Dear support,
recently my iPhone 4S 32Gb IOS 5.1.1 having problem with SOUND, all application have no sound at all, games, keyboard, etc. But still can hear music and phone call.
Maybe, somebody in this communities ever have the same problem..... Please help?

HELP!!! iphone 3gs 32gb ios 4.3.3 stuck on apple logo and can do nothing
Yesterday, I tried to power on my 3gs after restored, but it stuck on apple logo like 20 mins then it rebooted itself and the cycle has been going on that way. It's been 15 hours of hard trying the ways that i could researched on google. I tried to hold both buttons for a long times, nothing happened, unless i held the buttons when it was about to reboot then the apple logo went off, and on, and off again while i kept holding buttons. But nothing new happened. I tried to hold the buttons till the reboot cycle, and release sleep button when the phone was totally off, I kept holding Home and plug it into computer, but the itunes didn't recognize it and the apple logo went back and stuck on screen invoking me.
Please help me experts!

Eddiehiya with the 3gs you hold down the on button at the same time as holding in the middle button for applications etx for a few seconds should solve it mate ian

I have an iPhone 4 also. If you are referring to the flyover view, its unavailble for the iPhone4. If you want to rotate the map, hold two fingers on the map for 2-3 seconds and rotate them in opposite directions.

Hi everyone.
I`m new to this and could do with some advise.
I`ve got a iPhone 4s 32gb. I`ve had it for 2 years and it`s always worked perfect.
I recently loaded ios 8.01 on to it and not long after it lost Wi-Fi. And it would only work on Wi-Fi if the battery was above 60%.
It`s also became slow and sometime freezed, but if I rebooted it it would work for a while.
Now I just loaded ios 8.1 and now it won`t work at all, Can`t make any call , No internet, No Wi-Fi, freezing all the time and will not switch off.
Is there any way of reloading ios7 because it worked perfect before I loaded ios 8 in it.
I hope some one can help mas i`m stuck without a phone.
many thanks for your time.I found that I was unable to update to iOS8.1 - essentially it seemed that I didn't have enough memory on the phone, but in trying to download the update it filled all the available memeory (d'uh Apple ... why not check before downloading??? ). Thus, when I tried updating via iTunes, iTunes wouldn't update the phone either because there was not enough memory. Eventually the phone was nearly bricked - it would not start without being connected to iTunes and I had to restore it. That took 6 attempts because the download from Apple seem to cut out. Finally on the last attempt the phone was updated, then I did a restore from a backup in iTunes. The only residual problem is that phone won't back up now into iTunes because it disconnects.
Deeply unimpressed with Apple's updating process now. It's reminiscent of Windows updates in the bad old days.
FWIW the 4S does sputter a little under iOS 8, but it is fine mostly. -
It has been not more than 10 days since i bought iphone 5s 32gb and the finger print scanner is not detecting the prints.what to do??is it an issue with the device or iOS??
Standard practices:
Restart the device (power off completely, then back on) - retest.
Reset (hold sleep wake and home buttons until apple logo appears) - you can try this, but it is most useful when your device is frozen.
Restore to factory settings - retest.
Make an appointment at an Apple retail store genius bar if the above did not resolve the issue.

Is this e-mail fraud?
It does not work to get the free phone.I fully believe it to be against the law and let them know in no uncertain terms, via phone and facebook. I've filed with the FTC. I have screen shots of the multiple offers I got about this and it clearly says 'upgrade early' and 'free'. I am very disappointed with the service I received pertaining to this issue. We've been customers since Alltell and this is ridiculous.

I have iphone 4s 32GB ,the volume of the ringer and alerts can't be adjusted using the volume buttons and lock sounds and keyboard clicks available, but all not appear ??!!!!!!!

To start troubleshooting this issue where you are unable to adjust the volume after receiving a call, please go ahead and first force close all of the apps currently running on the device, and then reset it by following the steps in the articles below.

