Iphone 4s buy at verizon US, want to use in foreign country

Hi, I'm from argentina. my unkle brought me an iphone 4s, unlocked by verizon, but after sync with the latest vs of Itunes it says not valid SIM. I try in an friend's 4s and my SIM works perfectly! what can i do?

Absolutely not true. There is no difference, spec wise, between the iPhone sold in Japan & the GSM iPhone sold everywhere else. iPhones in Japan use UMTS 2100.

It depends on whether it is a model that supports the proper bands for the provider inIreland and whether it is not locked to a carrier in the US.

Contact that carrier and ask them if they offer this service adn if you qualify.

On the iPad open Settings/iCloud and delete the account using the button at the bottom. Once deleted log in using the other account. For iTunes Stores use Settings/iTunes & Apps Stores, tapp on the Apple ID at the top then sign out. Once done sign in using the other account. Once you are happy with the changes plug your iPad into your computer to update the backup.

In other words, we don't know. At present, Apple does not sell unlocked iPhones 6 and 6plus. Some say that T-Mobile will unlock it, but why take a chance? You will have no warranty in Australia...the phone must be returned to the US for service. You also don't know for sure if it will work in Australia. Get the Apple store gift card.

The Verizon 3g iPad uses a mobile technology called CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards or anything similar, it basically works off a hardware identifier for the device that's built-in to the packet radio and registered with your provider. CDMA is pretty much used by Verizon in North America and several countries in Asia.
Most of the world uses the GSM technology that's the basis of the AT&T 3g iPad. That's the one you want if you plan to use 3g wireless service outside of the country.
The WiFi feature on both systems works identically. The only stipulation is that you be near a WiFi access point.

I am pretty new to Apple Mac's and so am a bit of a novice. I have a Macbook Pro laptop. I am about to buy a new HD ready Plasma TV for my living room and would like to know the following?
1. Will it be possible for me to have the display on my Macbook shown (either wired or wirelessly) on a plasma tv?
2. If so how would this be acchieved? What sort of adapters/cables would I need. (idealy I would like it to be wireless).
3. If it is possible what sort of spec TV do I need. Any make/model recomendations welcome.
4. My "dream" is to be able to view my iphoto's and i'movies on my tv screen. *** well as play my Itunes through the Tv and use my macbook as a DVD player. I would also like to beable to surf the web via my macbook but have it showning on the tv. Is this a pipe dream or can it be done?

I use my Toshiba 42 inch Plasma TV as a monitor with my MacBook Core 2 Duo. I bought a mini DVI to VGA converter and a VGA cable and it hooks into a VGA input on my TV.I also wired it into my home theater speaker system It is great for internet and even better for movies but as soon as my Apple TV arrives (early March) I won't need it for that anymore. I just bought a used MDD dual 867MHz processor G4 and I plan to hook it to the TV when I get it and use the MacBook with the Apple TV only after that. Bottom line it will work great and as long as you don't leave a fixed image on the screen for an hour or longer you don't have to worry about screen burn. That's what screen savers were made for after all. Yes an LCD is a better choice if you are only going to use it as a computer monitor (but I doubt that's the case) but nothing beats a Plasma (for my eyes) for HD movies. Best Wishes, I'm sure you'll love it. Theres nothing like surfing the web on a really large screen!

I have recently travelled to Colorado for a project and my colleague bought iPhone 5, so I just happen to ask him to sell me his iPhone 4, so he did. Now, I have purchased this iPhone 4 from him. It's an A1332 model. So I know, it's a GSM phone. So my questions what is procedure to use (or make it work) in India?
Do I have to jailbrake or unlock it? Or just by inserting an Indian GSM SIM card (of course, cutting to micro SIM size), will it start working out of the box?

If your colleague purchased the iPhone as officially unlocked or had it unlocked by AT&T, it should work with any compatible carrier. If it was purchased locked to AT&T, they will have to unlock it. Here are AT&T's official requirements and procedure for unlocking an iPhone:

I have 2 iphones and 1 ipod touch. how do i use the same itunes on the home computer for each? all we use the home computer for is one big music database.
