IPhone 4 verliert Zeppelin Air Connection
Habe meinen Zeppelin Air wunderbar in Betrieb genommen, mit dem iPad gibt es keinen Ärger, aber beide iPhone 4 haben das gleiche Problem: Sie verlieren nach kurzer Zeit die Verbindung, stoppen die Wiedergabe, springen bei der Lautsprecherauswahl auf Lautsprecher "iPhone". Manchmal fehlt beim Auftauchen des Fehlers auch kurz das Lautsprecherauswahl-Icon. M.E. liegt es am iPhone, nicht am Zeppelin, denn mit dem Mac oder dem iPad läuft es ja.
Dummerweise ist das iPhone aber eigentlich das Gerät, mit dem es laufen sollte. Weiß jemand Rat?

In the meantime we suggest power-cycling your wireless router and Zeppelin Air in order to reestablish Airplay streaming on your network, then using the “Remote” application to choose music remotely then stream it from your computer’s iTunes library.

Zeppelin Air Toruble with my iPhone 4
Basically when I connect my iPhone 4 (4.3.1) to AirPlay and try to adjust the volume using the buttons on the unit or the zeppelin remote it becomes really glitchy e.g. I have hit volume up and the volume decides to go down vice versa.
I had this trouble with my 1st Zeppelin and returned it for a replacement. On getting my second zeppelin I tried it without updating the stereo's firmware and everything was fine, so I updated the firmware again and the problem arose again.
I was wondering if anyone with the same setup as me (Zeppelin Air and iPhone 4 (4.3.1) could check if they have the same issue, hopefully from this information I will be able to determine if it's my phone software (my Dad's 3GS (4.3.1) works perfectly fine) or if it's the latest Zeppelin firmware causing the bug with my phone.

He doesn't know what phone he was using at the time (not conscistent like yours), sorry. I'm figuring it's a issue with the Zeppelin, but that's a hunch at best. And if you've managed to isolate it on you're iPhone 4, then who knows... Can't say what firmware version he's on (on the zeppelin) but he got it in the beginning of april and have definitly not upgraded it. Don't know about the version on his iPhone 4 either...
I've got one of these as well but havn't had that perticular problem. Have had to restart mine (zeppelin) on several occations because it disconnects and stays that way from the WiFi (Airport Extreme).
I have mostly used it with Airfoil, but a fair bit on my two iPhone 4s (with 4.3.1 and .2) as well and it's worked fine.

BTW, are you using ethernet or WiFi?

I have 2 iPods, one is a 60GB Classic formatted to Mac the other is a 80GB Classic formatted to Windows. When either is connected to my Zeppelin Air Dock, a message appears on the iPod saying "The currently attached accessory is not supported by this iPod"
I have updated the firmware on the Zeppelin and have the latest updates on each of the iPods.
The Zeppelin works fine and connects to the computer and laptop without issues.I'm having the same problem, it just started today. I've been running w/ the nike+ sensor and receive w/ my iPod nano for 6 months, logging 75 runs, so don't understand why I'm getting this error now.
Can someone please reply w/ how to resolve this issue? I have Nike+ challenges coming up soon that I can't miss. Thanks! -
i have a targus 4.0 bluetooth usb adapter and so i can pair my iphone 4s and ipad air wirelessly, it seems to pair ok but when i try to connect i get a error message or not compatible. can some one tell me if it i can use this bluetooth with my devices, thanks

You can only add songs to your iOS device from iTunes via Wi-Fi sync or via your cable, not Bluetooth.

my airport time capsule will no longer allow our iPhones or vizio smart tvs to connect to it, though my iPad air mac mini and mac air connect fine. Why is this? does a recent software update have anything to do with it?
What model is your TC? What is the firmware?
I recommend you do a factory reset and use short names.. not apple recommended names.
Short.. 2-20 characters .. less than 10 even better.
No spaces.
Pure alphanumeric.
Set fixed channels for 2.4ghz wireless.. test with 11, 6, 1 at least.
That often helps.. if not and is old, ie Gen1-4 go back to 7.6.1 firmware which is far more solid. -
I did everything the article suggests. And for my macbook pro it works perfectly. But all the other devices (iphone 5, 4, Macbook Air) can't connect to the network. Anybody any idea's?
Try resetting your modem. Power it down. Wait a moment, then power it up again. While it resets, do not change what is connected to it.
In another, though unrelated article, Apple recommends the following:
If you have configured your Wi-Fi base stations in the past, it may be helpful to do a factory default reset of each Wi-Fi base station that will be part of the wireless extended network before you begin.
This step really ought not be considered optional for the configuration you propose. If the problem persists after resetting your modem, reset everything else too. -

OK ... I'm going to answer my own question. I checked the box in iTunes PREFS "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically" then went back to the DEVICES screen, iPhone summary, then unplugged the iPhone, and then back to iTunes PREFS and re-checked that box, then quit iTunes. Then I plugged the iPhone back into the computer and Voila! iTunes opens and syncs! Why? Who knows?
This did NOT SOLVE the problem of wireless backup ... still not working ... whether iTunes is open or not. -

Ich habe einen Zeppelin Air. Mit meinem Mac Book und dem Iphone 4 funktioniert dieser auch super. Jetzt habe ich das Iphone 4s bekommen und komme nicht mehr weiter.Der Zeppelin ist nur bedingt mit diesem Iphone nutzbar. Ich war bereits im MStore. Dort sagte man mir, ich solle den Zeppelin updaten. Gesagt, getan. Iphone 4s funktionierte Wireless für ca 45 Minuten. Dann brach die Verbindung ab und ich musste den Zeppelin zum x-ten mal neu starten, da auch meine anderen Geräte sonst nicht mehr mit dem Zeppelin kommunizierte.
Nach meiner Recherche im Internet scheint das iphone 4s nicht ordentlich mit dem Zeppelin zu kommunizieren. Ist das Richtig? Update itunes 10.6.1.7 - Zeppelin Air issues

Wondering if somebody else also is occuring this in order to get it through with Apple.
A few days ago I updates my itunes version to 10.6.1.7. After the update, I have a lot of lag on my airplay, especially to a B&W zeppelin air device. It looks like iTunes is continuously shifting between the computer's speaker output and the zeppelin's output although both are selected.
This only seems to be from my pc to the zeppelin device. Using my iphone to airplay to the zeppelin works fine.
Information about the PC, LAN, Zeppelin:
* Windows 7 x64 fully updated, Quadcore 2.83Ghz, 4GB RAM (of which plenty is available), iTunes 10.6.1.7 x64 version
* 1 Gbps LAN network, minimal usage
* Zeppelin is up to the latest firmware version 1.3.1_01 and is connected wireless (n) to the LAN
- Other devices on the network don't expirience lagging so the problem seems solely located to iTunes.
- upnp using the same pc to a remote device also works fine ruling out pc issues.
- reinstallation of iTunes didn't solve the issues as well.
I'm trying to find a older version from iTunes 10.5.x to see if that resolves the issues but so far I haven't found a downloadable installer yet.
