IPhone 4s adding invitees to Calendar items when synched to an enterprise gmail acct

I use an enterprise gmail account.  when adding calendar items from my phone, I don't see an option to invite others.

I wanted to add that, after these old previews have appeared while in lock screen, they also show up in my notification centre as supposedly new emails. However, I should clarify that they don't then reappear in my inbox. So it's resending the alert, but not resending the actual mail itself.
It's just happened again with another mail from Monday (three days ago) so here's a screenshot of my notification centre (the white gaps are obviously where I've cut out the content of my emails).
The top email is the most recent one I've received.
The second one down is from Monday. It's not the second most recent one I've received (there have been at least 50 emails in between them) and I had already read and deleted it.

  • 3Gs erratically deletes calendar items when synching with iTunes

Serious problem. I sync to MacBook Air with iTunes. Process ends up "randomly" deleting appointments. Sometimes lose an entire month's items. How can I stop this from happening?

I know this doesn't help, but I have a similar problem. Most people want to know how to delete old calendar entries. I want to know how to stop my iPhone automatically deleting them (all except repeated events like birthdays) more than a couple of months old. My calendar is like a diary, I want to be able to check back when I had a meeting, a trip, lunch... and I have it on my computer, but why should iPhone delete stuff without instructions?

  • Used pictures not added to the calendar items ...

Hi ...  Why aren't the pictures used to create the calendar not added to the calendar items (in parenthesis) ?

  • Does iphone keep any archive of calendar items before synchronizing

Does iphone keep an archive of calendar items before synchronizing.  I synchronized my outlook account on a new computer and iphone wiped out appointments made since the last synch on the old computer.

OK, I just read page 149-150 of the User Guide, which says the following:
"Choose “Mail, Contacts, Calendars,” choose an account, then do one of the following...
"To set how long before messages are removed permanently from Mail on iPhone, tap Advanced and tap Remove, then choose a time: Never, or after one day, one week, or one month."
First of all, it would be much clearer if the heading is "Delete Messages" instead of "Deleted Messages", which makes it look like only deleted messages are removed after specified time.
Also, does that mean if I set Mail app to show 50 recent messages, and I have 1,000 messages in the past week, I can only see 50 messages even though the other 950 messages are still on my iPhone? How do I access them, only through Spotlight?

  • IPhone does not accept mime calendar items

When sending Outlook for Mac calendar items (mime) to iPhone 5S they are not able to open and post to the phone

Unless you accept the invite on your computer and sync the event to the iPhone, you can't do anything with a .ics attachment to an email. Note that if you're using an MS Exchange/ActiveSync account on the iPhone, Outlook invites sent to that account can be accepted and will end up in the Calendar on the iPhone. But, that only works with calendar invitations to MS Exchange or MobileMe accounts, not with .ics attachments to emails.

  • How to save earlier Outlook calendar items when syncing?

When I sync my new blackberry it prompts me to delete all calendar items from my desktop Outlook from before I had the blackberry.  How can I keep my earlier calendar items in my Outlook on my desktop?  I do not need them on my blackberry, but I do need them on my desktop as a record.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    carsonclark,
I run BBDTM 4.7.  I don't run blackberry enterprise server.
In BBDTM you can go to Synchronization>>Configure>>Synchronization  Select the "Synchronization" botton on the right.
On the new screen, select "Calendar" and click "Setup..."
    0) which mail application is selected?
    1) do you have "two way sync" selected form the second screen?
    2) do you have "transfer only future items" from the third screen?

  • I have music on my iphone, but Itunes says 'Music - zero items' when iphone connected. How do i manage my songs?

