No. Zoom only applies to still pictures. Not that it makes much of a difference as it is just digital zoom anyway. If you want to focus in on something in a video, use video editing software. The result will be the same.

Hi guys,
Just bought a new C2-01 with the latest firmware, 11.40. You know C2 is a S40 phone. Unlike other S40 phones, i've just noticed that it DOES NOT show the remaining time count (based on free space) while recording Video. This important feature seems missing!
Has any C2-01 owners noticed this? What's wrong with Nokia!!?

Lol! It's a 'missing' feature that Nokia has hidden, or a bug because of being forgetten to implement, again by Nokia develeopers. It's no joy about being a 'high-end' device. The remaining time count costs just a few lines code in firmware, but i feel Nokia has intentionally decided not to put this simple feature to this model that 'should' appear during recording video like in other S40 phones.
That's simply irritating.

i remember before seeing peoples videos online of them zooming while recording a video. and im pretty sure i have at one time when i first got my iphone.

You can't. Zoom is not available in video mode. What you saw on online was either a third-party app from the app store or a jailbroken phone.

Please help, I just recently purchased an Olloclip, and i noticed the iphone zooms in automatically when on recording a video mode.
Maybe i should use a specific app when recording ? Or some kind of manual fix ?

The stock camera applcation zooms in when its in record mode, with or without the olloclip.
Im not using a 3rd party software/ application. How do you make sense? Smfh.

Nope, you can only zoom to take still pictures. Zooming with the iPhone's video camera is not supported. However, in iMovie you can zoom in on your video.

Hello,
I am planning on making a short film but recoding all the footage on my Ipad air, I wounded if it was possible to plug in an external shotgun microphone to use while recording viedo at the same time.
Here is the mic i was planning on getting:

How do you switch to front camera while recording video?

I have the iphone 5s and while I'm recording a video, I can't figure out how to switch back and worth between front and back camera. I know how to do it while not recording but I want to switch the camera as it's actually recording, is that possible?

I don't claim to know the details of each one of the hundreds of thousands (or perhaps millions) of apps out there in the App Store.
But I can tell you with all due respect if I were writing software for the iPhone / iPad, I would never consider such a product (that switches cameras while recording), because in my humble opinion, there would be very small if any demand for such a product.

I did sign a two year contract and completed that contract. The 3gs is no longer in service. My daughter is going overseas to protect you and your family. I was attempting to find a way for her to have a reliable phone that could offer her some connection with home as she travels through the middle east. She travels in missions all over.
At&T unlocks other phones of theirs why not the iPhone? AT&T says that Apple will not give them the code, it is not the carrier. If I would have known this situation would have come up I would have bought and unlocked 3gs phone"Deggie" . My main complaint is that Apple has not good excuse as to why they will not allow their phones to be unlocked from services well, AT&T . I bought the phone full price, completed the contract terms, even went for and iPhone 4 with another2 year contract, along with owning an apple computer... I love the product. My main issue is give me a good answer as to why you won't allow a phone to be unlocked. It doesn't hurt Apple, People still have to buy the phones from them, and use their App store and iTunes.
Sorry, just upset about my daughter heading over there, boots on the ground, and just pray she will be safe. Would have liked to facetime her while she is in the airports and in specific areas allowed for that.
Please don't come down on me for asking this question. I understand all the contracts etc.... but to single out the iPhone specifically to not unlock after contract is over does not seem fair.

I can edit videos from Zoom Q3 recorder, but they won't post correctly

I have no problems editing the videos I create with a Zoom Q3 recorder. I can change the color settings, adjust the sound, etc. Even when I turn the computer off and then back on the next day, the changes are saved.
The problem comes when I try to post them to Myspace or Youtube, when they suddenly revert to their pre-edited states. It's like I've never worked on them, even though they were properly saved as far as I can see.
I'm using the latest version of Quicktime Pro for Windows on an HP computer, Windows XP. Thanks in advance for any help on this!

Sorry. Forgot to mention this is on a Windows desktop computer. I don;t have an Ipad, Iphone or anything else of Apple origin.
