ID for iTunes & App Store purchases, but you shouldn't do that for iCloud (Mail, Calendar, Contacts etc. ... ...and Photos). The problem of using the same account together could mean that only your dad's photos were stored.

My iPhone 4S will not, as of today, update the photo albums I tell it to. It did yesterday but will not today. What am I doing wrong? I haven't changed anything in the settings.
the first one can be resolved by following the steps in article TS3221 which you can search for in the upper-right corner of this page
the second one is caused by security software on your computer blocking the pc's communication with the apple update server. make sure you turn that stuff off or uninstall it if that doesn't work. also turn off your firewall
to be honest, i'm pretty sure that all the instances of error 11 i've heard of have been related to jailbreaking software on the computer or the phone

I tried to update my photo albums in my Iphone 4S. I could not, and the old photos were removed. I tried again to copy the albums in the Iphone from a PC Windows XP folder and it does not work.
You can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone.
So, yes, you need to get a sim card. -

seems like your phone isn't activated properly. try doing a hard reset (hold power+home until phone restarts).
if you have a CDMA carrier, this might not fix it for you. call the carrier and ask them to reset the activation. -
I opened a family iCloud sharing account recently, at first I was able to share photos but now all I can do is receive photos and comments. I currently have the iPhone 6 updated to the current version. Is there something wrong with my phon? 1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now? -
I need more space on my iPhone to update to iOS 7.0.6. I was able to import and then delete my Camera Roll but not my Photo Library. How do I do that?
To delete your photo library you need to connect to iTunes, then remove the selection for the images, then sync the device.
While you are connected to iTunes do the update through iTunes. It takes much less memory as the update is loaded onto your computer, unpacked, then sent to the device. -
Calender entries made on iPhone get updated into Outlook.
None of the calender entries made on my iPhone get updated into Outlook.
All of the calendar entries made in Outlook get updated on my iPhone.
My Contacts are sync'd both directions. Just the Calendar entries only get synced TO the iphone and NOT FROM the iphone. This seemed to start this year, maybe after an update to the iPhone or iTunes.Go to settings > mail contacts and calendars

I think I am following -- I was able to upload to my iPhoto and all photos and videos are there that is a plus! I tried to create an Event in my iPhoto and put all of my photos in that event but for some reason, now my iTunes it not recognizing that Event in my iPhoto. It is not allowing me to import just that event at the moment but I may be doing something wrong. At least all of my pics and vids are in iPhoto so that is a plus and I know they are at least saved somewhere. Just for some reason, my iTunes it not locating the event that I created with only those photos.

Also, I had no clue that my iCloud could be backed up via cellular data! However, is this a new feature with the most updated iOS?? Unforutnatly I am like 2 iOS updates behind because I don't have enough storage on my phone. I still get the notification that my phone needs to be plugged in and connected to wifi in order to back up to the cloud :-(
How can I sync using USB? Right now when i click on the info tab for my iPhone in my iTunes this is the answer that I get -- I am a little unclear as to what it means.

Error 1638 - iPhone software update server can not be contacted.

I can't update my iPhone iOS to 4.3.3 with iTunes since a few months i still have the 4.3 version. I am using iTunes with an iMac with all software updated.
I am getting the error "iPhone software update server can not be contacted..."
I made a few research and tried the following fix:

http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297 with no success (specifically the Blocked by configuration section - 2 Rebuild network information, the hosts file under /private/etc/hosts had no information that needed to be commented with #)
After all troubleshooting I re-installed iTunes with http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1224
And I am still getting the same error...
What can I do?
Thanks for your helpSame issue still with OS X Lion, last version of iTunes, can't update to iOS 4.3.5 or restore my iPhone 4. iPhone isn't Jailbrake. I am allways getting the error: "the iPhone "****" cannot be updated at this time because the iPhone software update server could not be contacted or is temporarily unavailable." (error 1638).
I'd like to update iOS or restore my iPhone if needed but this doesn't seem to work neither as the problem is related to the conenction to the server.

Ok I’m completely lost here....
I’m running Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 (Build 2600), I updated iTunes to 11.0.2.25 and some other updates for windows last night on my laptop. I try connecting to download the iOS 6.1.2 update for my iPhone 4 and my iPhone 5 via iTunes. I am getting this message for both "iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet. Make sure your internet connection is active and try again." Everything was fine with connecting prior to running these updates because I downloaded the 6.1 update with no problems when it came out.
What I have done so far with which has made no difference:
Checked my internet connection
Changed my internet connection
Signed out of iTunes and then signed back in
Ran diagnostics via iTunes, comes back with: Network interfaces verified- Internet connection failed- Secure link to iTunes store verified
Connection attempt to Apple web site was successful.
Connection attempt to browsing iTunes Store was successful.
Connection attempt to purchasing from iTunes Store was successful.
Connection attempt to iPhone activation server was successful.
Connection attempt to firmware update server was successful.
Connection attempt to Gracenote server was successful.
Last successful iTunes Store access was 2013-02-20 20:40:48.
Disabled firewall, spy sweeper, virus scanner

Rebooted
Checked the parental controls in iTunes
Start>control panel>internet options>connections tab> lan settings> selected the "automatically detect settings"
Deleted iTunes and reinstalled iTunes
When I would "ping gs.apple.com" it would come back with "request timed out" no matter what internet connection I was on, so I went into the hosts file start>my computer>(C:)>WINDOWS>system32>drivers>ect>HOSTS and added "# 127.0.0.1 gs.apple.com". Now it will ping gs.apple.com just fine but still comes up with the "iTunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the internet" message in iTunes when i try to download the update.
If anyone can come up with any ideas that I haven’t tried, please let me know. This is keeping me back from updating both of my phones along with if anything should ever happen to them; restores as well.im computer is connected i can go to the apple store through itunes but when i plug my phone in i keep getting that alert... i plugged my phone in to update it after the apple loaded the itunes icon and a usb showed up.
