Iphone 4 wont update to version 4.3.5, keeps saying cant connect to internet to update even though internet connection is fine, any suggestions?
iPhone 4 wont update to version 4.3.5, keeps saying "ITunes could not contact the iPhone software update server because you are not connected to the Internet, make sure your Internet connection is active and try again."
However there is nothing wrong with my Internet connection as the Internet works perfectly fine.
iPhone has updated previoulsy with no problems.
Any suggestions?

Disable your firewall AND antivirus. If you have ever used this computer to hack or jailbreak ANY iDevice (not just the one with the problem) you will have to restore your hosts file to the way it was before you did so.

iTunes told me to delete my backup folder when I was having problems syncing my phone to my computer. After that it wouldn't work at all. My phone is the iPhone4 and my computer is a Windows VistaI doubt that corrupt files are the problem. It is more likely a space or permissions issue. Is the hard-drive on which iTunes is stored close to capacity? Do you (or the particular user profile you have logged on with) have the requisite permissions to save to that drive?
Otherwise, do you get an error code? This might point us in the right direction. -
In the middle of an update, it call closed. Itunes keeps saying that it's not installed, even though ive tried reinstalling multiple times. All my iphone is doing it showing the ituns symbol and a charger. How can I fix this???

Hi I am having iphone 4S. Today while connecting to my laptop for regular update, my phone started rebooting and message showed error in rebooting. Now even though i connected to laptop which has internet connection, i phone OS booting still not completed

My iPad wont let me download apps it just keeps saying waiting.
1. Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
2. If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
3. You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
4. You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
5. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons -

Delete both apps using this utility > Download AppCleaner for Mac - Uninstall your apps easily. MacUpdate.com
That will delete the apps and all associated files.
Then re download the apps. That will download the most recent version updates included.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase. -

I've had all kinds of trouble keeping my iTunes software current over the past year, but have found the easiest way to remedy the issue is to simply download the latest version of iTunes as though I am a first-time user and then just install it into the directory my current version of iTunes is using. How do I get the internet connection back onto ipad even though it connects to Wifi successfully and I have checked on my iPhone which does connect via the same wifi and to the internet?
Your router may not have given your iPod a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address shown starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPod (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make/model, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc. -
I am unable to text after update. Also, the dock buttons are frozen. I've tried restoring, but it doesn't fix problem. Any suggestions?

I downloaded the update but it not installing it keep saying update is Unavailable at this time
Backup your device in iTunes first. After backup disconnect the device. On the device for to Setting > General > Update and launch the update there. Make sue you have it plugged into some power. iTunes seems to be having some issues with the update. I have update two iPhones and two iPads this way.

I have several users in an exchange environment who cannot email a photo from the iPhone. When the click on Email Photo, they are prompted to configure a mail account even though there is already an exchange account in place. How do I remediate this? Not all of the users in our environment have this issue. If the users having this issue, install a secondary email account, Gmail, Hotmail, etc, then they can send through those accounts. Why would the exchange account not be seen to send photos?
Sounds like it worked until the policies associated with the account that are creating the problem were fully pushed down.
Try setting up a new (test) Exhange account and see if it behaves the same way on the phone (after removing the problem account from the phone, of course). -

absolutely that is frustrating. if the battery life is fine there could be two things software or hardware. to find out if your back up your information in itunes and import pictures and then restore the phone as NEW then you can test it out. if it is still shutting off it is hardware related
