IPhone 4 update to ios 7 frozen for the past hour on less than 10%. What should I do??
Same thing happening on both phones. Have incredibly fast wifi so that isn't the problem. Should I just wait it out??
The servers are going to be very busy today. Lots of people are trying to download it at the same time. Just keep waiting and it should eventually work like normal.

I went to update to the new ios and my phone immediately went into recovery mode. I called apple and they said I had to restore my iphone 5. I did what they told me to do through iTunes on my macbook and now the box that says Contacting the IPhone software update server has been there for 4 hours with no progress.
It can not do that all by itself.
When you plugged it in, iTunes said 'Oh goody! You got a new phone! Would you like to make it just like your old phone?'...
You explicitly said 'Yes'.
You can't undo that.
No backup of the current state of the new phone was made. It was wiped and the last backup of your old phone was restored to it.
Anything you had on the new phone is gone. -

I have been attempting to wipe/erase the iphone 4S I recently purchased...for the past 20 hours....I went to Reset in Settings and clicked on "Erase All Content and Settings"....At that point the phone the screen went dark except for a white circular symbol revolving - indicating something should be happening....
The instructions indicated that, depending on what needed to be erased, the process could take several hours. Even though the device had a Tom Tom application with all the maps of Europe etc (about 2GB) and there were several other apps on the device, it does not seem to me normal that the device would be still clearing into the next day - today!
Can you please help!?
Richard W.Something has gone wrong. Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode & restore it:
Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until your phone turns off, then release.
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -
Unfortunately, I have tried signing into Itunes for the past hour and keep getting this message: 'We're sorry we cannot complete your request on the itunes store at the time. Please try again later.' I'm using a thinkpad laptop T430. Please help!
I have got the same problem. I am using windows 8.1, latest version of iTunes, Symantec NIS. My internet connection is working.
My apple Id and my password are correct since they work on my iPad and on my iPhone.
message is "ware sorry.we cannot complete your request on the itunes store at this time." And in smaller letters : "try again later". Which i did many times over several days. Just does not work.

My phone has been asked to be plugged into itunes for the past hour or so, and it has been plugged in the whole time... i have tried holding in both buttons too turn it on and nothing is happening... whats wrong with it and how do i fix this :(?

iPhone 4s just updated with IOS 8. Now my calendar does not offer the full list of items by day on the screen. Instead I see the month and below the month are the appointments in a list for the selected day only. I would like the option to have the full list available as it is much easier to scroll thru the list when making appointments.

I've edited a Pages doc (which is stored on iCloud) on my iMac; when I checked on my iPad it just shows that the document is updating with the cog wheel going round and it's been like that now for well over an hour. While that is going on Pages on my iPad is frozen and I can't open the document. When I logged onto my iCloud account I found that the document is updated there. Can someone please explain what is going on with my iPad and how I can stop what seems a never ending process.

Documents I've updated on my Mac or uploaded from iCloud.com don't appear on my iOS device
If you're using an iWork for iOS app (Pages, Numbers, or Keynote), check the iCloud system requirements and make sure that you're using the latest version of iWork. For third party apps, check the documentation that came with the app, or check with the app developer to make sure the app supports iCloud. App Store application descriptions often indicate whether the app supports iCloud.
Go to Apple () menu > System Preferences on your Mac. Click iCloud and confirm that you're signed in to iCloud and the Documents & Data checkbox is selected.
After opening your iOS app, wait a few minutes for the documents to appear. Your iOS device may not have connected to iCloud since changes were made to the document at iCloud.com or on your other devices.
Try creating a new document on your iOS device, then check again for the documents from iCloud to appear.
Go to Settings > iCloud > Documents & Data and confirm that Use Cellular Data is turned on.
Confirm that you're connected to the Internet by checking for an Edge, 3G, 4G, LTE, or Wi-Fi icon in your device's status bar. Test your connection by opening apple.com in Safari.
Try resetting iCloud Documents & Data service.
Note: Preview and TextEdit documents uploaded to your iCloud Documents Library on your Mac will not be visible on iCloud.com or an iOS device, and iCloud iWork documents saved to iCloud cannot be viewed in Preview or TextEdit.

I've had an Apple logo and a blank loading bar for the past hour since upgrading to iOS 6
I don't know what to do. After downloading and installing it roced me into restore mode, and tole me I had to connect to iTunes. iTunes told me the phone could not be restored and ejected the iPhone. Now I just have an Apple and a blank status bad that has not moved for over an hour.
Any advice would be nice.They've changed it in iOS and updates (and updates ONLY) do not require a password since it is really unnecessary as they have it on record that you were the one who bought the app. Why is more security needed, you aren't going to be charged for anything?
Next time you update and app go to the App Store and try to buy something. You will be asked for your password. -

I updated to ios 6 when it first came out and nothing happened till now. My wifi is grayed out and not working and my Bluetooth isn't working too please somone help this is getting annoying. I tried restoring the setting and resetting everything but nothing worked.

The internet was working fine til 10:31am philippine time. Was downloading OSX Lion, at that time it was somewhere half. Then all of a sudden internet failed and lost connection. Called my ISP immediately and was told it would take 24-48hours for the service to be restored. THen after ending the call the OSx Lion icon disappeared. I dont know what to do. Im not techie at all. Please guys. HELP ME>

Apple is having all devices authenticate after the update and since everyone is updating, the authentication servers are being slammed as well. Either wait until tomorrow, or just keep trying.

I had my I phone 4s replaced today at the Apple store. I previously backed it up on ICloud. I'm downloading from ICloud to the new phone. The pictures have been stuck on number 215 for an hour now. I've turned the phone off and on several times, but it won't progress in downloading the pictures. This happened the last time the phone was replaced and there was something I could do to get things moving, but I don't remember what?
Then you'll have to decide when you think it's hung and unlikely to restart. At that point, you'll probably have to reset it (by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release) and try restoring the backup again.
The only "solution" I've seen posted on photos that fail to restore from a backup that seems to have worked for others, is the on posted by ezjules here: https://discussions.apple.com/message/19518589#19518589. If you restore the backup again, you could give it a try and see if it works for you.
