Iphone 4S apps freeze after connecting to itunes

When I plug my iphone 4S into my laptop and sync it, all downloaded apps freeze and I have to delete them and re-install them which is start to **** me off. Can anyone please tell me what is going on. I never had this issue with my iphone 3. Cheers,

I seem to have this issue as well. Sometimes after syncing and sometimes they just stop working. What I have found is that I can resolve this by going to the app store on my phone. Previous times there were updates to my current apps, I would update and then they would all work. Yesterday, they just stopped working and there were no updates available. I downloaded an app I didn't have (just a random app) and then they all started working. The issue has always been resolved by doing this. Hope that helps.

You can not merge accounts.
Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

I installed 3 Apps which worked fine. After connecting to itunes the Apps won't open when tapped.

Apps worked OK yesterday but after connecting to itunes the new apps will not open.

If you go to iTunes on the top you go to store and click Authorize This Computer. Then it should work fine. You may have to re download but that should fix it hope it helped

May need to reboot router - check ISP for any recent firmware updates for router - Reset All Settings - Reset Network Settings [NOT Erase All Content and Settings -> As this wipes the device back to factory settings]
Work -
See the IT Guy and ask about any "Other Security WiFi Blocks"
Other locations [Secure WiFi] -
Try a location with a Non Secure WiFi -> As these locataions "typically" do not have a IT Guy to go to for questions regarding [Other Security WiFi Blocks]
Non-Secure WiFi -
Then try the steps below [Even with the others listed above]
Just because you may be able to get to a Secure and Non Secure Website on safari on the iphone does not mean the WiFi connection is "Perfect or ok" and I am not saying it is not.
Also take into effect servers for iTunes updates/Apps etc could be overloaded at that time.
You can also try a simple Hard Reset [Hold down Sleep/Wake button and Home button at same time - Once see Apple Logo release both buttons - Allow iphone to reset]
If have already tried these and have not contacted AppleCare Support try that too.

The last thing which I did on my phone is software Update and left it at night .Today Morning I saw my IPhone 5 is stuck at connect to iTunes screen
I tried connecting to iTunes with my laptop and clicked on restore and update still it is at same screen
Rebooted the device still same screen

Remote app unable to connect to iTunes

Hi, I have my iPhone's Remote app 'paired' to my iMac's iTunes but recently, when I try connecting the remote to iTunes it just doesn't connect. There's the message that reads "Connecting to George's iTunes..." and the spinning gear but nothing.
Has this happened to anyone? Did you guys find a solution?
I control my home music this way and when this happens the only way to fix it is to quit iTunes and relaunch it but, obviously, isn't something I want to do (as I don't want to stop the music being played).

I have exactly the same problem with my Mac Mini running iTunes. Problem only occurs after Mac Mini has been on but inactive for a day or reasonable period of time. To connect using the iPhone Remote App I have to quit iTunes first then it works perfectly.
The only other applications running on the Mac Mini are EyeTv and Drop Copy. If you don't have these then they're not the problem. In Energy Saving preferences sleep is set to never so teh Mac Mini is always on.

I don't see an issue, but if you mean why didn't you get most of your memory back you need to see what else is using storage. Go to Settings/General/Usage. Wait a bit for it to calculate storage allocation, then when it finishes you can see how much storage each app uses.

Pictures gone from Ipad after connecting to Itunes

I was starting up the macpro after having put new harddisc in after breakdown. All my photos were on Ipad1. When connecting Ipad a message came: do you want to transfer pictures from Iphoto to Ipad, pictures on Ipad will be kept. I agreed, but all the pictures were deleated from Ipad, and not transferred to Iphoto. Didn´t get that opportunity.
Can someone tell me how to get the pictures back on either Ipad or Iphoto? No file in garbage indicating photos.

Completely shuts down? You mean the iPad actually turns off? That's what "shuts down" means to me. The device powers off.
You could try closing all apps in the recents tray and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
