Iphone 4s blank screen

My iphone 4s wont respond to button presses (Power, Home Etc). It wont sync to itunes. Doesnt even vibrate when i plug in the charger.
Ive had my brother call me to see if it would vibrate and nothing happens. Please help me, and no holding power and home does not work.

You will need to have iTunes open on your computer.  Plug one end of your cable into the computer and leave the phone disconnected.  While continuously holding down the home button, plug the cable into the bottom of the phone and keep holding until you see the iTunes logo and an image of a cable below it.  This will be recovery mode.  iTunes will then display a message and just follow the prompts to restore.  You will lose data with this, but since you have an iCloud backup you can restore once you get the phone up and running again.

Looks O.K. to me Opens correctly in Firefox and Opera as a log-in page for Killer Content - Win7x64 Fx5.
I can't see any oddities in your plug-ins. It never hurts to clear any relevant cookies and your cache.
You could see how it goes in Safe Mode - Hold Shift key down as you double click on the Firefox icon>ignore the page that opens and continue. If the page opens you probably have a problem with extensions or themes and you should work through this -
    https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Troubleshooting%20extensions%20and%20themes
A lot of things have been updated as well as Firefox and you could have a culprit or conflict. Next, if there is no improvement you could try disabling third party toolbars, and you should report back at this stage or if there has been early success.
Someone may come by with a more specific remedy.

  • IPhone 5 blank screen

    Hello everybody,
I have a new iPhone 5 with iOS 6. After waking up from sleep the screen resolution seems to be more than double of normal and I see only the blank screen without any icons, just blank. Messages are displaying with more than double resolution. But: Impossible to navigate. Impossible to restart because the slider is not seen.
Could handle it only by connecting to Mac/iTunes and resetting.
Has anybody an idea what this is?
    Thnax.
    Santo

Reset your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen displays, you should be good to go.
    Cheers,

  • HT1212 IPHONE HAS BLANK SCREEN

IPHONE WAS DROPPED, NOW HAS BLANK SCREEN AND IS VIBRATING

Bummer. Sounds like it's broken. I'd advise either taking it to a professional for repair or just scrapping it and getting a new phone.

  • HT4993 iphone 5 blank screen

i tried using the phone button to make a call then my screen went blank i can still use siri but nothing happens i cant reset my phone

    Hello there, skully0123.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up some good steps to try for resolving your issue:
    iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2802
    Particularly:
Display has no backlight or dark screen
Toggle the ringer switch to see if the unit vibrates. If it does, it could be that iPhone is getting power, but is not displaying any image.
Try turning iPhone off and then on again.
While connected to the iPhone charger, try to reset the iPhone.
If the low-battery screen appears, charge the iPhone.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?
    Contact Apple Support.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • Iphone 3g blank screen during calls

I bought a 3g last week to replace an original iphone that had stopped working. Everything seemed to work on the new phone except that during calls the screen would go blank and I could not get it back by holding it away from my ear, hitting the Home button, or anything else except the on/off button at the top, which ended the call. I was on the phone with apple tech support for several hours, trying all sorts of things that didn't solve the problem.
Then my grandson came home and looked at my phone. He surmised that the case, which I had transferred from my original iphone, was blocking the sensors. This turned out to be correct. If I push the phone slightly out of the case when on a call, the screen works just fine.
I decided to post this in case some one else runs into the same problem.

As soon as you said that the screen didn't come on, my first question was going to be are you using the original iPhone case? The proximity sensors on the 3G are positioned a little differently than the original phone.

I was pranking my friend that doesn't like other people taking pictures of him.
He thought I was really taking a photo so he slapped the iphone out of my
hand and it fell on  and turned off. I ran home I tried turning it on but nothing worked
so I opened the cause I thought it was the screen because I just put on a new screen
3 weeks ago. So I opened all the screws and took everything out then put everything back
in and closed the screws. I put the phone on charge and it was nothing but blank except
it kept vibrating. I restored it to factory settings. but that didnt work. I tried holding down
the Lock/Home button but nothing worked. I am phone-less. please I need a solution fast

Well, since you decided to take the phone apart, and you have already tried the normal troubleshooting measures we would suggest (like resetting the device), you are pretty much up a creek. There is no telling what may or may not be wrong with the device, since it has been taken apart.
Sorry, there is nothing we can do here to help you....