I had the same issue with iphone 5s (32gb) i upgraded as soon as the 8.1.1 came out and i suddenly saw the battery drain like crazy. In mid morning i was down to 40% and in the early afternoon gone. I left it at night running on sleep mode and the battery was drained who knows when. I normally when i have 40-50% I leave it and in the morning i have a few percentage points left....but never nothing !1
My wife is running the same phone on "8.02" and I did not upgrade hers, and no issues with battery drain there. Now she refuses to let me touch her phone in case i upgrade and screw up hers too!.. she is right in not trusting these upgrades. !
I tried all the tips and tricks that you read all over the web to stop drainage...from background refresh, to motion reduce, location, notifications...etc...believe me tried them all.
I also restored the phone a few times to clean start (8.1.1), and then also from my back up in itunes...
Nothing worked. !! My 5s becomes warmer than my wife 5s and there is definitely something running in the background that depletes the battery much faster.
I went to check the battery with my mobile operator and they claimed there is no problem...but go tell the guy fixing screws on iphones that the web is full of reports on battery drain with 8.1.1 .
After much research and waste of time...i managed to find the IPSW for downgrading to "8.1" I did succeed to downgrade and i will be testing in the next few days if all is ok. I will report any results
I learned one lesson....don't trust the iOS "upgrades" until a few weeks and month go by to check what effects they have on the phone !! They sell you a phone for over 700-800 bucks and then you have to waste your time figuring out how to solve their software problems.Who is going to pay for my time?
With a market valuation of over $650 Billion and the stock price over $110, you would expect them to check thoroughly before they release a version to fix one device and screw up the others. I guess Apple & Samsung are almost running a duopoly on Smartphones. Yes, there is competition (HTC, LG, Sony, Nokia..) there but if you want the most advanced model, you need to choose between 2 or 3 suppliers. Once all your data is connected to one Operating System, the switching costs to another platform becomes expensive..cause you need to buy a new phone and a new tablet and move all your data, settings..etc
So for the time being i am stuck with iOS with an iPhone and iPad, and hopefully the downgrade will solve the Battery Drain of 8.1.1
So my recommendation if you have an iPhone 5s : DO NOT UPGRADE TO 8.1.1 -

Can I still use my iPhone 4S with iOS 8 as an iPod Touch?
hello, I currently bought an iPhone 4S 32gb with iOS 8 on eBay and i realized it had already been reported stolen so I cannot use it as a phone but can use it as an iPod. If I restore it, would I be able to use it as an iPod again or will it leave me on the activation screen ? Please explain.

I have an iPhone 4 32gb using iOS 7.1.2. Almost as soon as I unplug it it shuts down. As soon as I plug it in it powers up again. Whilst streaming music & playing it through a Bluetooth speaker I unplugged the iPhone & it continued to play as normal for hours. The moment I unlocked the iPhone it shut down again. Does anybody know what is going on here & how to fix the issue? I've tried two different restore methods to no avail.
Sounds like expert advice!. How is it the battery if it will still stream music & play a Bluetooth speaker whilst unplugged until it's unlocked?

Should i upgrade my iPhone 3GS to iOS 6.0.1 ?

A couple of days ago I bought an unlocked, apparently little used iPhone 3GS 32GB. To my surprise, the phone was still running iOS 3.1.3 (quite unusual to find this old iOS on a 3GS in December 2012). I checked out for typical jailbreak-apps and I didn`t find any. It looks pretty "innocent" in that respect, and it works like a dream. The battery seems to last boringly long. The only things that I would like to have on it are few but important (to me): I want to be able to turn off/on cellular data myself(always on on 3.1.3) and I need two apps that are no longer available for iOS 3.1.3 : Shazam and Maps With Me. NOTHING ELSE
I know that iOS 6 is available for the 3GS, but I`ve heard stories of 3GSes running into trouble after having been installed iOS 6 on. Like not reckognizing the SIM card, randomly rebooting, and having their batteries rapidly draining.
What should I do? Shall I upgrade and get the stuff I miss, but risk ending up with a troublesome phone? Or shall I stick with what I have but enjoy a good working phone?

I live in Norway, and the phone has been either provided by a Norwegian carrier, or bought unlocked from the Norwegian Apple Store. You can check yourself by going to Settings-General-About-Model and type the model number (MC133KN in my case) here: http://iphonefrom.com/en/MC133KN But it`s unlocked, I placed a Lebara SIM in it and it works perfectly.
If it has been carrier-locked then most(if not all) Norwegian carriers are selling the phones on a 12 months subscription contract. When the 12 months are up, the phone is being unlocked by the carrier either automatically, or upon customer`s request(depends which carrier you use).
It`s good to hear that your 3GS works well with the iOS 6, still after having read about issues after upgrade I have a feel that the upgrade to iOS 6 may be a hit or miss.
I read on a forum that early iPhones can only support 3 major upgrades. Can that be true?
