IPhone 4 with Otterbox Commuter Case...Do any third party docks work???

Hello, I have a Otterbox Commuter on my iPhone 4. Does anyone know of any docks that will allow me to charge my iPhone with its case on? I appreciate any advice!!

Yes, the ZOOM mic works on the new macbook AIR, ...I have lots of mics, Ive used its jack to plug in. MOST of the sony external mics plug in NOT thru the mic jack, but via USB.
The PRO mics, most, plug in via USB, not the headphone/mic jack.
SONY ICD-SX712 is a great choice (best "cheap" mic ive found)

I have run into problems with my iPhone 4. I hadn't done an update for a while so decided to get my itunes and iphone 4 up to date. I downloaded all the latest versions. However now non of my third party apps work and my largest one has vanished. I try and open them and they flash up and then close again. I thought the easiest thing to do was to restore so I tried to syn my apps onto itunes so I wouldn't loose them. However it won't let me sync the apps onto iTunes. It ill allow me to syn the old version when I just started but since then I have bought a dozen other apps. Can anyone help. thanks

Well this won't work for me...
I had all of my apps and music stored in iTunes, I updated to the newest 9.2 iTunes and did a 4.0 update to my iPhone 3G all the while not noticing that EVERYTHING IN iTUNES was GONE. When I got done updating my iPhone it was late so i went to bed... Next day came back to sync everything and thats when I saw it was all gone...

did what the link said and NOW I have all my 6K+ MUSIC back but not ONE APP. The App's are completely gone from when you nav. to the location the link says... There isn't a mobile sync folder there...
NOT SURE WHAT TO DO NEXT... Very Frustrated and MAD. I don't want to redownload all my apps manually. TO many to do it that way.

Faxing from Oracle EBusiness Suit with XMLP-Do i need any third party Tool?

We are having Oracle Apps 11.5.10.2 on Sun Solaris 5.8. We want to do faxing from our E Business Suit. I gone through the BLOG Entry for Faxing,where i found that i need to install CPUS. Can I installed CPUS on SUN Solaris? In the BLOG posted By TIM, it's wriiten there, that it can be installed on LINUX or UNIX only. Is there any way to installed it on SUN Solaris?
What is efax 0.9 software mentioned in user guide p.no. 11-38 for installing and setting up fax for CPUS.
Do i need any third party tool to do faxing from Oracle E-Business Suite.
OR if i am using XMLP for faxing then, it will take care of all the things, no need for any third party tool.
We are having XMLP 5.0.1 which comes by default with E-Business Suit 11.5.10.2.

SunSolaris is a flavor of UNIX so you can install and may even already have CUPS, get it to the latest version you can.
The efax soluition is an open source 'driver' if you will to enable faxing via CUPS.
You will not need anything else to do faxing from apps ... just cups and efax and your fax board of course.

Otterbox commuter case with car mount?

I just got a Droid X, and I'd really like to get the Otterbox commuter case. Does anyone know for sure whether it is compatible with a vehicle mount? Otterbox website says no, but the rep at the VzW store says that car mounts have a removable insert that allows it to work. I'd appreciate any info, especially the exact model of the car mount (if any) that works with the Otterbox. Thanks!

With a little creativity and a dremel tool I was able to get the DX in the shell/holster case that Verizon sells to work. I originally had the silicone sleeve on it and it was a tight squeeze to make it work in the car dock. But me being me I wanted something that was going to add more protection for the phone and a belt clip. Took a little trial and error but now I have the best of both worlds. ..

Has anyone used an Otterbox Commuter Case for the iphone 4s on an iphone 4?

I want to get a new case for my iphone 4 and have previously had an Otterbox Commuter Case which I loved due to it's dust covers for the headphone and charger sockets. I much prefer the look of the new commuter case for the 4s around the camera and flash over the one for the 4 and was wondering whether anyone had put their 4 into the 4s case?
If so, is it ok?
Is there another similar case that has the plugs for the sockets that I'm not aware of?

You can put your iPhone 4 in a 4S case and it will work just fine. You shouldn't put a 4S in a 4 case (like the Otter Commuter) since the camera sensors are different.

Yeah, it doesn't look like much, but I'm leaving in the player dock and you can't see it when it's plugged in. Better than taking case on/off all the time. I didn't wanna cut my case because I don't think there'll be enough of it left to hold together very long. Good luck with yours! Nobody but you sees that photo, it does not appear on outgoing emails.
To remove the picture rather than change it, open Address Book and select your personal card, then from the menubar select Card > Clear Custom Image. Now the system will use Apple’s generic user picture in the login window and System Preferences’ Accounts pane. Mail and Address Book will remain blank until you designate a new picture in Address Book or System Preferences > Accounts.

With it you can create multiple iTunes libraries, one library called "Main" one called "Bootlegs" etc, and Multi-Tunes will allow you to quickly switch between them from within the iTunes window. Not exactly what your looking for but close.

How to make third party cables work on iphone?

I have been using the original Apple charger cable that came with my phone (iPhone 5C) for a good year, but then it broke. So I bought this non-Apple cable because I didn't really wanna spend a lot of money for an original one. I have already charged my phone with third-party cables before, so I thought it would work. The first time I used the non-Apple cord, there were minor difficulties because I had to plug and un-plug it several times before it actually charged. 2 days later, I plugged an original cable (which was my sister's) to charge my iPhone. Obviously, it worked. But later on, when I went to charge my iPhone with the non-Apple cable, a message popped up (This accessory may not be supported). I dismissed it, thinking it would still charge. No such luck. I tried to unplug and plug it, but still, it won't charge. Now, I have to charge through my laptop. Can anyone tell me how to make third-party cables work? I don't really wanna bring my laptop everytime I charge. I'm planning to only use this cable until I get my hands on an original one. Please help.

Are you seeing the EE (or T-Mobile) network name and network bars in the top right hand corner of the screen? Turn off WiFi (Settings>WiFi - turn this off). Is there anything next to the network name in the top right hand corner (3G, E or o)? E is Edge and o = GPRS.
If there's nothing next to the network name, turn off the iPhone and then turn it back on. To do this, press and hold down the button on the top until you see the 'Slide to Power Off' message. Slide and then wait for the iPhone to shut down. To turn it back on again, press and hold the top button again unti lkthe Apple logo shows on the screen.

I would like to use to "secure" SSH on OS Level the file/data transfer between XI and any third-party system Run OS Command before processing and OS command After processing. right now my XI server installed on iSeries OS.
with ISeries we can't call the Unix commands hope we need to go for AS400 (CL) Programming. If we created the AS400 programm how i can call that in XI.
If any one have idea pls let me know weather it will work or not.

But as i know in iSeries OS we can write the shell script we need to go for AS400 programe. If we go with AS400 how we need to call that programe and it will work or not i am not sure there i need some help please.

Unplug your iBook from the AC power, shut it down and take the main battery out for about fifteen minutes. Then you can put the battery back in, plug the power back in and restart. This should reset the USB and FireWire ports.
If that doesn't help, you could reset the Power Management Unit. Follow the instructions in Knowledge Base Article #14449 for resetting your PMU.
You probably should also startup from your Mac OS X install disk and run the Disk Utility to "repair disk" on your hard drive. This will determine if you've got some kind of file directory/software problems with the files on your hard drive.

I am looking for any third party software that may replace SecMon and IDS-MC. We have had so many issues with it that it is time to find a solution by looking for another vendor to manage Cisco's NID's. If anyone has had any luck please let me know.

CWSIM is another tool that you can use to get log messages out of sensor. for management purposes if you have a few sensors then you can use IDS device manager.