  • Iphone 3gs blank screen

My iphone is fully charged and out of nowhere the screen goes blank white. it is responsive to being plugged into the computer but it will not have an image. How do I fix this

"Troubleshooting iPhone hardware", http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802 suggests trying to Restore your phone. Here are the instructions: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
If that doesn't work, a trip to the Apple Store for service is all you can do. I had this problem and eventually had the screen replaced at a local Apple Retail Store Genius Bar

  • ITunes sees original iPhone but Blank Screen?

My newer iPhone died, so I need to go back to my old original iPhone (it's a liiiiiittle tough to buy a new one right now). When I put my new sim card into the original phone and connected it to iTunes on my MacBook, it showed up under devices on the left hand side. However, when I click to see the contents and sync - it shows nothing. It's a blank white screen that just says iPhone.
All I can do is either eject the iPhone or rename it.
    Help?

Apologies, I can't find a way to delete my post. Now iTunes is telling me that it can't back up my phone, and simply asks me to eject it and try again. And then it tells me the same again next time....

  • IPhone 3G Blank Screens?

Help! Whenever I'm talking to someone, once the call has ended, occasionally I will get just a black screen with the carrier bar? Anyone else getting this? And if possible, how to fix it? I am using an iPhone 3G running iOS 4.2.1

Reset your phone. Just press and hold the sleep/wake button and the Home button at the same time (ignore the slider) and then let go once you see the Apple logo on the screen. Don't worry, you won't lose anything. If the problem persists, try restoring the phone. Just make sure you backup everything first before you restore it.

  • What to do if iphone stays blank screen for so long

if anyone knows how to fix this please send anaswer

The iPhone really does not have user serviceable parts. If you open the device in an attempt to service it yourself, then you void any post-warranty support from Apple. They will not touch the device again. Should you make any mistakes, no one from Apple will service the device. If you take it to Apple, since it is an iPhone 5, it may qualify for their Battery program. Go to www.apple.com/support/iPhone and check to see. If not, you can still make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple store to have the device checked. If it is the battery and it does not qualify for the program, you may be able to get the battery replaced at a lower cost than replacing the device. Apple will be able to tell you how to proceed.

  • Hi iPhone 3gs blank screen except for mute/ringer level/no sim card messages.

Hi... disconnected my 3GS this am and screen won't work - just stays a sort of dark blue. It responds to SIM removal, ringer volume and mute with the usual messages, but otherwise nothing. It doesn't show on the iMac when plugged into it and won't respond to the reset procedure either. It is fully charged.
    Any ideas please

The experiences that everyone mentioned are exactly what I experienced as well. I have had the phone for exactly one day, and the phone circuit is dead. The error messages are "No SIM" related type error messages. I have called ATT, I have looked at the Apple discussion online for solutions, and I even went to the nearest Apple store, which was a real trip. It is located in the Paramus NJ Garden State Center. One of the floor sales staff told me that I could not even see someone about the phone, even though I had just bought it a day earlier and that I should go online to make an appointment. Let me say one thing to Apple. Just like the person who said that he had been with Apple for 20 years, I have been involved with them even longer. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on Macs and Mac peripherals, and this has to be the WORST that it has ever been. Many of my friends have similar stories about the rollout of the product, the poor and sometimes just downright incompetent response by Apple store staff, for a device that costs hundreds of dollars. Mr. Jobs better get out of his sick bed and start kicking some butts before this great device turns into a PR nightmare for Apple.

my iPhone is fully charged and just gives me a blank screen and will not turn off, what do I do?

Reset the phone like the manual says:  hold the on/off switch and the home button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears.  May take up to 30 sec