Background info: I have music on my iphone that i would like to change / delete / update manually. Software versions of both itunes and iphone are up to date.
    So, in chronological order:
When i connect my iphone to my PC, itunes detects it. Fine. No problem.
I click on the 'on this iphone' tab (where I would expect to see the music i know to have on my iphone)... It says 'Music - zero items'. Hmmmm - i know i have over 1 GB of music on there...
I click on the summary tab for my iphone. 'Manually manage music and videos' is checked. The status bar at the bottom shows i have over 1 GB of 'other' information on my iphone, but no music.
Basically what i'm after is being able to delete and add music from my itunes to my iphone as i see fit. At present i am unable due to the reasons outlined above. Tried contacting Apple direct but providing me with only 140 characters to describe the problem to them is.. well... pretty w@nk.
Any help appreciated- have been scouring the discussion boards but cannot find anything that correlates directly.
    Thanks in advance

  • Problems getting Outlook email and calendar items to synch on iPhone 4S's.  Suggestions?

Many people in my office are having this problem...with a variety of different Windows versions and a variety of different generations of Outlook.  (Our office is gradually upgrading.)
Ideas?  I've studied the threads out there and none seemed to help.
    Thanks very much.

    Hey Bonesaw,
Thanks for the response.  It's a mixture of different things -- for example, my email syncs (over the air) but not my calendar.  Others are experiencing no syncing at all.

  • How can I "selectively" accept or reject calendar conflicts when synch blkbry to outlook?

When I synch my calendar details list those items that will be added - deleted - etc.  What if I only want to accept some of them?  Seems to be no option other then accept (all) or not.  HELP.

I can't seem to do this successfully. I use the GAL to select the room, but when I send out the meeting I immediately get an automated response back that the delivery failed. I heard this may be because the iPhone OS does not distinguish between a normal attendee and a resource. Yet you seem to have it working. What version of Exchange are you using. Is it on Mac or PC?  We are about to upgrade from Exchange 2003 to 2010, maybe that will help solve this?
Also, (this may just be semantics) on the iPhone under "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" the Exchange configuration is set to "on" to sync calendars. Is this the same as having the Exchange calendar "set as the default calendar" mentioned above?

  • Contacts and calendar lost when synching with new itunes

  • Unable to view the events saved on my iPhone on my MacBook's calendar/iCloud

Unable to view the events saved on my iPhone on my MacBook's calendar/iCloud
When looking through my calendar via my MacBook/iCloud, I am only seeing people's birthdays from my contacts and not seeing any events saved from my iPhone4s. Is there any logical explanation for this? My settings perhaps? I've been trying, but to no avail.

http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5209 might help you.  An iPhone 4 can airplay content from apps that support airplay and iTunes but it cannot mirror.  If your game does not have airplay in the app you cannot mirror it to the apple TV so I don't know if you can play just the music.  You should have no problem playing your iTunes over airplay though.

  • IPhone keeps erasing events in Calendar

Why does my iPhone keep erasing events in Calendar? When an event is about a month old, it's erased. They're kept in iCal, but I'd really like to keep them on my iPhone, too.

Go to Settings>Mail,Calendars,Contacts, scroll down to Calendars section and set Sync to a longer time period.

  • When I click on Compose in my gmail acct. I get the error #000. Then nothing works. Gmail info sent me to you.

When I am in my gmail acct. and click on "Compose" the box comes up and I can type in it, but an error message #000 appears at the top. It says it will retry in "so many minutes" and never does. It just adds time. The retry button only adds to the time in the "so many minutes." You can type in the compose box but it will never send and then nothing else will work. I click on the inbox and it will not response and the same with the other buttons.
My husband has an account, too and it doesn't do this. I can click compose, type, and send in his gmail acct.

  • Calendar items added on iPhone don't show in Outlook

There are four different color calendars showing on my iPhone 3GS. The items I add from my work PC on my Outlook calendar are blue. The items I add to my calendar on the iPhone are red. The red items do not show on my Outlook calendar. I've tried showing only the blue calendar, and adding the item on my iPhone, but it defaults back to the red calendar. How can I get appointments I add from my iPhone to show on my Outlook calendar?

Thank you! I had done a search but didn't find that earlier thread. The calendar items posted from my PC were blue, so I switched my default calendar to the blue calendar. I added a calendar item on my iPhone and it showed up on my calendar as blue. Before it was showing up as red. I'm sure this will be in my Outlook calendar on Monday.
