Iphone 4 wont boot-up (turn-on)

wow, iphone wont turn on..... it died last night from a cardiac arrest, (jk battrey loss) and now it wont turn on. tryed everything. recovery mode DFU restart, everything. none of them work. like when i turn it on it boots up to the boot logo... and just freezes there....need help, missing very important phone calls can some ove take the time to reply PLEASE!?

hold down the on/off button and then square button at the same time, then once the phone turns off, turn it back on and plug it into your computer... this is what I did and my phone is now on...however; it says it is in recovery mode and i need to restore it to its original settings

On christmas eve my iphone for no reason shut itself down and wouldnt turn back on, whenever i tried turnt it on it would come up with 'Connect to iTunes'... as i didnt have my laptop on me at the time i had to leave it until today 26/12/2011 but now it wont show me the 'Connect to itunes' like it had before and wont boot past the apple sign, which now keeps flashing and my iphone wont appear in itunes to restore

Ive now managed to start the restore process i got this message.. itunes detected an iphone in recovey mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes.. then i click OK and RESTORE then it comes up with another message are you sure you want to restore 'iphone' iphone blah blah and i clicked restore and update which then extracts software...verifying iphone restore with apple...preparing iphone for restore then after about 3 seconds i get this message:the 'iphone' iphone could not be restored. An unknown error occured (21) ive tried this 3 times and still ot getting anyfurther ive uninstalled my security AVG and have turnt off firewalls ect... CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET ANY FURTHER???

Iphone 5 wont charge or turn on help please

my iphone 5 wont charge I tried everything to turn it back on. It was working one minute but then I went to go use it and it wouldn't turn on, 10 hours later and it STILL won't turn on. It was fully charged, but I charged it some more just in case - didn't work. Then, I plugged it into my computer while holding the home button down in order to update/restore it. It updated but never restored, and after that it STILLLLL won't turn on. I then tried holding the home and lock button down together for a few minutes in order to restart it, yet it still won't turn on. It is getting extremely frustrating at this point. I googled any other solutions to this problem, but all of the solutions I've basically already tried, and ended up never working.

Iphone 4 wont turn on or go into dfu mode. no sign of life. when i hook it to the computer itunes starts and says it is in recovery mode. i click restore but it only gets as far as "waiting on iphone" and the phone has the apple and a progress bar that remains empty for hours. nothing seems to help

Turn the Phone Off... ( if it isn’t already )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On...

IPhone 3g wont boot. iTunes doesnt recognise it in DFU

I recently tried to factory reset my phone on the iphone under the settings app. When I did it rebooted but did not start up again. It gets to the apple boot screen then the spinning wheel goes behind the apple and freezes. It sits like this until I turn it off. I have tried DFU mode on the iPhone and itunes on my laptop and desktop dont recognise it at all. But it does charge if its left.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Try reinstalling the Apple Mobile Device Service as shown here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1747
Also make sure the iPhone is directly connected to the Mac using the cable that came with it.
If the issue persists after reinstalling the Apple Mobile Device Service and directly connecting the iPhone, make a reservation to have a Genius at a local Apple retail store take a look at it or call AppleCare.

Take it to a store or call AppleCare. If you've only had it a month and haven't flushed it down your toilet it's still under warranty.

Iphone 3GS wont charge, or turn on

okay so my Iphone died one day and i have tried charging it with every possible cord, dock, outlet, laptop everything and it wont charge or show the red battery and lightning bolt. My mac wont recognize it nor will itunes but if i hold the home key and power buttons long enough when i plug it into my laptop it shows a usb cord and the itunes logo but itunes isnt seeing it on the computer. other than this it will only show the silver apple logo and then shut off. ive tried everything i tried restoring it, reseting it, everything and no luck. does this mean i will need a new battery or phone? that would suck, i have numbers and texts and photos and $1000 worth of itunes on there that isnt backed up due to i just got my laptop and if i lose it im screwed. very important data on there. help???
and btw, apple said im not under warranty on the expresslane thing but when i got my phone through telus it said i have the 1 year apple care protection plan!!! i paid for it there!!! and i havent even had it a year yet. so ***?

take it to apple store and they will give you a new one i had the same problem. but about the itunes stuff pretty much screwed unless you wanna pay for them to fix it

Not sure what you mean that you have no signal but are on 3. What are you trying to say?

If no change after restoring the iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup, there is a hardware problem.

Hi i recently built my own system, with just one ram stick in it boots fine and everything.
When i try to put the other stick in slot for so that in runs dual channel it just wont boot, it turns on starts the fans up and then just goes off, and repeats this.
The ram i have is Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit.
It also doesnt work in slots 2 and 4, can anyone help me :(?

Both ram sticks worked in slot one and it would boot but I tried running a game and it froze each occasion, cud this be due to the ram being dual channel and only having one in? Or that the ram has the wrong settings.
I have returned the motherboard along with the ram to the shop i got it from for tests to see if the dimm slots had problems. Il let you guys know what they say.
Thanks for the advice, when I get it back il build it again and see if it runs fine, if not il try the things youve said.
Can anyone else shed any light on this? Any other things I may have to try?

It sounds like your phone is not successfully booting even though you have reset the device. I would next recommend attempting a backup and restore to iTunes with this article:

If you are unable to restore with iTunes I would next put the device into recovery mode, and attempt the restore again:

As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.

Try to backup and restore you device in itunes...restoring the device is like removing the iOS software off the device and re-add in a newer software, after you have restore you device, MAKE SURE YOU SET UP YOUR DEVICE LIKE A NEW DEVICE, DONT NOT RESTORE FROM BACKUP!!... give the device a chance to use the newer software and see if the issue still persisting, if the issue still on going then its would be a hardware issue.
Call Apple Care and see if your device is still under warranty to get it replace
